Mop the Floor song (104,108) by enwar00 from usa
I guess despite being an emotionless stiff she still has humor.

It's time (103,929) by enwar00 from usa
I'm on YouTube waiting for the premiere of the new It's Time video. There's some sci-fi orchestral music playing with graphics and even this is cool. Coupled with the anticipation may end up being cooler than the actual video.

Torn (103,776) by enwar00 from usa
I am torn as well. I've seen Mariah every time she's come to Chicago, from Music Box through Caution, and part of me wants to keep the streak going. But I already saw her Christmas show at the Beacon Theater during its second year in 2015, which may have been the best year for it voice wise. Also, ticket prices have become ridiculous post-COVID, so that turns me off and makes me tired of playing that game. Lastly, based on the most recent videos, I'm not sure if it's even worth it. With that said, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the Christmas special that aired last year, so maybe she'll pull some miracle and it'll sound good. So, yes, I'm also torn. Perhaps I'll watch last year's show off my DVR early December and decide then.

Mariah just released a new visualizer for It's a Wrap. I'm sure everyone will love it.

Workin' Hard (103,367) by enwar00 from usa
Reminds me of Long Ago. The beat overall, but especially her low vocals during the first verse. Feels like a precursor to that song.

It's here (103,365) by enwar00 from usa
I agree. As a whole, I'm loving All I Love For in this extended version. To me it instantly sounded so much better than that cropped up Rarities version.

Clivillés and Cole (103,335) by enwar00 from usa
Haha it's funny because the past couple weeks I've been listening to my Seduction album that they made just before they hooked up with Mimi. To be honest I never realized she held Music Box this dearly to her. Thought she thought it was too basic or something. Then was almost thinking this is getting such a better treatment with the re-release because it's her highest seller. I guess I may be wrong.

Disc two (103,334) by enwar00 from usa
I did see a tracklisting for the cassette that has Everything Fades Away as track 11. Well there you go. I had no idea that disc 2 was this stacked with goodies. Puts that Butterfly re-release to shame honestly. Didn't even think about buying this, but now I definitely want it. Thank you for the info.

Mariah's version (103,098) by enwar00 from usa
That Love Story acoustic performance is just beautiful, one of my faves, so short and sweet, forgot about it. Can you believe that was 15 years ago? That was a long time ago. I feel like a different person. Looking back now, an acoustic remake album would've been super cool. And she was still in her 30s. Now she's in her 50s. That's a big difference. Maybe her voice just wasn't meant to last. Maybe she's just enjoying her life and kids and hundreds of millions of dollars now. Personally I'm bored of the Christmas stuff. I loved Caution. I guess that was the last album. I'll go play it now. Never say never. Bye.

It's a Wrap live (102,165) by enwar00 from usa
Remember when Mariah performed It's a Wrap live on the George Lopez Tonight show? Rewatching it now, Mariah killed it. She was still on fire in 2009 and 2010. I remember being blown away during the Angels Advocate show, thinking she sounded better than during the Adventures of Mimi tour. And of course MCIIY came later that year, which I love the vocals on as well as the Christmas special she did while pregnant. Maybe it is the booze.

The queen stays on top (102,020) by enwar00 from usa
It really is amazing. And it's exciting knowing that this Holiday season she just moved 4 weeks closer to eventually reclaiming her record of having the song with the most weeks atop the Hot 100, this time with a solo song.

Cheers to 2023 (101,987) by enwar00 from usa
That voice I first heard in my childhood still touched me leading up to this Christmas. Mariah has been such a big part of my life, and I think I can speak for other people as well, and I smurfing love her. Cheers to 2023 MCA Lambily. Love ya lots.

Early prediction (101,986) by enwar00 from usa
Wow Edward, that's insane. I think Christmas Eve and Day are the only 2 out of the 7 days that make up this chart week that the song benefited from, so for it to stay at #1 just based on that is crazy to me. I guess those monstrous streaming numbers that AIWFCIY is able to pull, breaking daily records on Spotify and elsewhere 28 years after it was released, are just that monstrous. Honestly even if it doesn't stay at #1, congrats and hats off to Mariah for still breaking records this far into her unparalleled career.

The Star live (101,936) by enwar00 from usa
So my dahling friend and fellow lamb Chris sent me this beautiful live performance of The Star from 2018. She sounds amazing to me, almost unbelievable how different she sounded just 4 years ago. Although that makes me think of some recent messages on here that stated never count her out, her voice can always come back. Also very touching and sweet interaction between her and Monroe.

Whoopi Goldberg mocks Mariah (101,909) by enwar00 from usa
Lol I also thought she looked like Patti as well. I did think she looked good with the blonde and red jumpsuit despite whatever shade may have been thrown.

Through the Rain live (101,893) by enwar00 from usa
So nice to see footage from the Charmbracelet world tour. Through the Rain continues to grow on me this many years later. The message and lyrics are beautiful, and the fact that the song is somewhat underrated somehow make them even more so.

Miss You Most (At Christmas Time) (101,778) by enwar00 from usa
Matty that's awesome to hear. So glad you and your friends had that experience, thank you for sharing. Magical is such a perfect word to describe it all. I've been stuck at home with COVID this past week (blessed and lucky with very mild symptoms) but it gave me time to decorate for Christmas. Merry Christmas and MCIIY have been the soundtracks, and I really feel something magical that comes through, something extra special from the rest of her amazing catalogue. About to put on the All I Want For Christmas Is You movie and keep working on the tree.
