Lionel and Mariah All The Hits (70,972) by B from USA I'm looking forward to seeing Mariah in concert. One underwhelming performance isn't going to ruin Mariah's career or legacy. Mariah slayed at in NY at Beacon theatre and Vegas. She's going to slay on this tour. After the Rockefeller debacle she slayed the opening night of her Las Vegas residency and the second night (which I was lucky enough to attend). I saw Mariah in Vegas in 2015 and I'll be seeing her in Columbus, Ohio this spring two years later for the second time. I'll always support her and I think she handled the NYE debacle with class and grace. She did the best she could under those circumstances. (Sunday 8 January 2017; 4:20)

They weren't the whistle notes from the chorus so I'm giving her a pass on that part. I think she's been celebrating with one or thirty splashes too many this holiday season and she knew her voice was too dried out to actually perform live. Mariah lay off the alcohol and Xanax. If so I think someone behind the scenes thinks Mariah needs taken down a notch or two. This isn't going to ruin her career or legacy. To the public she's an out of touch with reality lazy diva. They saw this as nothing new. Same old Mariah failing at lipping. Some cites are reporting that she did a rehearsal that went well and that this incident was caused by technical difficulties behind the scenes. The upside of this is the public love a comeback and Mariah thrives when she's the underdog. Mariah go on a morning show and sing TGIFY live and explain it was a technical difficulty and that everyone lips at these functions. (Sunday 1 January 2017; 20:49)

Re: New music? (70,491) (70,495) by B from USA RJ, I share the same complaint about not enough Mariah on Mariah's World. I'm also disappointed in lack of tour rehearsals and Mariah singing. She filmed the entirety of her tour and she gave some epic vocals. She needs more of that and less made up backstage drama between background vocalist Tatum and some random dancer. Where is Big Nasty? He's hilarious and he also burst out into song. Is he gay, asking for a friend? (Sunday 1 January 2017; 0:32)

(70,457) (70,484) by B from USA If she dresses with class in 2017 and ditches the diva act and adds a clause in her magazine, tv, and radio interviews that she'll only talk about her music and the tour, her music and keeps her answers short and sweet and appears down to earth, humble, and thankful like she was during TEOM era she'll be likeable. The act turns off the general public and members of the media because they don't understand her personality. She's hilarious but only if you know that she's fully in on it. Half of Mariah's World is her joking around. The only thing that I've found that I find concerning is she's constantly drinking which hurts her vocal cords. She needs to slay tonight and if she does lip give it your all you know how to you're a pro pretend you're filming a music video. (Saturday 31 December 2016; 16:12)

I've seen it praised by Edward and others and was at a loss for why they would include it among her best work lyrically. I'm going to give it another listen and read the lyrics. Happy New Years Eve, my MCA family we made it through 2016 and our girl is ringing in 2017 with Lionel Richie on the annual Dick Clark's NYE Countdown. I bet they duet and promote the tour tonight because it begins in three months and I've already got my tickets. (Saturday 31 December 2016; 15:55)

It would make sense and it would debut in the Top 5 (if not at #1) with their combined fan bases. Lionel is only relevant because of Nicole and Sofia (she dated Justin Beiber). If they duet on Endless Love and release it as a single I hope they film a simple black and white video with them using classic microphones and Mariah donning an elegant simple LBD (with little to no clevage showing). Mariah hire Rachel Zoe as your stylist for the promotional campaign and dress with class by wearing Valentino exclusively (off the runway not custom). Gaga did this when she did her duet album with Tony and it worked because she Gaga channeled a bygone era. Lionel also needs to wear tuxes ala Frank Sinatra. If done right this tour could be epic. Mariah and Lionel are legends and they have written all of their hits. (Saturday 31 December 2016; 15:48)

I hope and pray it doesn't end with Mariah and BT frolicking on the beach (ala the staged leaked paparazzi pictures) with a voiceover from Mariah saying she's found love again unexpectedly. Stella Bulochnikov is definitely a member of the board. Which member who cares or knows but she needs to start taking our advice it ain't the 90's and it isn't 2005 or 2008. One an aside Mariah was fun on Seth's late night show despite the body suit and hooker boots. Mariah or Stella hire an A list stylist. Mariah is still considered and megastar, a global star and she needs to stop wearing ensembles for the House of Carey & Bulochnikov. (Saturday 31 December 2016; 15:34)

These are things she has to do if she wants to score another #1 or score another comeback. Or she can continue on the path she's on making the same songs using the same formula that worked before or she can step out of her (Mariah's) and release times have changed and if she wants to remain a megastar she's going to have to seamlessly update her signature song by writing and producing with Miguel and Happy Petez, Bruno and The Smeezingtons, and Frank Ocean. Working with The Weekend is a step in the right direction, as long as she allows him to write the song with her and not just use him as a featured artist on a JD song. Ms. Monroe knew white and were here's and took full advantage of it. Only problem Mariah's boobs are too big, the implants in 1999 and having children made them Dolly Parton esque. She needs a breast reduction. Until she does so she's going to be looked at as a maybe has been diva flaunting her massive clevage for attention. Designers make clothing for flat chested women. Mariah looked best in 1998 when she had only had an augmentation (compare 1997 to 1998). She needs to reduce them back to the size she had before having children. Back in 2014, George thanked Mariah for recording the song which immediately touched her heart. "I'm so honored you like my rendition of 'One More Try'," Mariah wrote. "You and this song have always meant so much to me. Fan and friend for life." I love that Mariah shared this recent memory they shared and I don't understand the cynicism. She's not using George's death to promote MIAM. She barely promoted that album when it was released and how anyone can/could think sharing her most recent conversation with absurd. Didn't Mariah say in an early interview that she had his poster on her wall? She's always been a fan of his and one of his songs inspired one of her songs (it's the intro, can't remember which song). By doing the residency, world tour, and North American tour she's reconnecting with her fans and reminding them of why they love her. This strategy worked after Charmbracelet tanked. Mariah's next studio album is going to be vocally epic. I want Mariah to work with the writers and producers Bruno Mars, Frank Ocean, and Miguel write with. (Tuesday 27 December 2016; 15:12)

Re: Test (70,318) (70,323) by B from USA She'll be remembered as The Voice of our generation and as the first female to debut a song at #1 on the Hot 100 and the first female to simultaneously occupy the #1 and #2 spots on the Hot 100. She'll also be remembered for having the Song of the Decade (One Sweet Day) of the 90's and the Song of the Decade (We Belong Together) of the 2000's. They can try but can't take these achievements away from her. She always hold these records. Even if Rhianna surpasses on 18 #1 single on the Hot 100 record she's still the most successful female songwriter and producer. (Monday 26 December 2016; 17:48)
