Re: Idol producers (74,128) (74,144) by B from USA
This is a disgruntled former Fox executive looking for an easy payday.

Lady G (74,072) by B from USA
Thanks to Lady Gaga radio is becoming more receptive to ballads and singers that can sing. Mariah now's the time to release a killer ballad with a catchy hook. No more plodding midtempo R&B jams that are uninspired.

From MIAM to now (74,071) by B from USA
The only songs the public remembers from the MIAM era are #Beautiful and You're Mine (Eternal). They don't know YDKWTD or TAOLG. They think Inifinity was a commercial for her residency. I Don't and her Jimmy Kimmel performances are damage control from the fall out from Mariah's World and NYE. I just wish she had taken her time and really created something fresh with the remix like she did with My All Stay Awhile remix. I Don't has over 16 million views which is more than all of her videos since #Beauriful.

MIAM tells a story. Doesn't it?

The surprise performance? I Iove that performance.

Live performances (74,056) by B from USA
When performing live Mariah should rearrange her songs like she did with TGIFY. Thus eliminating the need to rely on a backing track for the wall of Mariah's and the whistles in the background.

Mariah best ballad since Butterfly? Are you serious? We Belong Together? For The Record? Mariah's Theme, or Cry.

Re: What I don't get about MC's networth (74,040) (74,052) by B from USA
Stella will receive a check and that's about it. Once she no longer manages Mariah no one will even remember her name.

She's either hosting or always a guest host on some talkshow. The show she was on when she gave her opinion on Miley's comments about Mariah.

The best hits of 1992 (74,049) by B from USA
Can't Let Go should've been #2 only behind Eric Clapton's Tears in Heaven.

Re: The uselessness of trying to change someone (74,006) (74,013) by B from USA
It wasn't Mariah's attitude. While Mariah was at Sony (even after the divorce) they played up the perfect pop princess and she was basically untouchable. Once she left Sony the press pounced especially after Loverboy only reached #2 on the Hot 100. The media didn't bother to listen to her complaints of sabotage until a man validated her claims. It was sexism. Now she's got to fight sexism and ageism to succeed.

Re: The uselessness of trying to change someone (74,001) (74,012) by B from USA
I recently came to the same conclusion. Awards and charts don't matter at the end of the day. As long she continues to release music I'll always be a Lamb. However, I still believe she'll make another comeback. Not under Stella's regime though. She needs to clean house. She also needs new collaborators and producers. JD should've been left in 2005. Sorry not sorry. When was his last hit, real hit, 2006?

Happy anniversary, Mariah (73,995) by B from USA
Happy birthday, Mariah. Thanks for providing me with the soundtrack of my life. Most of you know how her releases seem to coincide with what's happening in my life. Example a month or two before I even knew Mariah's was releasing #Beautiful a guy told me, "You know you're kind of beautiful." I'm listening to Fantasy wishing you a happy anniversary. Don't have too many splashes and only take a hit or two of the Mary Jane. Girl, you better be taking care of your God given talent. It's only natural that I'd be a member of the Lambily my last name is Lamb-ert after all. I've had a few splashes so please excuse the rambling.

Re: I Don't no-mix (73,910) (73,922) by B from USA
I haven't listened to the I Don't remix but I'm assuming she used the same formula she's been using since the Memoirs era of copy and paste. Which is ruining her legacy as the queen of the remix. The last decent remix she released was #Beautiful with Jezzy. I want classic Mariah remixes not copy and paste remixes.

Mariah (73,816) by B from USA
Mariah has never released a bad album or single (song). Some are better than others but she's still talented enough to write I Don't which tells all about the Packer split without naming names and the sample was a stroke of genius as is the adding of a current trap beat that doesn't overwhelm the original. I Don't has really grown on me and if Epic pushed it at radio Mariah could score a Top 20 hit.

Re: Licia (73,810) (73,815) by B from USA
I like Infinity but I can understand why some might not. The verses are modern Mariah (post TEOM) and the chorus are classic Mariah (before Butterfly). The production tries to straddle this fine line and falls flat. Is it a shady diss record or an uplifting anthem? It tries to be both and fails. It's half assed. It feels rushed. I Don't was able to update Mariah's signature sound seamlessly. The sample and interpolation mixed with a current trap beat works and is why it's gotten more views than a lot of her recent releases.

Re: Mariah's masterpiece - Vision of Love/WBT (73,811) (73,814) by B from USA
One Sweet Day doesn't get the credit it deserves. Its still played at funerals and still helps people who are mourning the loss of a loved one. How many songs can say that? Especially songs that were released 22 years ago?
