She's still a favorite diva but after this round of fall and holiday season tour dates are done, I hope she takes a minimum two year break. Enjoy those kids. Iconic Mariah ward show moments (84,619) by RibbonB from USA This was a really great award show moment. I loved Mimi in full color and everything else in black and white. Maybe we can expect a stylized moment like this tonight with her new video . Mariah is so cute but funny in "kaniption" mode with her hand going wild. Maybe she will sing With You to a backdrop of the video during the AMA show. Then perhaps have it available immediately for viewing. That could be something. Your comments are silly, considering you could have just watched the interview to see why he mentioned her and in what context. If someone is speaking on their life and career in a one hour interview they are bound to come up. Just as Mariah mentions Nick in major interviews. Only pictures were shown of all three kids. But the fact remains to the original poster that he has a right to talk about it as part of his life story. And calling it mind games, just might mean these little worry warts feel threatened by his truth. And he really didn't say anything new, that any fan during 2008 hadn't already heard, but it's part of his story. He's sad, she's happy, or vice versa, we only know what they say. I wish them both well. Is Mimi over it, she still writes petty songs about it. GTFO is not about James, when he told her to GTFO his tugboat. But anyway, Mimi says nice things about their present relationship and co parenting in her interviews and he does the same. So where's the mind games in that? If other outlets picked up in the Mimi portion, it just means there is still interest in that, despite what either one is currently doing. (Monday 8 October 2018; 02:11)

They talk about his childhood, career, children, etc. The Mimi segment is one part of it and at the end of it he says that they are good just how they are now. So he's been over it and has said many times that there is no going back. Some of you fans are so insecure about anything he says, lol. Sure there is plenty that he can say, but he's been gracious enough not to. (Sunday 7 October 2018; 13:50)

It's been stated, suggested, implored, many times over many years, in my case, that Mimi should let others write for her. I wish she would. A way to ease into that is an album of covers, but surely she feels too young for that. But there are great writers and teams who I'm sure would, could craft her some gems. And yes I'm sure she could add her signature arrangements and lyrics to make them her own. I believe she did that with Miguel's Beautiful. Mimi likes to do things her way, within her bubble.
