Re: Britney, was that you? (58,022) (58,043) by B from USA
Don't make me throw you in a pool. How dare you insult Mariah and Britney.

I love you, Eric. All I want for Christmas is you.

The Twilight Zone (58,020) by B from USA
What the hell? Mariah is now a drug addict, a bad mother, and mentally ill. Wow. I'm ashamed of all of you. How you can call yourselves fans let alone lambs is beyond me. I'm at a loss for words. Be nice or leave. Utter lunacy. Lambily unite.

Re: New Christmas Melody clip via EW (57,968) (57,974) by B from USA
A Mariah Carey vanity project, you don't say? Sign me up. Of course she's vain and has better lighting she a director now. How foolish. Looks like the film critics wil be reusing those Glitter barbs this Holliday season.

Re: American Music Awards (57,938) (57,941) by B from USA
Mariah's upper register has been sounding fine to me. She sounded great in Vegas.

Re: Can't Say No snippet (57,932) (57,939) by B from USA
Love it. I might like it more than IKWYW. Slay. Those resung vocals though wow. She's still got it. The resung vocals, the beat, and Rick Ross' part sound amazing. This sounds like a sure fire hit to me.

Good Morning America (57,927) by B from USA
I hope Mariah is coherent and down to earth. She needs to be as likeable as possible to regain the respect of older fans that were turned off by her diva antics. She doesn't need to ramble and play up the diva image like she usually does which isn't gaining her any new fans. I'm not bashing Mariah. I hope this interview is as good as her recent interviews. I honestly believe she's gearing up for a comeback. Slay, Mariah.

Re: Can't Say No (57,921) (57,925) by B from USA
Baby, I agree. Mariah posted a photo of her and Busta on the set of IKWYW. Her doing so implies her collaboration with Rick Ross is as good or better than her collaboration with Busta. People forget that she started her comeback by working with Busta. It was her only hit until 2005 when she released It's Like That. I think she's been secretly recording an album that she'll surprise release.

Re: AI judges reuniting (57,893) (57,895) by B from USA
I'm glad Mariah will be joining all of the judges of AI and you know she'll look like she did when she was a judge. A smart decision career wise along with admitting the feud with Minja was fake. This will repair her image she just needs to use her PR training she received from the Columbia and Sony managers and her publicists. She needs to play the game she knows how to. Slay Mariah, slay.

Re: Paris (57,842) (57,867) by B from USA
Since when are our pop stars supposed to provide commentaries on world affairs and politics? Mariah's post was smart and classy.

Adele (57,866) by B from USA
I think Mariah will refocus on ballads with memorable hooks, choruses and melodies.

Re: MC and Rick Ross (57,851) (57,865) by B from USA
I have a feeling it will be. Mariah is smart. She'll use this collaboration with Ross to pique the public's interest in her and then release a stellar single and album. I see this playing out similarly to IKWYW.

Re: Watch What Happens Live / T Pain (57,859) (57,864) by B from USA
T Pain is desperate. She flirts with everyone. Glad to know a glass of wine or whatever is all it takes to get Mimi tipsy. She's not an alcoholic she's just a cheap drunk. Three beers and I'm drunk.

Rick Ross (57,853) by B from USA
Excited. Let the comeback begin. I love Mariah's sweet vocals with Ross' gravely tone. A sure fire hit unless it's Triumphant part two, lol.

Re: "If We" / "Glitter" (57,823) (57,824) by B from USA
The Glitter soundtrack was ahead of its time. It's an introspective concept album that is now consider one of Mariah's best. If We, Lead The Way, and Never Too Far are my favorites from the album (soundtrack).

Re: Love story (57,795) (57,808) by B from USA
The album was written before she met Nick.

Re: Fly like a bird (57,800) (57,803) by B from USA
Fly Like A Bird is an amazing song. I think she should make a gospel album. If Mariah does record a standards or gospel album she should strip each song of instrumentation just Mariah, her world-class voice, and a piano. Vanishing is a Carey classic that should be included in the Great American Songbook. Vanishing also showcases her criminally underrated lower register. She should also do so for live performances like she did (does) in Vegas when preforming Thank God I Found You.

Re: Really random things (57,801) (57,802) by B from USA
Mariah did look ten years younger in 2013 while promoting #Beautiful.

Mariah's Hallmark Gretting Card line (57,762) by B from USA
This is brilliant. Mariah on the comeback trail. She'll be at #1 again.

TAOLG (57,755) by B from USA
Today is the art of letting go's anniversary. After listening to it, for the first time in months, this morning I actually have a new apprection for it. Mariah doesn't need to change her sound. She needs to update her signature sound by working with new producers and songwriters. She needs a fresh perspective that working with JD isn't going to provide.

Re: Oh the insanity (57,742) (57,743) by B from USA
Mimi, I agree that Mariah is still a talented songwriter. However, I think the Infinity verses are utter brilliance. I'm not ashamed to admit that I love both sides of Mariah, the lyricist. I love Mariah when she digs deep and tugs at the heart strings and when she's writing a lyric just for laughs. Some commenters are boring and corny like Fritos.

Re: Keeping lambs close and your Andrews closer (57,721) (57,731) by B from USA
Baby, I love you. You faux scientist.
(Tuesday 10 November 2015; 3:51)
Re: Chill Bill (57,722) (57,730) by B from USA
Exactly. I love you, Bill. I don't care if Mariah lips every performance she does for the rest of her career because doing so preserves her voice for future recordings and Mariah's best in the studio, right Andrew?
(Tuesday 10 November 2015; 3:50)
Re: (57,668) (57,669) by B from USA
Andrew, why do you constantly bash Mariah? A lip syncing machine? Do you honestly believe Adele has never lipped a performance?
