Mariah Carey caused quite a glam commotion at Clive Davis' pre-Grammy gala at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Saturday night. The "Butterfly" singer never looked better - and apparently she wanted the photos to reflect it.
The pop chanteuse brought her longtime makeup artist, Kristofer Buckle, as her plus-one, and we caught him whipping out his own lighting device whenever guests snapped photos with her during the event.
But the well-lit diva was gracious to industry fans as she passed by - smiling and softly saying "thank you" as they showered her with compliments like, "You look amazing Mariah."
Music mogul Davis announces VIPs throughout the gala to the crowd. And Carey didn't waste a moment to flee the six-hour party early after he shouted her out from the stage. She waved from her seat - and then off she went.
