Wait I read she's been binging on Spaghetti Os and Pop Tarts.

Agreed. I love Daydream it was the first album I bought but Butterfly was and is her best album.

Mariah Carey announces new Christmas single (77,494) by B from USA
The Star sounds promising. However, is anyone else confused by this announcement? Why make the announcement in July? Also why is Mariah releasing a single for an animated Christmas movie that isn't hers?

Re: 5 current female acts you'd like Mimi to work with (77,492) (77,493) by B from USA
1. Alicia Keys
2. Beyonce
3. Tori Kelly
4. Taylor Swift
5. Adele
Disclaimer: I chose Taylor because she's a talented songwriter and I believe together they could write an amazing pop song.

When you purchases albums and singles on Amazon are you only allowed to download them once? Because I recently had to purchase a new laptop and Amazon won't let me download Rainbow, Glitter and Slipping Away and Do You Think of Me and it's driving me insane. Without those albums and bsides my collection is incomplete. I still can't believe out of every Mariah album someone stole Rainbow and Glitter.

Re: Mariah's Love Hangover is sexy (77,456) (77,458) by B from USA
It was a smart decision and she's slaying that intro. I think her current vocals give Love Hangover a depth her pristine 90 vocals couldn't. Mariah's voice has changed but I think the years of wear and tear have made her a more expressive vocalist.

The 150 greatest albums made by women (77,457) by B from USA
This article is a joke. Placing Daydream at #97 and omitting Butterfly entirely makes me question not only the author's taste but credibility. Lemonade is #6 I mean seriously?

New album (77,450) by B from USA
I really hope she experiments and works with different producers on this album. I hope she keeps JD's involvement to a minimal. She needs fresh ideas and beats if she wants to remain relevant and make a comeback. #Beautiful proved it can and does work so she should go for it. I think she should work with Mark Ronson.

If she keeps this up and releases an amazing album she just might be able to make a comeback.

Re: Natural (77,385) (77,399) by B from USA
I think she's stopped using fillers. Maybe she is a member of this board. We harped on and on about her using fillers and the affect they had on her face and now her face is back to looking normal, more natural.

Licia, I've always respected you and your opinions. I was undecided about seeing Girl's Trip but after reading what you wrote I've decided to see it. Much love and respect.

Re: Crying on stage (77,394) (77,397) by B from USA
I agree. If she was aware of the comments his fans made when the tour was announced she was undoubtedly overwhelmed by the crowds warm reception which seemed to put her at ease. She looked at home on stage instead of nervous.

Mariah Carey and Lionel Richie kick off epic tour (77,396) by B from USA
This is exactly what Mariah needed. She slayed according several reviews and more importantly fans of both her's and Lionel's. The set list was predictable but to be expected. Glad she traded the Vegas ensembles for more flattering ones.

Re: Do You Think of Me (77,353) (77,372) by B from USA
Mariah should write songs like Do You Think of Me, Slipping Away, and There For Mr for her new album. I'd also be happy with another summery Mowtown throwback like #Beautiful. I really hope she releases her new album this year. It's been three years since she released MIAM and even though I enjoyed Infinity and I Don't I want a classic Carey album with smile poetic lyrics. Mariah make another Butterfly or Daydream. I just want an album I can dissect down to every adlib and background vocal and whistle lol.

Re: Comeback (77,344) (77,355) by B from USA
Unfortunately you're right. She's fallen so far the only way left to go is up. At least I hope. I'm still hoping and praying that the Mariah we all know and love is still there behind the entourage and persona.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey performs in final Las Vegas residency show (77,349) (77,354) by B from USA
Agreed. She needs a new team. A new manager, rep, social media consultant, and a stylist. When all is said and done Stella will walk away with more money from these side projects than Mariah. Who'd managing her finances? Stella third cousin twice removed?

Re: Do You Think of Me (77,335) (77,353) by B from USA
I also haven't the song before but I love Do You Think of Me. Mariah's bsides, Do You Think of Me and Slipping Away, are stronger than a lot of artists lead singles and still sound fresh today.

It's a plan (77,331) by B from USA
I've heard and read countless times that Mariah creates conflict. However I highly doubt she has a plan. Or that Stella has a plan. Mariah needs to presented as a private music icon. She's not a reality star. She needs to focus solely on music and stop with the tv ventures. Mariah's legacy is secure it's her change at a comeback that's at stake. I would hate for her storied career to end with a string of disappointments. I'm hoping for the best with her upcoming Starz series. I hope Mariah and Stella only finance. I hope they do a good job casting Mariah. The casting of the actors, especially the actress playing a young Mariah. This casting will make or break this series. If the actress doesn't have talent it's dead.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey performs in final Las Vegas residency show (77,302) (77,303) by B from USA
Mariah needs a stylist. J.Lo is constantly relevant because of how she dresses. Her stylist is Rachel Zoe's former assistant so why not one up J.Lo and hire her stylist's mentor as her stylist.

Re: The truth (77,160) (77,179) by B from USA
The image of Celine upside down getting her vagina patted while thumping her chest and belting an orgasmic high note is now forever seared in my mind. Thanks for the nightmares, lol.
