About B from USA: Slowly but surely®™ The Vindication of B ®™

Re: Nick (74,656) (74,657) by B from USA
If they do good for them, it would be in the best interest of the children. However, I don't think Mariah will take him back. Hasn't it been confirmed that he was the one who filed for divorce first? He made some poor decisions when speaking with the media but compared to what Stella has said and done it's nothing.

Re: On second thoughts (74,643) (74,645) by B from USA
I was in no way condoning Stella or trying to justify her as a manager by bringing up how many views the video has. Its views continue to increase and I don't know why. I tried to justify why in my last post but that just doesn't seem like enough when she's released far better songs and videos that have half of the amount of views I Don't has. #Beautiful only had like 34 million last time I checked and it was a hit.

Re: On second thoughts (74,588) (74,634) (74,644) by B from USA
I don't think actual fans are the ones watching. It's mostly men or people who are fans of Mr. Jones' who like that Mariah paid homage to him. I was watching Almost Home and thinking how does this video have less than 8 million views then I Don't came on and it has somehow amassed 17 million views.

Re: I Don't video (74,605) (74,617) by B from USA
I Don't was released like three months ago and has amassed more views than Triumphant, Infinity, and You're Mine. It's impressive considering how divided the fans are on the song and the video.

More than just friends (74,578) by B from USA
Mariah gifted her manager a $30k Louis Vuitton trunk? Seriously? What has she done to earn this type of bonus? Hopefully this is a classy parting gift.

Re: Mariah the songwriter (74,550) (74,558) by B from USA
Infinity was written by five people. Mariah probably wrote the verses and let the other four handle everything else.

Re: Mariah the songwriter (74,513) (74,545) by B from USA
Mariah doesn't need a cowriter for her lyrics, she writes her best lyrics she she writes alone. I don't care if she interpolates a sample or two into a song but she doesn't need several other cowriters like Crystal who like JD seems to be stuck creatively in the mid 2000's.

You're Mine (Eternal), Infinity, and I Don't have all charted. With better promotion and execution (and material) she could easily score another hit. Especially since it finally seems like LA and Epic have decided she's still a viable asset.

Move on. You're just repeating and regurgitating the same comments. I could've predict this comment but wait you get on my nerves and are predictable.

Re: Letting people write songs for Mariah (74,530) (74,542) by B from USA
I think Bruno and The Smeezingtons would be excellent for a 1990's Mariah throwback songs ala Someday. Or an epic ballad. When I Was Your Man is basically the male version of We Belong Together.

Re: LA Reid has no choice (74,531) (74,540) by B from USA
She needs the right promo not riding the subway in an evening gown or taking her children to the playground in a evening gown. She also needs to give straight forward answers when she's interviewed because she turns off a lot of people when she rambles.

Re: LA Reid (74,523) (74,526) by B from USA
I feel it as well. I think he wants an epic era for Mariah and for himself as well. Meagan Trainor's last album flopped. What better way to end his career by masterminding Mariah's comeback, the third act of her storied career. She looks amazing and she's been sounding amazing. She just need a to write R&B Pop songs like she did in 1995 and 1997 and add some current beats and some killer fill voiced singing. The return of the voice and the songwriter. Ed Sheran's #1 single samples TLC. The 90's are huge again and Mariah was the 90"s.

I could deal with another writer writing one or two songs but definitely not the entire album.

MIAMTEC (74,491) by B from USA
Once #Beautiful had reached #15 on the Hot 100 and #3 on the R&B chart Mariah should have performed it on every daytime talk show and late night show and the next single should have been Make It Look Good followed by Meteorite. The final single should've been YM(E) or One More Try. If the album had been released when #Beautiful was at #15 and getting massive airplay it would have sold well. But she injured herself and decided to basically shelf the album after it was released.

Re: New collaborators / berhana (74,470) (74,490) by B from USA
She's a songwriter she'll cover a song written by someone else but she won't sing (record) a song written solely by another writer. She'd cowrite a song with another writer and has in the past. She needs to collaborate with the writes writing the best Pop R&B. Like Bruno and his team, Frank Ocean, and Miguel and Happy Perez. If she does this she'll just be updating her signature sound without sounding desperately like she cowrote and coproduced MOAIA with Tricky and The Dream because they wrote Touch My Body her previous #1.

I thought YG's verses on I Don't complimented the song. Their Jimmy K performance was epic once he came back on stage and she seemed to vibe off of him.

Re: The cycle of Andrew's lambs (74,450) (74,455) by B from USA
Mariah is respected in the industry. She's also respected outside of the lambily. Yes, people tore her down after the NYE debacle but they also love to build them back up. If she can make a comeback after the Glitter era she can bounce back from anything. The younger generation (below 20) are split evenly on Mariah, they either hate her because she was mean to Ariana and others discovered Mariah because Ariana covered Emotions and was constantly compared to her.

New producer (74,454) by B from USA
Mark Ronson, Happy Perez, and Bruno and The Smeezingtons is who she should work with. I wonder what a song written by Mariah and Max Martin would sound like. She's written R&B Pop songs for Britney and Christina.

Re: The cycle of the lambs (74,447) (74,453) by B from USA
R&B can be uptempo. Dreamlover, Fantasy, and Honey are R&B songs that crossed over. Make It Look Good and YDKWYD are uptempo R&B songs. She needs to dig through the crates and find another gem like the Blind Alley sample she used for Dreamlover. Sampling Jones's songs for I Don't was a stroke of genius. The lyrics needed some work and she should have interpolated the songs lyrics into the lyrics of I Don't like she did for My All Stay Awhile.

Re: New album producers (74,431) (74,444) by B from USA
I'd be content with her writing the entire album with Babyface and then bringing in Happy Perez and other producers who can fuse together the music of the past and present like Kanye on his first two albums.

Happy anniversary, Touch My Body (74,443) by B from USA
Nine years ago today Mariah scored her 18th Billboard Hot 100 #1 with Touch My Body. Hopefully, Mariah scores another #1. I want her to break The Beatles record so bad or for her to at least tie their record. Unfornately, the men that own and run the radios and the djs don't like MC because she broke Elvis' record they still claim that their [sic] tied because Elvis' record was a double a-side but if that's allowed Mariah has #19 because of the My All/Breakdown double a-side. Notice how hard it's been for her to get any airplay?

Re: Possible collaborators (74,438) (74,440) by B from USA
Alicia Keys. I'd love it if they wrote a song like Falling, Like You'll Never See Me Again, or If I Ain't Got You. I just hope Mariah writes classy poetic lyrics like she did during Daydream and Butterfly. No more songs like Infinity, Obsessed, or I Don't, or Thirsty. Mariah's last hit was #Beautiful which updated her signature sound which is why she should work with Miguel and Happy Perez. They created magic together and I'm sure they could again. I just hope she hires a new manager and publicist for this new era. The only thing Stella & Company have done is tarnish her image. I know she has a joint production company with Stella but she could easily sell her stake in the company or just give it to her as a parting gift. I'm sure LA told her Bryan and Stella weren't doing her any favors. She ended her faux romance with Bryan and hopefully she's about to emancipate herself from the dictator. She also needs to hire a lamb to run her social media accounts. I've seen fake accounts that are better than her's.

Re: Possible collaborators (74,438) (74,439) by B from USA
Mariah did just that by featuring Remy Ma on the remix to I Don't. I'm elated that she's reconnected with LA and is going to release an album later this year (they said to expect it sooner rather than later). I'll be ordering tickets to the New Jersey concert next month. Let's focus on the positives instead of the negatives.

"I hear that LA Reid and Epic Records want to release a new single by Mariah in three weeks. They've got it, and feel that she needs something on the radio to remind people Carey can really sing - not just lip sync," Friedman reports. That quote is from the same man who claimed Mariah just demanded Epic releases I Don't. Don't believe anything he writes. He's a Cindy loyalist and he isn't a fan of Stella. He just keeps contradicting himself.
