Mariah to hold concerts in Seoul and Pusan

Diva Mariah Carey will have concerts in Seoul and Pusan at the end of May, according to SJ Entertainment, which is organizing the concerts. Carey will be performing at the Olympic Park in southern Seoul on May 31 and at Pusan's Bexco convention center on June 3. This is her third visit here after the joint concert "Michael Jackson and Friends" in 1999 and a stop to promote her last album in November last year.

Carey has reigned over the pop music world since "Vision of Love", "Love Take Time", "Someday", and "I Don't Wanna Cry", all from her self-titled debut album in 1990, went to the top of the music charts, leading her to Grammy Awards for Best New Artist and Best Female Vocalist. She has had 15 No. 1 singles in all.

At the concerts here, Carey is expected to sing her biggest hits, including "Sweetheart", "My All" and "Without You", along with songs from her most recent album, "Charmbracelet". Tickets will go on sale April 7. For more information, call (02) 399-5888 or go to www.sjenter.co.kr.
