About Dove from United States:

I'll always love Mariah (82,134) by Dove from United States
Sometimes I say negative things but at the end of the day I love Mariah and feel like I truly know her through her music. Like family. She's already proven herself as an artist and anything more she does is just icing. I think even the docu-series I'll look back on someday and feel grateful it exists.

I Don't (82,119) by Dove from United States
I went back and watched the video for I Don't and you guys are right - it's hilarious. I remember when it first came out, I watched it like twice, and then forgot about it because it made me feel uncomfortable. Which is a shame, because, it's the prettiest she's ever looked, ever. Her eyebrows are perfect. Her body is fit, her hair looks great, her make-up is gorgeous. Too many unfortunate scenes though. I think the awkwardest moment is at 2:16.

New album title (82,068) by Dove from United States
I think the album title should be born from the songs that are on the album. She's good at choosing titles that go with the theme of the album.

"Somehow the ones that I needed, would find me eventually" (82,018) by Dove from United States
I was watching old videos of Mariah and this one has some pretty magical moments in it. She's giving it her all and I love it.
There is an artist I really like, his name is Steven Wilson. Most of his stuff is Progressive Rock but recently he's ventured into pop. He's someone I dream about Mariah collaborating with. I consider him a musical genius. I believe he could be her next Walter Afanasieff. They would write beautiful songs together. I would really love to see Mariah work with Steven Wilson and also with Kendrick Lamar. Preferably all three of them together. On a whole album, not just a song.
This whole thing with Stella will blow over. The whole world has witnessed Mariah's eccentricities and we still love her. Despite tabloids trying to convince us otherwise. Mariah's fanbase is loyal and solid. It's obvious Stella is trying to blackmail Mariah but there is no need to be afraid because most of the things we're afraid of, they're just shadows. They're not real. Mariah, just keep shining your light. We live in a broken world and nobody expects you to be perfect. Nobody is, except Jesus.
The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand. Psalms 37:23‭-‬24

Using people to get a leg up (81,956) by Dove from United States
I used to look at Mariah dating Tommy Mottola when she was 18 (or whatever age she was) as her trying to get a "leg up" but now I don't see it that way. He was 40 and should have known better. He should have kept it professional. He probably groomed her into submission. I see that situation more like the Harvey Weinstein situation. And he benefited more from that relationship than Mariah did.
The story with Damizza, I don't know how that played out, but since they were closer in age and had similar interests; I can see them being actual friends at one point. Kind of like Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. I also feel like Damizza benefited more from their relationship than Mariah did. And Mariah didn't try to smear his name in the press after their relationship was over.
It's not the same. Tommy and Damizza benefited from their relationship with Mariah and vice versa. Mariah didn't benefit from her relationship with Stella. What Stella did for her, any good manager could have done for her, better and more professionally. It's not like Stella was opening special doors for her. She just seems like a leech.

2014 wasn't that great but I think it was mostly because she was recovering from her arm injury and she separated from Nick that year and didn't tell the public right away. She took time to deal with that. The album was great, we just didn't see her much. When she cleaned house and hired a new manager, I think we all expected things to get better, not worse. And they did get worse. Anna Nicole Smith comes to mind. I feel like Stella exploited Mariah. The docu-series could have been good for her career, if it would have been done right. But it wasn't. I feel like it cheapened Mariah's brand and made her look bad. It's nothing she can't recover from but, yes, it was time for Stella to go. I hope she stops letting Brett Ratner direct her videos too. His music videos are awful with all the stretched out slow motion. They're hard to watch.

Follow up (81,912) by Dove from United States
I just watched it again and it wasn't that bad this time. The video montage was great but I remember when it aired and I first watched it, the spoken part rubbed me the wrong way. I can't put my finger on why. I imagined Stella wrote it and I cringed and started to not like her.

Stella (81,911) by Dove from United States
I wanted to like Stella but I decided I didn't the moment I heard the intro to this performance (Vision of Love/Infinity - Live at Billboard Music Awards 2015). "And now she's celebrating all of that success." The whole things just sounds so unpolished and D list. Stella reminds me of the guy who lived with Britney Spears who would hide her cell phone chargers and crush medicine into her food. He wanted to live off her money just like Stella wanted to live off Mariah's money and fame. Praying for your protection Mariah.

I'm so proud of Mariah for going public with her diagnosis and I'm glad she's being treated. I'm so excited for new music from her. Love you Mariah and I'm rooting for you.
