Vision of love (Legacy Edition) - Part 4
The story about "Vision of love (Legacy Edition)" still continues. Last Wednesday, I told you that according to Sony Music Sweden, the CD is a re-release of the debut album from 1990 and will most likely be a double CD. Besides the original album, there will be a bonus CD pressumably with demos, outtakes and unreleased material.
On Dutch radio it was said that the bonus CD will contain Mariah's demo tape, the one she gave to Tommy Mottola at a party one Friday night in November 1988. It is not certain what the exact tracklisting of that tape is, but several websites say the following songs were on that tape: 1. Alone in love
2. Someday
3. All in your mind
4. Prisoner
5. Do you ever wonder If this is true, the bonus CD will only be about 20 minutes long and we will only get one new song. Most fans would love to hear the first version of "Vision of love" and songs that Mariah recorded and which never made it onto any album.
Since we heard of this CD, there are many rumours. But nothing is certain. We don't know for sure the tracklisting and the cover. I guess we have to wait until an official statement from Sony if we want to know more about this release. The release date is August 30, 2004, so lets hope we don't have to wait too long for this statement.
