You definitely came with a receipt and reiterated by Billboard. Now does that number mean other than what it says is the question. But, wow.

I threw it because I knew you would. But let's try to "be best" in the new year. We have a whole nut in the Casa Blanca, there is so much more to consider like WWIII.

Might be a good time to take a break and for her to craft new music. She does have all those extra dependents to clothe and feed though, so we might see the same cycle as the last few years.

Re: Article: "All I Want" accounts for most of Mariah's yearly sales (92,035) (92,037)
by RibbonB from USA

He was definitely being snarky and he did make some mistakes on the date, etc. But that song does account for the majority of her yearly music sales. She was smart I capitalize on its anniversary in 2019. It was a mistake for her to try to crunch Caution in last year before the holiday rush to AIWFC. But now Mimi can move into her next project unless she wants to start a justice for Caution campaign. And by reliable reports AIW earns the writers 600k annually, each. That's a whole lot in any economy, especially one where music sales barely cover artists expenses and where continuous touring is needed for them to gain or retain wealth.

I agree. Ellen And Mariah have been friends over the years. I do think Ellen like Oprah try to call Mimi on her bs sometimes. Mimi has avoided those shows for the most part, since Stella and "rentboy" came on board.

Walter was so flip floppy and passive aggressive throughout the whole article. He gets the credit he deserves from the label and from Mariah. He gets paid and Mimi owes him nothing else. She does the continuous annual promotion of the song, he just sits back and wants her limelight which he will never get and does not deserve. Now the numbskulls do need to just ignore him, but without that he wouldn't have any attention. Let him go out and perform the song and generate interviews for himself if he wants attention.

I'm so glad Roc got to meet his favorite in person. Roe too of course. Roc is so cute fanning out over Millie Bobby Brown. He also mentioned her when Nick had R and R on live cooking pizza. They really are smart kids. It's nice that the kids and their interests allow Mimi to engage more with other artists and personalities like Marshellow.

Yes gurl, I've been feeling angst about this book project from day one and then now showing his hand in it, says she's still in mess mode. Andy may be a fan, but he's also a fool.

I felt the same thing, just tried to sound neutral about it, but I too detect a mess. Will this just be a reality show book? Will anyone but die-hard lambs buy it?

So it seems Mimi's memoirs are being published by Andy Cohen Books. Not impressive, but I hope it's worth her time and effort.

I know I can just imagine him running thru the dark as Mimi sings her exuberant outro to the song. Lmao. I love the creativity on the internets. I think the full length is out there I just first saw this snippet though.

Right, because you even during Divas Live 98 or 99, she knew not to engage too far with Aretha and Celine should've known better. . It's really not Mariah's style for whatever reason.

To be fair, this was the Legends gospel brunch. I think it was more the setting than about the voice. Remember it was Patti, Shirley Ceasar, Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, etc ad libbing. I don't blame her for being nervous, but how wonderful if she had grabbed it and went off. They did shade Ashanti during the podcast though.

Here's an excerpt from his book about Whitney, that includes a story about how Whitney and Mariah first met and their subsequent friendship. I didn't start well, but they worked it out. He didn't tell this story during the podcast though.

Legends Ball (91,072)
by RibbonB from USA
| |

I recently listened to a great interview with Be Be Winans on Jemele Hill Unbothered. Be Be provided some funny backstory on the Legends Ball. You can easily listen to it on Spotify. He made a funny Mariah mention. He said that during the passing of the mic, Mimi gave him a look of terror, "Like please pass me by. Don't hand it to me." In general if you like music or gospel music it's a great interview. Be Be addressed his memoirs and was very forthcoming about his strengths and he weaknesses. We will see if Mimi does the same. His sister CeCe is still one of the best singers ever, with a still pristine voice.
