You can always count on Mariah Carey to properly remix her work. The Songbird Supreme has released a remix pack for her new single "Type Dangerous".
The four-track EP includes two hip-hop-flavored renditions - "The Remix of the Gods" featuring Busta Rhymes, Redman, and Method Man, and "The Sean Don Remix" with Big Sean - along with a DJ Snake remix and a Brazilian funk version featuring Luisa Sonza.
The original version of "Type Dangerous" was released June 6 via MARIAH/gamma.
The booming track, which includes production by Anderson. Paak, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's R&B Digital Song Sales chart. It also opened at No. 4 on Digital Song Sales, No. 7 on Hot R&B Songs, No. 15 on Adult R&B Airplay.
"I'm so excited to finally be releasing 'Type Dangerous' into the world," Carey said. "I've been locked up in the studio for quite some time working my behind off on new music, and I'm thrilled for the unveiling of it to my fans, starting with 'Type Dangerous'!"
"Type Dangerous" is the first offering from Carey's upcoming 16th studio album. It will mark her first full-length project since 2018's Caution, which ranked No. 1 on Rated R&B's Best R&B Albums list.
