The couple that coordinates together stays together - or at least that appears to be Mariah Carey's hope. The singer and her boyfriend, Bryan Tanaka, dressed in camouflage prints while out in New York City Wednesday night. Carey wore a Saint Laurent gold trip jacket while Tanaka opted for a gray printed T-shirt and black puffer coat.
The similar looks are far from a coincidence. Carey and Tanaka have made it their couple signature since they started dating in 2016 (it probably makes it easier for them to spot each other in crowds?). The pair met over 10 years ago in 2006 when Tanaka was a backup dancer during Carey's Adventures of Mimi Tour, setting the foundation for a future of the many coordinating outfits to come.
For Carey's New Year's Eve performance last month, Tanaka joined her on stage wearing a white-and-red suit, complementing her sparkling red toy-solider-inspired leotard. A few weeks later, the couple went to dinner in Los Angeles sporting black leather jackets over bright red tops (Tanaka's was a simple T-shirt while Carey's was a plunging lace-up bodysuit).
It appears that Carey may have found the perfect one for her. Matching ensembles? James Packer would never.
