Article: Mariah Carey's twins embarrassed by fame? (78,331)
by RibbonB from USA
| |
|
|
I hope this story isn't true, but their might be some truth to it. On every intro she does of them singing ABMB with her, she always says that she is not sure it they are going to come out, like there is no control of how they will behave. Yeah, they are little kids and could be napping or whatever, but I always wondered why she made it seem like she wasn't even sure if they were going to arrive on time. I don't know what the deal is, but for the kids' sake, less might be more. Anyway, All the Hits tour is done, but here comes Christmas.

Insecure (78,292)

This show in HBO is everything. Mimi would be smart and lucky if she could showcase a new song on this hot show. Raphael Saadiq runs the music for this show and he could be another great collaborator to work with Mimi. I wonder if Mimi watches the show, with its very timely storyline about a bad breakup and the fallout in the aftermath. I love how they are showing the progression of the lead character's "f up" and her acting out while in denial phase. The final blow up in lead up to the season finale was epic. Here is hoping for a cathartic season finale and another great show playlist. After last sunday's show I kept thinking of Mariah's song Cry.

I know, the debunk story had more lies and inaccuracies than the original story. Its clear she is being petty and manipulative by wearing that silly ring.

Gossip Cop and their debunked stories are dumber than the stories they purport to debunk. Mimi has been sewn countless times with that dumb ring on her middle finger and regularly with the hired hand. She probably is being petty about it, but the general public doesn't give a hoot about it.

She sounds good so far. I live the original and she doesn't detract from it. Let's hope she brings Sven more t the table on the complete remix.

Ledisi (78,070)
by RibbonB from USA

Wow, Ledisi slayed her new song "High" last night on Black Girls Rock. I absolutely love the song. The band and arrangement were beyond great. Mariah should seek vocal coaching and a little showmanship coaching from Ledisi, on the low of course. I would definitely love if she and Ledisi would co write a song.

Yes, and that is why so many fans are worried about her. Very telling for her to admit that, while in the midst of her current fiasco of "friends". Their favorite refrain of "she knows what she is doing" should be glaringly wrong, but they won't see it that way. Obviously she is never clear about what she is doing.

Mariah Page Six interview (78,029)
by RibbonB from USA
| |
|
|
So Mimi is in a recent Page Six interview talking about having low self esteem. She seems to relate that to whether or not people mean the flattering things they say to her and about deserving the same respect as others. Of course she deserves respect. Wish she could learn self respect and tie that showing more respect of herself rather than tying her esteem to what others say of her. Self esteem is esteem for one's self as self respect is respect for ones self. I will never get why she would deliberately act the "dumb ass" with her own self produced reality show then wonder why many didn't respect the results. Just reading that reaffirms that she has low self esteem, but also poor discernment skills, which leaves her vulnerable to sycophants and always doubtful, especially when they can't deliver the flattery 24/7, or when she gets bored or doubtful.

Because many of those commenting don't really care who she dates, it's all about a look to them, not reality.

So said AEG, Pat Houston and other profiteers and pilferers right before. I would rather know she was happy, healthy and enjoying her kids rather than working to feed freeloaders and "thirstbots". Speaking of Stella, dancer and crew, Stella reminds me of that Russian mafia chick on the show "Claws". She forces the lead character to launder money from her nail salon. Aren't Stellar and the diva opening a nail joint soon? Mimi, get out!

It might not be harming them, but they both seem over it lately. Perhaps let them have a break and bring them up for very special moments. Roc always looks like he would rather be ordering stuff from Amazon.

Her relationship with her brother seems totally broken. I wonder why he took that route of selling her out? If you are not her brother, you certainly campaign on his behalf. And where is Shawn/Lannister? He gives himself away.

Lol maybe he will want to take another real dancing job elsewhere. Or she will find her "A Rod" to fill the role. Her pickings are slim these days. Remember all that "two alphas" crap when JP was around, that didn't last long. She went from so called alpha to lap dog. But whatever, she seems to set the stage for her continued "victimhood".

She is not using common sense. It's all about the step down, pay a dancer type of L. Like jlo and many others have done. Maybe it feels easier that way, than dealing with a real relationship where they may have to compromise. This way they pay for it to be all about them, until they get tired of paying, or the dude gets tired of the role.

Stella might also be pissed that Tanya essentially got promoted thereby usurping her sovereignty in Mimi's life. Mimi may have taken the James L due to Stella's meddling, but she probably drew the line at taking an L. With a paid for escort less than six months later, not even for the pleasure of Stella's company.

Too Fab may have been the only outlet to check on the matter with Stella Stell. It's interesting because Mimi did that big Complex interview last year, but Complex didn't follow up with Stellar to get her side of the story.

What shade did I throw at you? I did catch the shade to Tanya, I said he wasn't mentioned by name, which is even more shady and perfect for a hired dummy like Tanya. I did have a typo, share should have said shade in my original post.
