I'm fine with her catering to Adult Contemporary and R&B radio and the lambs at this stage in her career. We suggested she work with most of the producers she worked with on Caution and make the changes to the setlist she made so I'm certain she's either a member of this board or at the very least monitors it. Earlier remakes (e.g. Journey's "Open Arms") mostly appealed to pop listeners, but as the new millennium was approaching, Carey segued into covering lesser-known R&B classics. This DJ Clue-helmed track is one of the rare instances in Mimi's catalogue when the remix completely outshines the original production. How she lost almost every female vocal performance Grammy she was nominated for in her prime was insane. She was untouchable in her prime and again ten years later in 2005 until 2009. If she does half of the album should be covers of traditional hymns and the other half should be originals like My Saving Grace, Fly Like A Bird, and I Wish You Well.
