Super Bowl (110,835) by Dove from United States If it's going to be bad, I don't want it either. But if they're going to put thought and effort into it, it could be huge for her career. Not everyone is invited to play at the Super Bowl. What comes to mind is the medley she did when she was a judge on American Idol. It wasn't good. But those songs are old and she can't sing them anymore. Maybe if she did some of her newer, up-beat songs it would sound better. She looks really good right now, so that's half the battle for a woman in show business. It's only like 15 minutes. I think they can swing it. It would have to be a group effort though. I like these songs. (But for Fantasy just the sample of Genius of Love and the background singers can sing the chorus before it jumps to the next song. That one is only added in for the nostalgia.) (I just looked it up and George Martin passed in 2016, but maybe someone on par with him. ) If the background music and show sounds good, and it's entertaining to watch, she wouldn't need to dance. Not that anyone expects her to. If it's going to be a lazy effort with the same old slow songs we've already seen a million times, then yeah, Taylor Swift should definitely do it. Release and promote Sugar Sweet album version (solo) (110,820) by Rashidi Rahim Rick from Malaysia From the album tracklist I'm sure the song is Mariah's solo version. So now that we have about less than 1 month from the album release, might be good idea to release the album version with a proper video on the beach with her and her male dancers (shirtless) doing choreographer. We all know Mariah doesn't want anymore female dancers. For that VMA performance, Mariah should be doing medley of Type Dangerous/Sugar Sweet/Here For It All. Imagine the climax ending of the performance where Mariah belt the "here for it all" and the music stop to make it like acapella. We don't need her hits medley because it won't sound good. Refer her medley at Billboard Awards 2019. That medley performance should be deleted. She was shaky and crack and nervous. Come on Mariah and Gamma. Do it right this time. One long month (110,807) by T from USA What's worse is there has only been one music video in almost five months. That is so not like Mariah. I hope she wasn't forced into releasing an album before she is ready to really undertake the amount of promotion it takes. I've been seeing that Amazon pre-orders is currently only at 1,200 albums pre-sold in the USA. Add the 5,000 that it will due on iTunes and that is going to be a very low first week debut. A hit song sells an album, and unfortunately she doesn't have that. Word of mouth will be an uphill battle for her, the only hope is the MTV VMA's turns it all around for her. I hope everyone is taking a second out of their day to vote for Mariah and Type Dangerous on MTV.com for the VMA's. That second award could go a long way in helping her get the word out about upcoming music. (Friday 29 August 2025; 19:36)

I feel like MC was heartbroken because of Nick and after watching the E reality show a few times I don't think Stella was a good influence or had the best intentions for her. MC the GOAT (110,806) by Edward from USA I've never liked the constant blame game, it's always someone else's fault but Mariah's. Framing a powerful, intelligent, and successful woman as if she's perpetually helpless is just another way of infantilizing her. Mariah has been steering her career for decades now. An artist in "shackles" wouldn't have been allowed to put out a video openly mocking her label's head like that. Yes, Tommy was controlling and evil at some point, but she also built a thriving career and life beyond him. Mariah has always been an active participant in her own story, it's not as if Nick and Stella just happened to her. Even when she was only 19, she was making choices, and now at 56, with years of experience and every tool at her disposal, she continues to do so. The woman have human walking sticks for heaven sake. All of her life's lessons have shaped her into the woman she is today: an icon, not a victim. So, however this show plays out, good or bad, she's part of it. (Friday 29 August 2025; 18:52)

Super Bowl (110,762) by Dove from United States I saw an article that Mariah may perform at the Super Bowl halftime show this year. I'm not sure if it's true but it got me thinking about what songs I think would be best to perform. I remember when The Who performed. That was a lot of people's introduction to them and they are a great band. A lot of us became fans after that performance. I really think she should drop the songs she normally does. They're great songs but they kind of put her in "relic" territory and people who don't follow her like we do probably think she doesn't have any other good songs. When she has so many good songs. I think she should do happy up-tempo songs that could have been hits. Make it a party. For starters we need a live band. Songs sound better with a live band. The songs need to blend seamlessly. If she needs a big choir to make her sound better - get one. I don't blame her for not having the same voice she had at 35 but she looks 35 so people still expect her to sound like she did in her prime. She needs to do whatever to sound good. Smoke and mirrors if we have to. Please choose a good outfit. I like the sparkly blue and purple one with the tall silver boots she wore to Brighten Pride. It was festive and flattering. We don't need a hundred outfit changes - just one really good outfit. (I would like a diamond encrusted headband, too, but that probably wouldn't happen.) The songs have to sound good. GTFO video (110,735) by Dove from United States GTFO video gives me Peggy Bundy vibes. I would have liked the video better if she was in a trailer park. Like Taylor Swift in You Need to Calm Down kind of trailer park but not as nice. Or the one Becky lived in with her husband on Roseanne. The house she was in was too nice for the ensemble. There also needed to be a bunch of cigarette butts in an ashtray next to her and she needed to be chain smoking Betty Draper style and drinking boxed wine. Then she could have gone outside and smoked another one while leaning forward onto a waist height chain link fence. Then looking up at the sky trying to rise above it all. (The situation with the guy who needs to GTFO.) I would have liked the outfit better if her top was just a teensy bit higher and covered her cleavage just a tiny bit more. (Sorry if this is not PC. #Beautiful video (110,734) by Dove from United States I really want to like the #Beautiful video because I love the song but it's so awkward to watch. And I hate to say it but cringe. Which is weird because the video is technically good. It looks like art. It's just... her poses and facial expressions don't look natural. Neither do Miguel's. It's funny because she looks better in the behind the scenes making the video footage than in the actual video. I really wish they would go back and rework that one. I agree she does need someone to help her but after the abusive conservatorship I doubt she trusts anyone. People have really not done right by Britney. I don't think Mariah is like Britney, though. Mariah just looks super fatigued. I am going to pray for both of them to be protected from evil vultures who are out to dim their light and steal their wealth. What's wrong with MC (110,690) by Edward from USA Did you see the video Britney posted on social media? She was dancing wildly with two huge knives, and the police ended up at her door. While I don't think she should lose all control over her life and finances, it's clear that some kind of support system should be in place to protect her from herself. Sadly, Mariah seems to be in a similar situation, she doesn't appear to have many people around her who truly care for her, even if the "hen" stops laying golden eggs. (Sunday 24 August 2025; 17:47)

I don't like the video for I Don't but what I really liked about it is her makeup. It's the best it's ever looked IMO. I like her outfits in the video for Say Somethin' the most. Wing beneath my wings (110,687) by Dove from United States I was thinking about that song Wind Beneath My Wings. Someone sang it at a talent show when I was a kid and it always stuck with me. Mariah, if she ever does get another serious romantic partner, needs someone who is going to be the wind beneath her wings. I say "if" she does because I've noticed in myself and some of my friends as we get older, we feel less of a need for one. Maybe she feels the same. I like how Kelly Ripa's husband took a backseat to her career and focused more on being a husband and father rather than chasing the spotlight. She needs someone who is going to accept she is a very bright star and isn't going to try to block her light. Tanaka seemed like he could be that but then I didn't like how he was pretty much asking for both jackets at Balmain when his luggage was lost on her reality show. I get that when you're dating someone rich they can afford to spoil you but they weren't even dating yet. It was a reality show, so maybe it was all staged. Ew which reminds me of the annoying little daughter of the manager. When we said her team needed the young kids to tell us what's cool I meant the cool kids. Tirzepatide (110,685) by Dove from United States I just remembered I was on Tirzepatide for a few months earlier this year (to help me lose a few pounds) and I was so tired. When I wasn't at work I just wanted to be at home laying down. I wasn't getting good sleep so I was always tired anyway, even though I was "resting" so much. A lot of celebrities are using weight loss injections right now so it could be that. I didn't even want to clean. My one meal a day was take-out so I wouldn't have to clean the kitchen, it was that bad. (Sunday 24 August 2025; 13:22)

What's wrong with MC (110,684) by Dove from United States I kind of wish she would be open and transparent about what's going on with her so we would know she's not being drugged against her will like Brian Wilson and Britney Spears were. It could be nothing but it could be something. My ADHD got a lot worse when I hit perimenopause. Maybe something like that happened with her too. I haven't seen her with a champagne glass in her hand all the time like during the Infinity era. A lot of people with mental health issues (I guess, I don't know what to call it) self-diagnose with alcohol, and sometimes other drugs, so this is not me blaming her for liking her splashes or anything. I want to mind my own business but (almost) everyone minded their business with Brian Wilson and Britney Spears for so many years and look what that did to their brains. I hope she's just tired because she hit menopause, or some medication she's taking (with good benefits that outweigh the bad) is making her lethargic. If she came out and said it, we wouldn't need to be worried. And yes, I know she's a celebrity but some of us have been following her since childhood and she feels more like a family member than a stranger. She's given a lot to the world. I'm glad Brian Wilson found a sweet partner to take care of him in the 90's up until he died this year. I wish Nick would have been that for Mariah instead of the self-serving narcissist he turned out to be. How disappointing. Selena Gomez came out and talked about the changes in her weight and demeanor being caused by medication she needed. I don't follow her super closely or anything but I remember seeing her talking about it and it made me feel more at ease about the changes in her personality. Like, at least there's a legit reason. The video for With You should have been her performance at the 2018 VMA's in the gorgeous pink dress and the men dancing. (In my opinion, of course.) I would have loved if they would have made a MV of her performance of The Distance on the Tonight Show with the sparkly pink dress. They don't all need to be high budget. People are so toxic (110,651) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter The Bee Hive is insane when it comes to defending Beyoncé and while yes definitely they should step aside and let Mariah have her moment I will have to say, Beyoncé is a strong visual artist. Keep in mind she released 2 fully visuals albums with very high concept and high budget videos. With that being said why are they pissed? Didn't Beyoncé already get the video vanguard? Music video idea (110,661) by Dove from United States I just came up with a video idea. Not saying it's award worthy or anything - just an idea. It's for Betcha 'Gon Know. They could hire an actress that looks like a young her. But a lot like her, like Blake Lively and Isabela Ferrer in It Ends With Us. So the younger actress could be acting out the scene in the song while Mariah does her glamour pose/singing scenes. I know that album was ages ago, and this is not going to happen, but I come here because MC reality is suspended for me and I can share my dreams and creative visions freely. How can she, in good conscience, even accept that honor? Does she even deserve all those Grammys she has? She has a great voice, and some great songs, but is she actually the producer? Taylor Swift (110,488) by Lambi from USA I'm so happy to hear that. Blake Lively is despicable. She tried to threaten Taylor Swift by saying, "I'm going to leak ten years of your messages if you don't stand up for me." Taylor is going to flex her empire hard. I've also been following the lawsuit, so knowing that she's preparing to clap back is exciting. I also became a fan of Scott Swift, her dad, in the process. When he heard about the threats, he immediately gave the information to the opposing team, so now they have evidence of Blake Lively's extortion attempt. I love it. It made me wish Mariah had a protective father figure like that throughout her life. Maybe she wouldn't be so damaged and wouldn't be the blow-up doll she is today, if she had consistently felt deeply loved by a father since she was a child. (Thursday 14 August 2025; 15:03)

Wicked for Good (110,487) by Dove from United States A lot of people will probably watch Wicked for Good. It's too bad filming already wrapped or MC could have made a cameo. They could use one of her songs at the end, while the credits are running, like they did with Oz the Great and Powerful. Anytime You Need a Friend - C&C Club Version. Or the version that sounds super jazzy... is it the string-a-pella one? That one is super long so it would need to be cut down a bit. I bet everyone would want their project associated with a living legend if asked. They could do the video with scenes from the movie like they did with Almost Home and have MC dripped in jewels like a fictional/alternative good witch who doesn't appear in the movie. She could lip-sync some parts of the song like she did in the Almost Home video. (Everyone lip-syncs in music videos so haters can't hate.) I don't think this song would be a #1 but it would garner attention. People would remember, or be introduced to, one of the reasons Mariah is a legend. Her voice.
