About B from USA: Slowly but surely®™ The Vindication of B ®™

"There are people called haters and we give them positivity" MC

So fetch (57,257) by B from USA
Lacey Chabert, the actress who plays Gretchen in Mean Girls is starring in Mariah's A Christmas Melody. You know Mariah was instrumental in Chabert's casting. Another (early) Christmas gift from Mariah. This Christmas is going to be so fetch. Mariah also has her annual seasonal show at the Beacon Theatre, the book, the lipstick, and the reissue of Merry Christmas coming up (out) this year. I'm feeling festive.

G, I'm loving the balance you've struck. Snarky yet supportive.

Re: 90s MC compared to 2015 (57,248) (57,253) by B from USA
We don't known what limitations her voice has, if any. She also said singing in a lower key would strain her voice. Some of the comments are shady but look at the commenters.

Like Mariah says it's the peaks and valleys of life that make it interesting. Or a career.

Mariah (57,247) by B from USA
Mariah is, was, and will always be The Voice. Even with the supposed decline she's still untouchable. Her voice is a gift from God. She's a songbird in human form. I was watching the Oprah interview during the promotional campaign for Butterfly and Mariah said she was medolically driven. She was coining catchphrases even then.

Re: I've always wondered (57,228) (57,245) (57,246) by B from USA
I think she'd congratulate herself for a job well done and tell her herself to go to the Rockefeller tree lighting this year and redeem herself and remind the world why she's earned the right to be a first class diva. Beyone [sic] doesn't compare and sorry Arianna it's never going to happen.

From "This Day in History". Are you new to MCA?

Re: Mariah's next single (57,212) (57,225) by B from USA
G, I agree. I think when she writes a new song she should compare it to one of her 18 #1's. If it as good or better she should start over. I'm sure she used to do so in the 90's. Imagine all of the songs stored in the vault at Sony that she now has access to. Mariah release a song from any era during your Sony years. Please.

Re: Gospel album (57,220) (57,224) by B from USA
I agree. Instead of recording a standards album Mariah should make a Gospel album. I think she should cover hymns and write songs of praise 50/50. LA Reid should have suggested she do a Gospel album instead of suggesting she record a standards album of songs from the Classic American Songbook.

Article: Mariah Carey explains album delay in letter to fans (57,222) by B from USA
Now knowing what she was going through, the injuries and divorce, I applaud her for always taking time out of her hectic life to give us updates like this. I agree with what she said about the album, MIAMTEC, and Roc being featured on a classic. Supernatural is one of my favorite songs on the album and of every pop stars that's written or recorded an ode to motherhood Mariah's is the best.

Re: Running by Beyoncé & Naughty Boy (57,188) (57,219) by B from USA
I don't want Mariah to work with the producers Beyonce works with. I think Mariah should work with Ryan Tedder, he's a talented songwriter and he's the man Pop stars go to for ballads.

Re: Janet Jackson's new album (57,214) (57,215) by B from USA
If Janet's new album did debut at #1 I'm happy for her. MIAM debuted at #3 with absolutely no promotion. If Mariah had been able to properly promote that album it would have debuted at #1. Her next album can debut at #1 as long as she promotes it like her livelihood depends on it. She should work on writing great songs for next album. With the divorce and custody battle with Nick, her new relationship with Packer, and directing a movie her creative juices most be flowing. She said it herself she's constantly writing. I just hope she stops using cowriters for her lyrics.

She does look amazing in the Infinity video, G. I could do without the scenes of her in her closet and laying on the couch.

Re: Rihanna (57,198) (57,200) by B from USA
Most of Rhianna's #1's are as a featured artist. I think Billboard should clarify how that works. Does being a featured artist on a #1 mean it's your #1? Personally, I don't think so. Besides Mariah has countless classics that could have been #1 hits had the label released them. Rhianna's days are numbered. Her songs have flopped and her album won't top the Billboard 200, mark my words. If RihRih breaks Mariah's record I will loose faith (hope) in humanity and the lambily. We can put Mariah back at #1. We just have to do our parts. We need to get motivated because I have a feeling Mariah is going to release an amazing song. If we don't share, like, advertise, and buy she'll never be #1 again. We have to change with the times. I wish we could still go by her singles at record stores. I miss the 90's. Stream her videos and refresh after every view.

Re: Success of other artists (57,184) (57,199) by B from USA
I don't think there was a demand for Janet's music from the general public, I think it was her fans. She hadn't released an album since 08 or 09. Is her album selling well? I haven't heard any news that supports some of these claims except excellent reviews. As we saw with MIAMTEC excellent reviews does not equal excellent sales.

Re: Success of other artists (57,182) (57,194) by B from USA
Critics praised MIAMTEC. It received some of the best reviews of her career. Unfortunately it fell on deaf ears. One day it will be considered a classic.

Mariah looks stunning. Those jeans hug her curves in all the right places.

Re: Rock and Roll HOF (57,175) (57,177) by B from USA
I have faith that her instrument, her voice, will one day get her inducted in the R&RHOF. I'd be happier if she was inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame, why that hasn't happened yet is beyond me.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (57,166) by B from USA
Unlike Madonna and Janet, Mariah's voice is amazing. She's considered the best singer ever. Google the best singer in the world and the results are Mariah, Elvis, and Ms. Dion. She is also a talented songwriter and producer. She's also a pioneer. I hope she's inducted but if she isnt it's not that big of a deal. She's a living legend.

Re: JD / Babyface (57,124) (57,145) by B from USA
Babyface's Every Time I Close My Eyes, with MC singing the background vocals, is an amazing song and he's an amazing songwriter. I want a proper duet. I don't know why LA Reid hasn't suggested she work with Face again.

Re: JD, the horrible manager (57,130) (57,144) by B from USA
I thought (think) as her friends they would have been better positioned to advise her. JD's unprofessionalism is what bothered me.

Re: Never Forget You (57,133) (57,142) by B from USA
Mara, I have also found solace in Mariah's music. I think I read somewhere, years ago, that The Wind was inspired by the death of a friend. I believe it was a car accident. Does anyone else remember reading that?
