I have someone really close to my heart that is self destructing and no matter how much I try to help, they go back to their self destructing ways. Mariah tried to help Alison many times and every time Alison went back to her self destructing ways. Alison is an adult, Mariah can't force her to do anything. But she tried to help only to have her go back to doing exactly what she needs to avoid. Mariah is a mother now, so she also has to take into consideration how Alison's behavior will affect her children. Mariah couldn't help Alison despite trying many times, but she did the next best thing. She helped Alison's son. She is still in good terms with him because she was seen with him after her divorce went public and then he came to defend her when Morgan started throwing stones at Mariah. So don't just call someone heartless without knowing about them. We don't know the extent to which Mariah helped her family and others close to her. Have you considered that she might have gone to support Elton's AIDs foundation because it is a cause that is close to her heart and home because of Alison? Also why so salty about her ring? It was a gift, she didn't choose to take the 10 million away from Alison and get herself a massive ring, someone gave it to her and I am sure he knows more about her heart than you and I would ever know. (featuring J to the Lo and Nicki Minaj). She can sample SIO by using the intro "Hoo hoo hoo hoo" as "Who who who". (2) "Hasn't been popular since seventh grade (I hope they achieve longevity)" (featuring Madonna and Ariana Grande). We'll have the 2 additional number 1s to tie The Beatles. So far the only thing we got from the team is people to stop hating on MC as much but it is still not in the level of like Bieber (who people used to hate passionately but now all they can talk about is how amazing his new album is and all that, his management did great). I have mentioned it before, Mariah needs a strong team who is from the music industry and her current team is not really from this industry. Stella and Brian (is that the name, I forgot) are TV producers. They are good with mediocre reality TV shows like Paris Hiltons' My BFF, which was a washed up attempt especially after the success of "The Simple Life". Everyone was so hyped up and pumping during the release of "Infinity" talking about how the roll out was awesome, but was it? Yes the album cover (1 to Infinity) reveal was a little eventful, but that's it. The single release was messy. Like we were supposed to get video plus music on the same day, instead we ended up getting a cheap lyric video. The video didn't happen for weeks. In addition to Stella not being very powerful in the music industry, we have LA Reid, who is doing Lord knows what. I mean to choose "Infinity" (which is cute and all but not the greatest) as Mariah's comeback single and hype it up as the new WBT was misleading and backfired. I don't know how capable he was during TEOM, but he is a mess now. If this continues, her move to Epic won't really have the impact on her career that she thought would happen. Def Jam at least tried with her. People bring up how Def Jam basically ruined MIAM's chances but we can't really blame them only. Mariah announced way ahead before the album release that she is moving to Epic. (She didn't announce, she gave a huge hint.) Which may have caused DJ to be less motivated to promote her and instead focus on their other artists. Plus Mariah kept pushing the album release and by that time other artists on their roster were ready to release their material. So ya. Anyways, all in all Mariah's current team is messy and like you said the only achievements they have had are by milking off her brand name. (Friday 4 March 2016; 3:09)

JLo and Mariah "Epic" showdown (60,158) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Well LA signed her so are we now suspecting that LA is trying to sabotage Mariah? Come on you guys. JLo is not exactly hot property right now, she took whatever contract was offered to her. My concern is that Epic is not a strong label to begin with and in my opinion they would focus most of their resources on newer acts (and that too is not being handled well). So to sign two stars who are not exactly new, is a weird move. Like are they so confident that they can give both of them a new comeback? I am concerned that with JLo now being in Epic and her team knowing how to market her well, I hope it doesn't cause the label to take resources away from Mariah. I wasn't exactly happy with MC's move to Epic to begin with and now having JLo on the same boat, it looks like they'll have to fight over the resources. I don't know what LA was thinking. I mean I get it, it's a business and LA has to think about making money more and keep his personal relationship separate but I mean JLo is not exactly selling millions so what exactly made him sign her? In my post, when I said I didn't find her response offensive, I was solely taking into account only that response at that particular time. Everything she said or did earlier is irrelevant here because one doesn't need Einstein to understand that JLo and MC don't gel well. So I know what she said before, but when I said that was the best thing she could say without sounding bitchy or shading Mariah, it was solely (and I emphasize solely) about that one quote where she said why she didn't go to her concert. She is an A-list celeb like it or not, and they have images to maintain for their own brands. What did you expect her to say? Oh I don't like Mariah so I didn't go? Or I was scared Mariah would publicly ignore me at her show so I didn't go? When Mariah is asked about JLo she says "I don't know her" (which she then defends saying she only meant she didn't know JLo personally) but we know MC hates JLo, but will Mariah ever say "I hate her, she is a lying thief and given the chance I would grill her big booty?" No right? Why? Because Mariah is an A-list so she has her brand and she won't dive head first into a public insult. So same goes for JLo. In that time frame when she had to say why she didn't go, she could either say I didn't go because I hate Mariah or say I just couldn't make time (even though it is a lie). It's simple as that. They are not normal people like us that they can just say whatever comes to their head about the other person. What I found offensive in that segment was when JLo said "it was a long performance" (when she defended her texting scandal during the BBMAs). It wasn't a long performance and the way she said "long" kind of made is sound like she meant boring. So that's it. (Wednesday 2 March 2016; 10:49)

Either Irv Gotti or Ja Rule said it himself that Tommy called him up and asked him to record the same thing with JLo. It was all Mariah's vision, but Tommy asked them to recreate it with JLo and then released it quickly. It went to #1, so imagine how pissed Mariah must have been. (Wednesday 2 March 2016; 5:14)

(I didn't watch the segment yet, I am basing my opinion on your post.) I mean she can't just say I didn't go because we are feuding, and I don't know how Mariah would react if JLo did go to her show. I mean would she stand for a picture with JLo? Would JLo risk a "I don't know her moment" at Mariah's show? So saying she had other engagements is the best way to say without sounding bitchy or without shading Mariah. Would I love for all the Vegas ladies to go support each other and throw the feuds out? Yes. But if we are to focus on this particular response, I think it has been handled well. I am more interested in why Andy is so obsessed with Mariah and her feuds. (Tuesday 1 March 2016; 10:32)

The red carpet goddess and the eye situation (60,087) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I will start off by saying MC looked really good at the event. Her waist is tiny, I liked the asymmetrical shape of the gown (I do wish she would leave black behind for a while). Her hair had the effortless glam situation and it was gorgeous, unlike some of her unflattering curls (no not the natural ones, she just has moments where her hairstylist gives her bad curls). The necklace, I'm not feeling it. She had the very Butterfly-Rainbow era look going on here. However I get the eye situation M mentioned. I don't think it's something permanent, I think they are doing something wrong with the makeup that's why in the shots where she is looking straight ahead, her left eye seems a little closed up as you can see here. Regardless, I wouldn't worry about it, it happens to me too sometimes. So blame it on the camera. I see her team took yet another one of our suggestions, and got rid of those bad eyelashes and we have more natural ones now. I absolutely love how she looks here. So beautiful. Very 2013. I think it would have been better if she released a 2 part album and named one of it "Me. I Am Mariah" and part 2 would be "The Elusive Chanteuse". I loved TAOLG as a title. Sounds more matured and fits the theme of the album better. MIAM didn't really fit the album because the album didn't really define her, it was more about the place she was in emotionally at that time (heartbroken and trying to move on from it) so TAOLG was perfect (I wish she didn't have a meltdown over the name leak). Her previous albums usually had a meaning. To name some, "Butterfly" was about her finally being free, "Rainbow" was named after she saw 2 rainbows together and also because she said she used different textures in the songs. "Charmbracelet" was named because of the bracelet she wore (which either belonged to her grandmother or was a replica of it, I forgot which). TEOM was her coming into her own and taking control of her life (a Butterfly part 2 if you will, but this time fierce) and so on. So yes, I can't wait to hear what she has in mind now. It's one of my favorite stage ensembles of Mariah. She looks like a vision of perfection and so angelic. Every bit of the superstar diva that she is. This along with this white outfit she wore in the same year, but not in AI (it was the BET Awards), are both so beautiful, I can't even deal with it. The black outfit she wore to the finale. is also divine. I love how she looks so confident and is like moving around showing off her body. This dress makes her look more edgy and sexy (compared to the innocent angelic performance dress). I don't get why even after having the same stylist now, she fails at delivering the fashionista moments she was delivering in 2013. I think one reason for that can be that since she was on TV weekly at that time, designers would send her clothes to get exposure. I don't know. Why not just hire the O.G. goddess and have her be the new face of Miss Dior. After campaigning (and then succeeding) in getting Mariah to be the face of MAC, we gotta start a campaign for a major fashion house (I am eyeing Versace/Gucci/Louis Vuitton/Balmain/Chanel to take our elusive chanteuse and make her the face of one of their lines. Re: The expected single (60,028) (60,033) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Well since Mariah said "we are doing different things at the moment", in reference to Beyonce, it might mean the single is Mariah only, but she also said "I love Beyonce, she is super talented and I would work with her anytime", and that is what Miguel said about Mariah right before they dropped #Beautiful and rumors were swirling that they have collaborated. So I don't even know. Beyonce's next single will apparently drop in March. When MC said there "may be" a new single "soon" I thought maybe this is it. But I don't know. The whole "Hearts Down" title sounded to be like a fierce upbeat girl power song, or hey it might be a ballad. Anyways let's hope we get some news soon. (Friday 26 February 2016; 12:22)

I don't think Mariah would ever agree to a reality show, since she dissed reality TV a few times. Like Marissa said I would honestly love to have cameras follow Mariah haha so that I get the feeling that I am moving with her, but for her sake and for her brand's sake, a full fledged reality TV show would destroy her image, so I hope it's not true. We have been expecting this ever since we heard they are filming something called "A Butterfly In Vegas" and that Stella and her business partner has an unscripted show deal with Mariah. P.S. I mean we could all totally me fooling ourselves, but really, MC and Bey taking the photo, then TMZ reporting they talked about a duet together, and I know, I know, artists saying "oh gosh we should totally do a duet together" is the normal people equivalent of "oh gosh we should totally hang out sometimes", but hey Mariah was recently photographed with Lady Gaga (with whom can we please get a collaboration?) and Katy Perry and yet we never heard any rumors about them talking about a rumor. So that followed by news Mariah confirmed the other day that she doesn't know about an album but there is a single coming soon, and now rumors about Beyonce releasing a secret album, it just all seems to come into place. Or a lamb can hope. I mean we know MC might not have had time to record new stuff for her own album but it'll just take a few hours for her to go and lay down her vocals as a featured artist. But then I wonder would Mariah really dish about her duet to OK TV? The whole "Mariah dishes on rumored collaboration" can be just a simple "no we are not" for all we know haha. But please please let this be true. "But I'm scared and I'm nervous, I don't wanna be hurt, because if it's true then it has potential to be number 1."
