Lawyer (51,331) by B from USA
Hello, Mariah's lawyer got her $49 million from Virgin for a an album that flopped. I hope she takes him for every dime he's made while being married to her. He is never going to get custody away from her. Her lawyers will eat him alive. He cheated and I bet there is a clause in their pre-nup that stipulates that either party cheats they get nothing. A common practice in the music industry and Hollywood. I knew she wasn't stupid. She had a prenup drawn up because even though she had her blinders on she knew his reputation.

Baby (51,329) by B from USA
I adore you. Nick is trash. If this is true he's just going to rehash things that have been out for quite some time. Mariah has a problem with alcohol, Mariah never wanted kids, she's insecure, her voice isn't what it used to be. How desperate. He knows that now that the marriage is over his only claim to fame is being Mariah's baby daddy. So he's looking for a payday. I highly doubt this book gets published. Mariah may be terrible at managers but she's got the best lawyer in the industry.

Las Vegas (51,315) by B from USA
I'm pretty sure the name Mariah Carey will attract an audience on the Vegas strip. If Britney can, surely Mariah can. I don't think every show is sold out. I bet the opening night is for sure.

Mine Again (51,289) by B from USA
Mariah deserved to win Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance for Mine Again. She lost to Aretha's A Home Is Not A Home which wasn't and isn't one of her best vocals. We Belong Together deserved Record and Song of the Year and TEOM deserved Album of the Year. The fact that they did not televise any of her wins was so disrespectful. Especially since she was used to promote the ceremony. Daydream deserved Pop Vocal Album of the Year. Beyonce continues to release underwhelming half sung half spoken garbage and they just keep handing her award after award. I'm glad Beck beat her for Album of the Year. I still can't believe Drunk In Love won R&B Song of the Year. The point of this rant the Grammy Awards are no longer an award of merit. The Grammy Awards have no impact and havent for years. Rhianna has won a Grammy for vocals, take a moment and let that sink in.

The Island/Def Jam Years (51,287) by B from USA
Charmbracelet: The One, I Only Wanted, Clown, My Saving Grace, and You Had Your Chance.
The Emancipation of Mimi: Mine Again, Stay The Night, One and Only, Your Girl, and So Lonely (One & Only Part II). Mine Again was nominated for the Best Traditional R&B Performance Award at the Grammy Awards an award she deserved.
E=MC2: Migrate, Cruise Control, Side Effects, I'm That Chick, Thanx 4 Nothin', and For The Record.
Memoirs: Obsessed.
MIAMTEC: #Beautiful, Faded, Dedicated, Make It Look Good, and Meteorite.
Mariah Carey is still relevant, twenty-five years later because she is more than a pretty face with a big voice. She is a songwriter and producer. She is a pioneer. Without her there would be no Beyoncé or Rhianna. Her legend is set in stone. Often imitated, never duplicated.

Back to Black (51,283) by B from USA
I think Mariah should work with Mark Ronson. I agree with the critics that said on MIAMTEC Mariah shined when she went for a timeless sound instead of trying to sound timely or trendy. Amy Winehouse and Adele. When I heard Someone Like You it reminded me of something Mariah would have wrote in the 90's reminds me of a hybrid of Underneath The Stars and Forever.

Marcel (51,266) by B from USA
Mariah has always had flaxen hair, listen to Sunflowers. She's biracial and vacationing in the tropics. Her skin looks flawless to me.

Shelly (51,265) by B from USA
I miss Shelly. I miss her positivity. The media outlets are saying Mariah looks radiant, stunning, happy, and healthy and the fans are saying she's fat? Have I stumbled into the twilight zone?

Get your eyes and ears checked (51,264) by B from USA
Mariah looks happy and healthy. She's usally either curvy or toned. She gained a little weight which I'm sure she will shed before she starts promoting #1's. She looked stunning walking arm in arm with Brett. She's not dating Brett, any fan that knows anything about Mariah knows he's one of her oldest and dearest friends. The carpool skit was brilliant. Since she singed with Epic she's been recieving a lot of positive press. I can't wait for the single and video that will blow our minds. 2015 is the return of The Voice.

Dan Tana's and HRC gala (50,985) by B from USA
After the Joan River's misstep Mariah has been dressing conservatively and looking stunning. I loved her look while out on the town in Hollywood. Is this LA Reid's influence or is she reading this messageboard? Makes you wonder, doesn't it?

My wish for Vegas (50,934) by B from USA
I hope Mariah sings like she did when she sang Looking In and My All at the MLB Charity Concert in Central Park. Her vocals were husky and impassioned. She also did a good job at the HRC benefit. I'm not worried about Vegas. She's a professional.

Assuming (50,932) by B from USA
Assuming Mariah Carey isn't taking care of her God given gift is ridiculous. Like the saying goes assuming makes an ass out of you and me. I think her performance of Hero at HRC gala was proof that she's taking care of her voice.

Mariah (50,903) by B from USA
Mariah was betrayed by Nick. Listen to Camouflage. She spells it out for the listener. Her confidence in herself was destroyed by his betrayal. She's slowly but surely regaining her confidence. Her appearance on Ellen and her recent performance of Hero are examples of Mariah's reemerging confidence. Talent always rises to the top. Ms. Carey is a talent to be reckoned with. She is a bird of paradise and like a phoenix she will rise from the ashes renewed.

Fans (50,896) by B from USA
If you're a fan you should celebrate the peaks and be there to support your favorite artist/icon during the valleys. I don't think half of you are even fans with your thinly veiled disses that in your delusional minds come across as constructive. Get a life and stop trying to dissect Mariah's and her supposed mental illness.

Hero performance and gay icon (50,895) by B from USA
I enjoyed the Hero performance. Mariah has always been a gay icon. I was a gay little boy listening to Outside and when I heard her lyrics it was like something I could have written myself. It touched me. I'll be a lamb for life even if MC becomes Norma Desmond level delusional and can't sing a single note.

What (50,891) by B from USA
This board hasn't been this critical or negative since 2001. You'd think Mariah flashed her vagina, shaved her head, and attacked the paparazzi.

Mariah (50,869) by B from USA
Mariah dressed conservatively until 1997. She started wearing revealing ensembles designed by Vera Wang and Versace that were sexy and classy. However, since 1999 she's worn ill fitting outfits. She looked classy during her stint in hell with Satan. This latest ensemble isn't doing her any favors. She looks stunning. She needs a stylist that can transform her from a Fashion Police victim into a style icon. She's a megastar. She needs to look the part. If she wants the world to take her and her comeback serious she needs to work with the best designers' and stylist in the industry, Mariah you can afford it.

Celine (50,866) by B from USA
I haven't been this sick of Celine Dion since MHWGO was played 3 or 4 times an hour. Correct me if I'm wrong but this is a Mariah Carey messageboard, isn't it?

MIAMTEC (50,850) by B from USA
Swift's 1989 album was the first and only to go platinum in 2014. Selling 100,000 copies of an album today is the equivalent of selling 500,000. The RIAA needs to change their antiquated system for issuing certifications. The best selling albums of the last few years have barely sold 2,000,000 copies. Those sells figures used to be a disappointment. Mariah's MIAMTEC sold well considering the state of the industry and the lack of promo. The lead single #Beautiful sold 1,000,000 copies and peaked at #15 on the Hot 100. MIAMTEC received some of the best reviews of Mariah's career. Her career and legacy are not in jeopardy. She didn't promote MIAMTEC because of issues in her personal life and career that we still don't know about other than the divorce.

Frank Ocean (50,849) by B from USA
Ocean started his career as a ghostwriter for artists such as Justin Bieber, John Legend and Brandy. Shelly listen to Ocean's Thinkin Bout You.

Shelly (50,848) by B from USA
The Smeezingtons are a songwriting and record producing team, consisting of Bruno Mars, Philip Lawrence, and Ari Levine. They produced and co-wrote Nothin' On You performed by rapper B.o.B and Mars and F You performed by Cee Lo. Mariah needs to work with The Smeezingtons and Bruno. If she did she'd score that elusive 19th #1.

Mariah going home to Sony-Epic (50,822) by B from USA
This is the kind of headline she needed. She was out and about looking stunning and now this announcemen. I think she's gearing up for a huge comeback.

Daydream and Shelly (50,809) by B from USA
Daydream was the first album I bought. I waa ten years old. She's been my favorite ever since. Daydream is my favorite album ever. Mariah needs to make an album like Daydream that showcases her pop songwriting genius and her admiration for old school R&B and Hip Hop. If she made this type of album she'd easily regain her throne.

Bruno's When I Was Your Man, Locked Out Of Heaven, Grenade, and Just The Way You Are. Happy Perez coproduced #Beautiful with Mariah and Miguel. Have you heard Adorn by Miguel? If not listen to it, asap. Frank Ocean is the only artist I suggested that I'm not familiar with but he's a critical darling that could make her step out of her comfort zone and do something radical. Something that takes people by surprise. Mark Ronson is the producer of Amy Winehouse's Back To Black, listen to My Tears Dry On Their Own. I'll compile a definite list in a day or two.
