Mariah jets off to St. Maarten
While rumors swirled that Mariah Carey would make a special appearance at this year's Academy Awards ceremony to present an award with "Wise Girls" co-star Mira Sorvino, chances look grim. Carey has been on vacation since her Super Bowl appearance last month and is taking time to enjoy life. Although she has dabbled in a little production for her next studio album, Carey has been reported as visiting the Bahamas, Disney World and now, St. Maarten island.
Carey arrived on the Dutch West Indian Island of St. Maarten today by private jet - accompanied only by her bodyguard and watchdog - a jack terrier appropriately named Jackson P. Mutley. Carey was named worst actress for the box-office disaster "Glitter", taking 60 percent of the votes cast by Golden Rasberry Award Foundation members. (MaLa Online) Many thanks to Mariah Land.
