Mariah Carey celebrated her "anniversary" in style. For the "Touch My Body" singer's 56th birthday - a day she has long referred to as her anniversary - on Thursday, she looked incredibly festive in a silver sequined dress, complete with sheer fabric that revealed her midriff.
Carey's long wavy blond hair, which hit right above her waist, gave mermaid vibes as did the dress' large paillettes. Though the musician skipped a necklace and earrings, she glammed things up with a statement pinky ring and two glitzy diamond-encrusted bracelets.
"Celebratory moments from 3/27," Carey, looking radiant and ageless in the image, captioned an Instagram post. Carey layered a long silky bubblegum pink robe over the shimmering dress as she frolicked around near the water with a drink in hand.
On her "anniversary", Carey shared another image of herself cruising on a jet ski, which was a complete 180 from her fabulous sequin look in the following post.
"Thank you lambily for the anniversary wishes and for always making me so happy," Carey, who wore oversized pink aviator sunglasses and a safety vest for the excursion, wrote on Instagram. The singer sure knows how to celebrate.
