As over the moon as when I played Hero to people on a piano in a train station while you facetimed me? Haha yeah that was an actual thing. O alcohol, I love to hate to love you. Next time I'll do the intro speech for you: "Now this is a song Mariah wrote. She think it's schmaltzy but she wrote it..."

Re: Christina Aguilera's carpool karaoke (82,141) (82,148) by Andrew from UK
Christina's CK was brilliant. She sang live, she had depth, power, beauty. It was great. Mariah can't sing like this anymore. I know this will make me further unpopular, but it is the truth. Mariah strains to sing anything from her catalogue. If you are wishing for Mariah to do a CK like this, you're going to be sorely disappointed.

Re: Dinner date with Bryan (82,145) (82,147) by Andrew from UK
Yes she looks great. The girls are covered up. It's a rarity. What isn't a rarity is Mariah needing to hold a man's hand in order to move her body across the face of the Earth. Does anyone know when this became a thing? Is it her weight? Level of sobriety? The centring of attention? It cannot be the heels as she used to traverse terrains on them unaided way in the past. What is it? This is not normal. Imagine if any female in your life tried to make this a thing. You would tell them they were nuts and to piss off.

NYE 2017 is on December 31 2016. NYE 2018 is on December 31 2017 and so on: so NYE 2017 referred to the Emotions high notes coming out of the speakers as if by magic. But yea she did lipsync the NYE just gone. The climax of Hero was blatant pre-record. But it was all in jest. Can't a miserable stain on humanity make a joke round 'ere?

Re: Anyone else notice (82,055) (82,057) by Andrew from UK
I wonder how much singing Mariah is actually doing. Take a 15 song, 1.5hr show. If each song is 4 minutes on average that's an hour worth of songs without the filler and bluster. If Mariah lips, let's say, a third of each track, that's 40 minutes of time where singing is required. It isn't enough to be considered strenuous, is it?

Re: New album title (82,054) (82,056) by Andrew from UK
I salute your optimism young Brandon but I think there is a little more to it than just an amazing single. Mariah needs to come across as a different artist, a different person with a different approach. In her appearance, she would do well to simplify and naturalise her look: out with the clown make-up, ball gowns and jewelry. It would show people that she has a renewed sense of confidence. In her behaviour, she would do well to act with the confidence of someone in control of their life and artistry: out with the fluttering eyelids, touching of the hair, touching of the silicone bags and an end to the demure princess type of approach. Assertion of herself as a powerful and honorable woman would have people respecting her again. She needs to leave desperate sexiness behind. I think her age is too far down the line for her to pull that behaviour off now. And definitely, in attitude, she would do well to lose the victim status and speak with positivity and be inspiring. Once upon a time she had this all down to a T but for the best part of a decade she has lost her way. I hope this is all instruction that RocNation is giving her. Then, who knows? Perhaps she will not languish in musical obscurity any longer. The public are unforgiving but might re-award credibility if lessons are learned.

Re: New album title (82,035) (82,049) by Andrew from UK
It's very interesting that the US and UK music markets, and cultures even, are so close and linked, but there are things that never quite translate. Janet Jackson was never big in the UK. "Together Again" and "All For You" were huge. Aside from that, nothing. Even worse for Toni Braxton, she had that one song way back when. That's all she is known for. Mariah was always top 10 in the 90's in the UK without much promotion - if any at all. And in the world of 90's pop and the domination of Britpop and actual pop like the Spice Girls and so forth, this was a feat. It was a decade of one-hit-wonders and the most nonsense of acts, interspersed with great songs, mind. She was always popular, she was always liked in this decade. She sold internationally on the quality of her music and the respect people had for her. I know people say "Oh you just want to live in the 90's". But, what would be so wrong with that? It was amazing. However, Mariah did okay in the Noughties. The ridiculous absurdity has been since 2012ish. The damage done is immeasurable.

Not sure that the promotion of drugs is suitable for a site that minors can access. And besides, anyone who smokes weed is a certified loser. Including Mariah, if she does it. Especially when God gave you that lottery ticket voice. Nobody sane would tear the ticket up.

Re: New album title (82,040) (82,047) by Andrew from UK
Tonight, England loves Illinois. Obvious references aside, "Polarity" also signifies diametric opinions on something which is a theme that runs through Mariah's music: "Is hate you but I love you" and so on... an internal debate about the right course of action. And it just sounds cool. Bit I must agree with Eddie, she will surely call it something like "Pretentious self-referential musings of a person who is pretty on the right hand side".

And like you. Still not working on that sense of humour, I see. Not to worry, gives you time to work upon your personality instead. Les Pays-Bas, nuls point.

Call them out? What does it have to do with you? This is typical lamb/mob mentality: "agree with us and tow the line or we will come for you". More's the pity. Some people on this board are level headed and interesting. The majority are quite maladjusted idiots. Like you.

Re: Stella the confused (81,953) (81,971) by Andrew from UK
That is actually a very good point. If the situation was so threatening, the reasonable person wouldn't expose minors to it. This is all going to boil fown to what evidence she has and if Mariah can deflect it. I would hypotheisise that it will never see its day in court and that Stella just wrote herself a cheque for a few million. I do, though, think Stella did struggle with Mariah, I do not think it all nonsense. At 2:20 you can clearly see in the mirror someone hovering at the bottom of the stairs which looks like Stella. Mariah and the cameraperson hesitate. When they do go down the stairs Mariah pauses at the corner as if to not want to see the person in case they are there. I think Stella probably tried to prevent this from happening but Mariah was so manic and out of it she could not. If you have ever been around a person who is manic it is very unsettling and unfortunately does make you wary and distrusting.

It was directed at the moderator of the board with whom I have joked about the competition before. If you can't keep up with the conversation, best not to join in. And I know you're Dutch so there is not much in life to laugh about but go get a sense of humour? It's a competition. You're supposed to back your own and be competitive lol mind you, you're not half as batty as Victoria whose response befits a 14 year old girl with daddy issues.

Re: Stella the confused (81,938) (81,942) by Andrew from UK
You are confused, also. You can be, both at once, aggrieved at breach of contract and sexual harrassment. You have the right to have a contract to which you are a party fulfilled if you aren't in breach and also be treated in a lawful manner for the length of that contract. In your version, a arbitrator could decide: "You shouldnt have been dismissed but you think your boss is an asshole so it shouldnt bother you. Nuls points." Which is ludicrous. Speaking of nuls points, the Eurovision Song Contest doth approach, and the Netherlands entry doth suck. Just thought I'd mention that. Not that anybody reading this is Dutch and pays attenton to that competition. Le Royaume-uni, douze points

Re: Damizza spills tea (81,934) (81,936) by Andrew from UK
For crying out loud, true to say that nobody knows exactly who it is about. Some people think it is about Nick (like you), some people think it is about Damizza (like William) and some people think it's such a shite song anyway that nobody should really give two sugary shits (like me).

Money and sense (81,925) by Andrew from UK
I would say it is blindingly apparent that Mariah will pay Stella off with a few million. If there is even the slightest risk that she may lose, Mariah would surely be advised to do so given her overtly sexual and inappropriate behaviour - which has oft been documented in video: for sexual inappropriateness, see video of Mariah flashing in her dressing gown; for not medicating herself, see video of Mariah maniacally and running from room to room demonstrating alarming behaviour. Were she to fight the action and lose she will forever be branded a sexual harasser, she will be finished for good and her whole career tarnished in a #StellaToo moment. I would imagine Stella watched the shit-show happening and documented everything with alacrity whilst inside she was dancing, setting herself up for the day when the love affair was over. But is Stella as bad or worse than many other people? So-called "thirsty" people are always going to milk the cow. In such a litigious society as the US everyone is out for everyone else's money at all costs. Mariah happens to have a lot of money and very little common sense so is a prime target. And for this I pity her. It is good for her that she has children, but how can she possibly have any friends?

Re: New album title (81,873) (81,882) by Andrew from UK
"Polarity". Mariah should continue to embrace the current narrative and make the album relevant. It would also instantly make it the most talked about album in the world rather than its fading into instant obscurity. And it sounds cool.

Frau Lila, what a lovely, intellectual response. How wonderfully insightful. Tanaka is a loser because, well, you, like um, just, like say so, or whatever. And he is a professional dancer to international superstars without having any dancing skills. And he and Mariah, who are in a long term relationship, are not so. And that's according to your ass. Lovely lovely lovely. Unfortunately for you, people who use that body part for communication are always, without exception, talking shite. Which is also what they have for brains.
