They've been soaking up the summer climes on a lavish trip to the Mediterranean for the past few weeks. And Mariah Carey and James Packer looked loved-up as ever as they posed with their mutual friend Brett Ratner after arriving back in the US on Tuesday.
Mariah, 46, took to Instaram to commemorate the happy moment with an image of the trio smiling arm-in-arm while standing on the tarmac of an airport. The infamous pop-star looked chic as usual, clad in a figure-hugging sleeveless dress in black featuring a fishtail skirt. She completed her look with a thick choker necklace and a black pair of shades.
Moments later, Mariah gave her fans a glimpse of her transport for the day - a private helicopter - in another glamorous Instagram snap.
Brett Ratner is thought to be responsible for pairing the Australian casino magnate and the American pop-star, who announced their engagement in January this year. Three days ago, Brett appeared once more in Mariah's Instagram feed in an image taken during a yacht ride near the Island of Capri.
In the picture, the close friends appear slightly worse for wear as they cuddle up on a large padded deckchair. Brett has worked with Mariah on a number of her music videos for songs including 2008's Touch My Body, 2009's Obsessed and 1998 track I Still Believe.
His and Mariah's close friendship has previously become a site of romance rumours following Mariah's split from former husband Nick Cannon. Brett put the rumors to rest, however, telling E! "the dating rumour makes me laugh actually. It cracks me up. We're great friends. She's awesome and she's amazing."
