Mariah earns another No. 1
Congratulations Mariah. In the July 22nd issue of Billboard Magazine, Mariah earns her second No. 1 at the Billboard Hot Adult R&B Airplay chart with "Fly Like A Bird". Last year, "We Belong Together" spent eight weeks at the top spot, while "One Sweet Day" spent nine weeks at the No. 2 position.
On the other charts, the single isn't doing that well. "Fly Like A Bird" still hasn't entered the Hot 100 (last week it was at No. 9 on Billboard's Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles) and on the airplay chart it was at No. 67 (coming from No. 73). On the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks chart it was at No. 24 (coming from No. 28) and on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart it was also at No. 24 (coming from No. 26).
