The Voice (85,300) by B from USA Mariah will be mentoring contestants from each team. At least that's the impression I got after watching an interview with Kelly Clarkson. Mariah best moments on Idol were with Kelly. Loving the clip The Voice shared of Mariah interacting with the coaches and contestants. Mariah is engaging, funny, and most importantly likeable. However, during Stella's reign of terror instead of paying homages to Marilyn, Mariah seemed like she was parodying her. If they heard #Beautiful they assumed it was a Miguel song featuring Mariah Carey. We complain about the poor performances of YM(E), Infinity, I Don't but each single charted on the Hot 100 and did well on the R&B charts. We also complain about GTFO, which wasn't an official single, not charting on the Hot 100 but it wasn't expected to. The fact that it managed to debut on the R&B & Hip-hop Digital Sales chart is impressive. With You is doing well. It reached #23 on the Adult Contemporary chart, #22 on the Adult R&B Songs chart, and #22 on the Hot R&B Songs chart. Far from the failure some would lead you to believe it is. She paid for one of her former background singer, Deborah Cooper, to get an experimental treatment for cancer and she hired JD as her manager during his bankruptcy drama. The question was why do you continue to follow Mariah if she embarrasses you or has consistently let you down since 1997 or 2008? For every positive message you write there are hundreds of negative ones. You don't like her new music and you haven't liked any of her recent releases so why not find an artist who makes music you enjoy? It seems odd not to, does it not? Bundle works by including a free copy of an artist's latest album with the purchase of either a single ticket or pair to said artist's upcoming tour. I hope she works with Calvin Harris or Skillarex. I want to hear her sing over a current beat. I imagine it would sound like an updated version of her collaborations with C+C Music Factory and David Morales. I wish she'd remix Meterotie with resung vocals with Morales and release it to tide us over until the new album or single is released. Or the unreleased #Beautiful remix.
