"There are people called haters and we give them positivity" MC

Re: Billboard article: Music industry executive survey (56,301) (56,303) by B from USA
She still has the talent and the looks needed to make another comeback. It really is up to her. She's primed for a comeback. Now is the perfect time.

Re: Article: Jermaine doesn't think Taylor Swift is the new Mariah (56,287) (56,297) by B from USA
I don't care for him personally but I love his work with Mariah.

2013-2015 (56,295) by B from USA
In 2013 less than a week after dislocating her shoulder and fracturing a rib Mariah performed My All, #Beautiful, Looking In, and Hero at the MLB Central Park Charity Concert. Mariah is still The Voice and this performance of Looking In proves it.

Article: Miguel reflects on working with Mariah Carey (56,290) by B from USA
I want another Mariah and Miguel collaboration. A duet album between the two would be amazing.

Article: Jermaine doesn't think Taylor Swift is the new Mariah (56,281) by B from USA
Taylor isn't and never will be the next Mariah Carey. There will never be another Mariah, sorry Ms. Grande.

Infinity (56,269) by B from USA
Infinity has witty (clever) verses and a strong chorus/hook. The music (beat) is what was messy and the mixing.

Merry Christmas (56,265) by B from USA
Merry Christmas is a classic. It doesn't need to be rereleased or reissued or remixed.

Re: Article: Is Mariah Carey pregnant? (56,237) (56,242) by B from USA
Agreed.

The legacy and legend of Ms. Mariah Carey (56,241) by B from USA
Mariah's records for being the first female artist to debut a song at #1 on The Billboard Hot 100 (Fantasy) and being the first female artist to occupy the #1 and #2 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously. Plus, two back to back Billboard Hot 100 Songs of the Decade, One Sweet Day and We Belong Together. Plus All I Want For Christmas Is You and its continued yearly seasonally success. Her legend and legacy will always remain intact. She’s iconic.

Re: New album (56,224) (56,226) by B from USA
I want her to write lyrics like Alway Be My Baby, Butterfly, Breakdown, The Roof, Looking In, Outside, My All, and Side Effects. I want smartly written poetic lyrics that everyone can relate to. When she references herself or her personal life in her lyrics it makes the songs hard to relate to. Does anyone else understand what I'm trying to say or agree?

Re: New album (56,222) (56,224) by B from USA
Mariah needs to update her signature sound by working with new producers and writers. She doesn’t need to make any drastic changes musically. I think she should embrace Hipster R&B (Miguel and Frank Ocean). I think it would work wonders for her career.

Whatever. The media loves to kick people when they're down.

I'm not. You are. [Webmaster: Could you two please stop this "discussion"? You sound like little children on the playground.]

Please share the link. All things Mariah get me excited, especially new music.

Re: The biggest (56,202) (56,205) by B from USA
Always Be My Baby was the most played song on the radio in 96.

Re: Fact versus opinion (56,193) (56,197) by B from USA
I just make suggestions of what I think would help her make another comeback. Remember when she received all that negative press for wearing those evening gowns while riding the subway and at the playground?

Re: New material / Slipping Away (56,183) (56,196) by B from USA
Alanis Morissette's collector's edition release of the album will include unreleased demos and a full live concert from the year of its release. This is what Reid, Mariah, and Sony/Epic need to do instead of rereleasing Merry Christmas for the umpteenth time.

Re: Jake (56,194) (56,195) by B from USA
G, one supposedly bad single and remix isn't going to tarnish Mariah Carey's legacy.

Re: Isn't it a bliss to you right now? (56,190) (56,191) by B from USA
I love all of her music. I love MIAMTEC and Infinity. I just think she needs a new stylist and glam squad. I also think she needs new collaborators and producers. Happy Perez and Miguel would be excellent songwriting partners for her. Mark Ronson would be an excellent producer for her to work with. I'm thrilled she's writing with Diane Warren again.

Re: Mariah, the poster child for anti-smoking? (56,185) (56,188) by B from USA
Baby, I also applaude Mariah for telling off the smokers in the audience in Israel. She's Mariah Carey. She is The Voice. If she had any vocal issues it was probably caused because of how sensitive her voice is to cigarette smoke. Baby, I've missed you. Oh Baby, I've got a dependency. Always longing for another taste of your honey.

Re: Proud to be a Mariah fan (56,184) (56,187) by B from USA
When I was in high school I worked at a tanning salon. I played Charmbracelet nonstop every day until the customers complained.

Re: Proud to be a Mariah fan (56,178) (56,184) by B from USA
I'll always be proud to be a Mariah Carey fan. I've never been ashamed to be a Mariah Carey fan, even in high school during the Glitter and Charmbracelet eras.
