Mariah gets German award
Pop-star Mariah Carey will be honored with the Bambi in the category "Pop international" on December 1, 2005 in Munich. With more than 140 million sold CDs and 16 number-one hits worldwide she is the most successful pop- and R'n'B-artist of all time and one of the most opalescent figures of the international music world.
"Bambi" confirmed today that they are in talks with Mariah, to bring her down for the award ceremony. Confirmation on whether Mariah is attending will be announced in the next few days. The Bambi Award Ceremony will be aired live on the German TV channel ARD. (Mariah Connection)
