I love this look.

Petals (57,025) by B from USA
The Valentine line in Petals does not segue into the part about the little brother and little sister. I think she references Alison, Tommy, Tommy's children, and Ben and Walter (and other members of her entourage that sold stories about her to the tabloids). However after reading the lyrics which reference Butterfly and questions if she really loved him I can with certainty say Valentine is indeed Tommy. These are the lyrics that follow the Valentine lyric: "I really loved you (I guess I loved you). I tried so hard but you drove me away to preserve my sanity. And I found the strength to break away. Fly."

Mariah's vocals (57,023) by B from USA
I would think her vocal prime would be considered Emotions. Her vocals are ethereal on that album and she reaches the stratosphere with her high notes. She also showcased her lower register which is criminally underrated.

Empire (57,022) by B from USA
Jussie Smolett's Jamaal's "We love everbody" was so Mariah-ish. You think it was an intentional nod to Mariah's upcoming guest starring role on the series. I really hope she plays an over the top, fictionalized version of herself. I also hope she's the thinnest she's ever been when she graces the small screen. Welcome to prime time, Mariah, for the first time. She needs to sing a song with Jussie.

Re: Stacey, B: a toast to the daydreamers (57,002) (57,010) by B from USA
Edward, I agree Daydream is Mariah's magnum opus. It's the perfect blend of her doing what she does best which is writing timeless Popish R&B songs. Mariah has written countless amazing songs and she wrote the majority of her lyrics during the first 9 years of her career with the exception of covers. Read the album liner notes. She's credited as the lyric writer of all of her best songs. She seems to do best when she does what she loves and what the label wants. Write catchy smartly written timeless songs. Doing so is an art form that Mariah is a master. She's the most successful female songwriter and producer and singer. Mariah is the queen.

Re: Daydream (57,008) (57,009) by B from USA
Daydream was the first album I ever owned. The first CD single I ever bought was Fantasy. Daydream was Mariah mania. She was young and in her prime and she released one of the best albums of all time with countless classic songs and singles that spent 6 months at #1 on Billboards Hot 100 chart. One Sweet Day spent sixteen weeks at #1 on the same chart and was the Song of the Decade. It's amazing that exactly ten years later she released another amazing album that's second single We Belong Together spent fourteen weeks at number one and became the Song of the Decade that is only second to One Sweet Day. Mariah is a phoenix. She wil rise from the ashes like a bird of paradise looking stunning with an amazing song and video that reminds people who the hell she is the legendary stunning elusive Chanteuse who is ready to make another declaration of independence.

Thanks. I'm doing good. I just started my sophomore year of college. On a sadder note I turned a gay guy straight or so he claims even though I've seen him out and about with some new guy, lol.

I love the artdeco 20's inspired Forever bottle. I collect desinger perfume bottles that I buy and her's is the only celeb fragrance to get added to my collection. It's her best smelling perfume in my opinion.

I haven't paid attention to Madonna since she used to be popular back when I was in like seventh or eighth grade.

Told you. The edgy jackets, casual ensembles (jeans), and the edgy leather jackets and now the champagne lipstick. I love chapstick and lip balm I just might buy a tube of Mariah's lipstick. The comeback is in full force. She needs to open a tree lighting ceremony with a killer performance of All I Want For Christmas Is You and redeem herself.

I think this is being blown out of proportion. This is a messageboard where you share your opinions. Everyone has one, why start arguments because your opinions differs from theirs and name calling because you see things differently? I take everyone's opinions into consideration except the newly [censored] commenter that accused me of being Issac. Let's love each other and accept each other. Mariah and Mac are launching a champagne lipstick just in time for Christmas.

I want to live in LaLa Land where Mariah lords over us while riding a unicorn sprinkling us with glittering fairy dust. I love them both and I'm not picking sides. As far as I knew the bullies hadn't been posting. Unless I'm considered a bully?

Startup execs were more of a "diva" than Mariah (56,940) by B from USA
Positive press. Mariah's image in the press is being overhauled thanks to the success of her Vegas residency and the Game of War ad. Let the comeback commence.

Re: MC and JD (56,933) (56,939) by B from USA
I remember the interview. She did seem sincere. She's threw epic shade at Madonna so many times it's hard to know if she was sincere or not honestly. Madonna started it and Mariah didn't back down. This parting is for the best. Mariah needs a producer who will challenge her and who's advice she will listen to. Someone she hasn't worked with before. I think Happy Perez, Frank Ocean, and Miguel need to work exclusively with her on her next album like she did with Tricky and The Dream. A modern R&B album with edge. I love Miguel's Coffee song.

She is stunning. Mimi, she's rocking an edgier style just like you asked for. I honestly believe she's a member of this message board. I don't know who, she's probably a member that's been here since the site launched and has never written a post.

Re: If you could add anything to your Mariah (56,926) (56,935) by B from USA
Glad they realized how disrespectful to Mariah and her fans The Mariah Store was. All I want for Christmas is the #1 To Infinity concert book. I saw the moving billboards promoting the residency and the first teaser for the Infinity video being played everywhere. I wish they had included it in the video.

Not my successor, Mariah's. Surprised the grammar police haven't commented on it yet lol. I'm not talking about our wonderful Eric. He deserves praise for putting up with us. He's truly a member of the lambily and I've been visiting this site since the day it was launched. I spent hours on here reading articles and the message board never commenting.

Have you seen her recent picture with the adorable Ms. Monroe. I pray to God she inherited Mariah's voice and I think she just might have. My successor will be her daughter. Rock could have as well. He's adorable.

I would add the Mariah Carey #1 To Infinity concert (tour) book. It wasn't available when I was there and the merchandise was bleak. Did anyone buy one and if so how much did it cost? Does anyone know if you can order one?
