About RibbonB from USA: I love Mariah's Music.

Re: Miss Monroe introducing herself (69,745) (69,757) by RibbonB from USA
Awww, I saw that too and Roe Roe looked like she was thinking "Could you two just let me finish my introduction?" They are just adorable. The video Nick put out last year of Roc and Roe decorating the Christmas tree is so endearing. I'm still trying to figure out why he mentioned Mickey Mouse being at Disney.

Here is a thing from Ad Week, that talks about your imaginary viewers and talks about how some shows even with" high ratings" get cancelled.

Article: Mariah Carey reschedules final Vegas residency dates (69,735) by RibbonB from USA
Well, at least she won't be working on the kids birthday for a change. At least not in her Vegas shows.

Re: Mariah's West-World (69,731) (69,734) by RibbonB from USA
Here is an article that explains a bit more, but using West World not MW. West World got 3. 6 million live viewers, but the weekly total including replays should be about 12 million which is huge for cable. Speaking of Westworld, an SNL parody of Mariah's World as Mariah's Westworld would be friggin' hilarious. Real Mariah and host Mariah. Wish I had time and interest to write my own fan fiction. Too much to do during the holidays, but the thought makes me chuckle.

I wonder if she will appear on Lee Daniels' new show "Star" with Lenny Kravitz and Queen Latifah.

Re: Mariah should read her own press (69,245) (69,677) by RibbonB from USA
The main point of my original post about this is that she should be checking what her people tell her, not just relying on them for everydang thing, then acting surprised when it is not what she thinks or hopes for. If she has a new manager and a new major change of focus in her career make sure it's working the way you want it to. Now if she is doing all that and is ok with that, then it is what it is, but if this team is doing things that are not in her best interest and that of her children, or not quite as she intended, then she better be ready to deal with that at least periodically if not every day. Any business person should read the news. You can't allow the person you entrust to spin the news to the general public to also spin it to you. At least not without checking. And her other team accused Stella of painting one picture to Mariah that all was ok, when there was tons of discontent such that they left, or were fired, depending on who you believe, or who she believed. It's all so messy and unprofessional to say the least IMO. She also needs a few outside friends she trusts to give some feedback. That's difficult when she seems to feel all her friends are on her payroll.

Re: Mariah should read her own press (69,237) (69,246) by RibbonB from USA
Yup, that is exactly my point, but she really needs to put some checks and balances into her business if she is going to claim being the boss. I'm sick of the convenient victim she often plays. And yes Mimi L. this empowerment theme does not ring true at all. Mariah needs to stop doing many things and saying other things.

Mariah and Nick (69,234) by RibbonB from USA
I will take them at their own words that they loved each other, were at one time best friends and soul mates, but things change. She once said that she would never marry again after TM, unless she wanted to bring children into another relationship which she did with Nick. This new guy seems to be a part of the reality show script, down to using him to sabotage her next "wedding to JP". The seeds are planted in the first episode, with liitle crumbs sprinkled around all summer. The post NC stuff seems very contrived, but the way she is morphing into a Kardashian, anything is possible. I hope for her kids' sake and her own she doesn't take the stunt that far.

Re: And they'll linger on (69,227) (69,233) by RibbonB from USA
I believe eventually, maybe sooner than later she will go back to her NYC digs with dem babies. She has been gone far too long.

Re: Brian Tanaka and the posse (69,229) (69,232) by RibbonB from USA
I agree with your post, BT took the job. I also believe it is tough for M. to date in any traditional sense, living in her bubble. I think M. was looking for love and stability in Nick and they may have had that for a while. I don't believe the reason given for their divorce either, Nick alludes to that on his songs, but says he will never speak badly of her. Anyway, she can keep "planning pretty picnics, but she can't predict the weather".

Re: Stelle is here to stay (69,225) (69,230) by RibbonB from USA
She was a lucky find, he hardly created her, nor has he put out another artist like her. I know his history, Clive's is more impressive, but once a star has faded or fallen, there is often never a full recovery. There is no guarantee how M. would have fared had she continued to work with him. She allegedly went berserk on him when she felt snubbed at the Grammy's towards the end of their marriage.

Lol you guys are probably responding to Stella or Tonka Toy, trolling on this site. Notice that was asked by a new poster. Anyone reading this messageboard would have some indication of how people feel already. Trolling for chatter perhaps.

Mariah should read her own press (69,211) by RibbonB from USA
One important step M. should take for her future is to take time to read her own paid for press. She should read some of the Daily Mail and TMZ comments for these regularly planted stories. She supposedly lives in this "non bleak" bubble, but if she had a problem with her prior team saying one thing to her face and doing another, she should challenge herself to really see the image she is creating. Maybe then she would not be so subject to the whims of any given team. Now if she knows what she is getting from what she is putting out and she is happy with that, then there we are.

Re: Stelle is here to stay (69,205) (69,210) by RibbonB from USA
Oh please, Clive couldn't help Whitney in the end and many think he "killed" her, maybe M. wanted to escape that torture. All stars shine bright for their moment, some moments are longer than others. Notice TM hasn't created another M. because he is not God just a lucky record exec.

M's managers list (69,206) by RibbonB from USA
Her list is rather extensive and in recent years some were just a bleep on the radar. One thing Mariah should learn to perfect is to check the checker and of course sign her own checks. Hopefully we will see Mariah checking and challenging all of her team instead of being reassured by constant ass kissing.

Stella the Sychophant (69,192) by RibbonB from USA
Yes that is the word the reviewer used to accurately describe Stellar. noun 1. a self-seeking, servile flatterer; fawning parasite. Hopefully Mariah will catch on. Parasites probably start itching when the infection sets in. Said Sycho for short, gets thrown off the boat by James and he finally gives up, allegedly. Stella creates serious scheduling problems, cusses out staff and media, allows employees to act unprofessionally. Seems like Stellar is the root of all that is wrong this error/era.

Re: Stelle is here to stay (69,181) (69,185) by RibbonB from USA
Cindi was Mariah's publicist and she quit months before Stella, probably in anticipation of this direction. But then according to M. she quit her. Sort of like the narrative about Mariah's team. "He said she said" about who quit whom. Mariah has gone through managers like Spanx. Hopefully this Crustella as manager situation will work its way clear by the end of this 8 episode reality show. I love how one reviewer called her a fancy word for a "fake kiss ass". M. likes adulation, but that only lasts so long, hopefully. And Crustella can only create so many crisis' to claim she cleared them up so many times, before even Mariah can figure it out, hopefully. Like who schedules a tour and a "wedding" and a reality show at the same time, then convinces her client that she can't meet all those obligations? Stellar.

She tires of people and they tire of her, so there is that.

Re: I'm living for Mariah's World (69,119) (69,130) by RibbonB from USA
She was busy reading Mariah's contract, or rather prenup. I am a little curious to see how they unravel this tangled web they have woven. Stellar messed up big time in that she didn't "let" Mariah sign that commitment pre "nuP" because she wasn't yet divorced then, so it's lame to act like they had to rush a tour, rush plan a "wedding", when it would have only been a fake ceremony etc. So Stella messed up that 50 million someone was talking about. So tackily contrived, but apparently entertaining.

Re: Mariah's world (69,118) (69,127) by RibbonB from USA
Very true and she can't know that Stellar is any more trustworthy, just because she is a constant kiss ass.

Hey Mimi L. Please link any footage of Roc and Roe from the show if there is any, that's all I want to see. Lol.

Re: Giving the people what they want (69,042) (69,061) by RibbonB from USA
Mariah and her team knew the things they have been doing would get negative and positive reactions and yet they chose to do them and Mariah is selling this show down to the last interview with coy, come hither glances. I'm sure many people will watch, but there are others who don't want her to get caught up in her own self created hype and forget what is really important, the music, her faith (used to be), her children. There are many routes one can take, but Mariah picked this one. I hope there are more good things in this series, especially because she said she made it for herself and for her children. I hope it is something they will be proud of. Oh and if James' name is on said leases, then he will pay all M. has to do is leave the premises. Close the door and lose the keys leave the ring on the mat if she please. Oh and the parent with main custody should just show more discretion, because what they do around the children sets a good or bad impression for their future and revolving doors ain't cute, that's for a hotel not a home. IMO.

Re: Divas clips (69,037) (69,041) by RibbonB from USA
I read from someone who said they were there, that she lipped the AIWFC performance, did the one song and left and that she did not make the final bow with the other divas. So I am not sure why one article said she sang several of her songs.
