Mariah didn't even get signed until 1988 and she would have been only 16 in 1986 so this doesn't even sound plausible. Not to mention Stand By Me would have been made at least in 1985 if it was released in 1986.

Mariah supposedly said she was bleeding money when she hired Stella based on the way she handled her previous team, or the way she claims that team handled her. But based on the way she is feeding Stella and her family, Stella and her coven of accountants and lawyers, they are probably sucking the rest of her blood dry, or are so tied into it that she may never be able to let go. Stella co-producing this AIWFC movie is just her attempt to tie into a song that is a perennial money maker for Mariah. Mariah is rich, but with two young dependents and a multitude of parasitic dependents like BT and the bat Stella and crew she has got to keep the dough rolling in for them.

Re: The fateful fall (from grace) (73,959) (73,962)
by RibbonB from USA

Seems like you hate to place the blame on Mariah. She is the only one responsible for her fall, or dancing on whatever you claim she was dancing on. She seems to do whatever she wants, in fact she is now taking credit for directing most of the videos that have been attributed to others. Mariah is the drinker and possible drug taker and Nick has no responsibility for that, nor does this current team, they in fact encourage that behavior and indulge in it with her. At least Nick allegedly encouraged her to get some help with her issues. Mariah can't even dance, so why she keeps trying and being lifted in every show, is all her own doing with the help of her hired hands, of course.

Remy Ma I Don't remix (73,953)
by RibbonB from USA
| |
|
|
This song never seemed to be about James based on the original lyrics and the YG verse, but Ok they let the public go with that. It doesn't even seem like Remy is rapping about the same song, or maybe she is, but this is just another layer of who/what the song is about. It's all so lame though, all of it. Remy sounded half dead and somebody should try to make sure any song/collaboration and remix at least has a cohesive theme. Or course if all of this is a round about way for her to keep talking about Nick, then she has a long way to go and a lot of work to do. Let's see what this Busta Rhyme fest brings.

Mariah's twitter mentions are in a shambles. The general response is this remix is trash. I didn't bother to listen. Oh well, at least Stellar is also getting the brunt of it. Oh and Areola Grandes is hilarious, too funny.

Did you happen to see Remy Ma on Empire last night? Interesting. I think Empire and Taraji are definitely team Remy. Her rap was wack, and she can barely dance, but it was a cool surprise moment. Now if Mariah and Remy had made a surprise move that would have been something. Lol. Mimi needs too much drama and fanfare for a surprise appearance though.

Re: Article: Mariah is turning "All I Want" into an animated movie (73,846) (73,879)
by RibbonB from USA

Mariah stays on the pulse of new music. She listens. I think she was just acting like she didn't know what "surfboardt" meant on the Breakfast Club Interview. She was still in her "married with twins, yet Mary Poppins phase" then. She merely did not want to discuss whether or not she engaged in that kind of physicality. Lol. She was also asked about Lemonade on WWHL, when it came, but she just played coy, not because she had not heard it, but because she didn't really want to discuss it. She said if Jay and Bey haven't said anything to her, then she was not going to speculate. But I do agree other things have to go through Stella the Bat's blood sucking filter.

Lol. Mariah never outsang Luther. He was being gracious and toning way down to blend better with her. They sang a proper duet on Endless Love. I also hope you are joking about Celine vs. Aretha, because Celine sounded like a cat in heat trying to keep up with the queen.

I believe it is being EP'd by Mariah and Crustella. I don't know if it is for theatrical release or straight to DVD/cable. I was surprised to know that her book about the song has sold 750,000 copies.

Ed Sheeran Shape of You (73,835)
by RibbonB from USA
| |
|

Well, Ed took a preemptive measure and his song now has three additional co-writers. The song sounds a lot like TLC's "No Scrubs", so now the co-writers of "No Scrubs" are also co-writers of Ed's song. Should be a nice pay day for reality stars Tiny and Kandy. Too bad he didn't credit them from the beginning, but maybe he borrowed subliminally.

New All I Want For Christmas animated movie (73,825)

Well I wish Mariah well with this project. She may be watering down the iconic brand of her song with this, but I hope it is cute anyway. I won't even shade Crusterella this post.

Re: Decades concept CD/90's R&B (73,767) (73,776)
by RibbonB from USA
| |
|

Speaking of 90's R&B, it really was an epic time for R&B, the 80's even better. I think the 1960's and 70's were the most iconic decades for R&B and music in general. Thank God for YouTube, now we have a chance to catch up on so many of the greats. A great theme project for Mariah would be to do covers of classic songs of the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's through the current time, or better yet for her to craft new songs herself or enlist top writers to craft songs for her in the style of those respective decades. If Swifty stole her idea, I hope she didn't have this one brewing, but she can use it if she'd like a challenge. Whatever she does next, I would love for it to include live instruments, live band, a couple with an orchestra, etc.

Tevin was never that big in the US, but he did have a couple of nice moderate hits. "Let Me Talk" or "Can We Talk" is pretty cool and his other big hit, I can't even recall the name. He had the support of Prince and Quincy Jones, but he fizzled after he crossed puberty.

Roc and Roe are always adorable. But the "leprechauns" though? I wonder where Miss Pat was? That green car was ugly AF, but Mariah's dress was kind of cute. At least it has been a rather quiet week, with limited drama. Crustella was ever present of course, looking like a bish from the play "Wicked".

Lol I read about that story and immediately thought Stella leaked it. Maybe she leaks, then debunks. Most fans really just want Mariah and family to be OK, nobody really cares about Stella and her "heroics".
