But I am all for a Mariah-Calvin collaboration. I too was wondering why she had "Superstar" written on the disc she is sitting on the poster for the Euro tour. Also, if it is true, I hope Mariah doesn't break down over the title leak and abandon the project or postpone it like she did with MIAM, which destroyed whatever chance she had of getting some success out of it. Re: Stella (58,639) (58,643) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter May, when I said I am tired of "seeing her kids everywhere, every country Mariah goes to" and when I question if they don't have school, I meant Stella's kids, not Mariah's. Of course Mariah's kids will go with her. I meant I am tired of seeing Stella's kid go everywhere Mariah is heading. Be it at Paris, Aspen, Vegas, Malibu or even random places in NY. She was even there when Mariah went to dinner with Packer at Nobu and also on the holiday she went with Packer in Italy. So that it strange and weird. I am all for Stella-Mariah partnership. I think Stella did a splendid job of bringing Mariah back from disaster but it's also unnecessary for her to take her kids on the job all the time. That's just my opinion. I mean come on this song is charting steadily on Billboard since 1806, even after the fact that back in 94 it wasn't even released as a proper single. This song's success is on a whole other level. More than that I am tired of seeing her kids everywhere, every country Mariah goes to. Don't they have school? I am so proud of Mariah and I hope this shuts up the ignorant headlines that were popping up a while back that Mariah has been dethroned by some new Christmas song, whereas they didn't specify it was only in the retail stores. It was off and she had plenty of room for improvement. I think she also kept shaking her head a whole lot which was not necessary. But overall I enjoyed the movie as a cheesy Christmas TV movie. A Christmas Melody (58,595) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Just finished watching the movie. It was cute and fun. Let's not try to drag it down because it was never meant to be an Oscar winning movie. So I'll take it for what it is, a cute, cheesy, family oriented movie. It did a pretty good job. However my hope still remain that Mariah gets a role in a major budget movie or at least gets the main song in the sound track of a major movie. Best bet for that to happen as soon as possible is of course the "Beauty and the Beast" live action movie. (Monday 21 December 2015; 9:48)

She seemed to be in a good place with Nick too, I won't lie, she looked genuinely in love with him. But I guess with Packer it's more stable since they are closer in age range and they are both reserved about their personal life, something Nick wasn't. Nick will probably simmer down when he is older and more matured, but that's another story. I wish Mariah and "Jimmy Pack" (which is her nick name for him) all the best. This is one season where whether you love or hate her, you have to acknowledge her Christmas queen status. So I feel that Mariah can bank on it and release non-holiday songs/albums during this time too, to ride on the publicity she gets during the time frame of October-December. Just a thought. It's a mess. Mariah's on the other hand looks legit because hers are candid shots. But yes to them bikini shots in the snow, water, heck hot tub, I don't care, but we need them. The case of the shrinking waist line (58,361) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Umm how did this happen? Look at that killer waist line. Mariah has been looking all sorts of gorgeous lately (not that she is ever ugly but you get what I mean). She is coming to snatch everyone's wigs (or real hair, which is rare in Hollywood, but whatever). Her fashion is on point, her makeup (which in the middle kind of was a little off) is now flawless and fierce, her hair is like sunshine (love the big waves, compared to the worn out mermaid curls). I have to know who is dressing her nowadays. They are getting all the clothes right. They fit her like a glove and bring out the best off her body. I love the dress she is wearing in this photo. She has lost so much weight and is fast approaching her E=MC2 era look (yes I think she is at her 2013 level now). And y'all actually thought that she gave up on her looks (maybe even I thought that we won't get the 2013/ 2008 look again). But damn did she shut everyone up. The queen is back everyone. Now all we need is a huge musical comeback, and if anyone knows how to make a comeback, it is the Mariah-freaking-legendary-Carey. *ends fan girl moment* (Saturday 12 December 2015; 11:21)

It reminds me of her "Glitter" era shoot from which the "Loverboy" cover came to be. Not the face (the face is very TEOM era) but I don't know why the photoshoot reminds me of the "Loverboy" cover shoot. Anyways I feel like this is a new shoot, maybe the one David La Chapelle teased us about? The similarities could come from the photographer being the same. I don't know. Pap photos vs video (58,342) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I think we can also safely say she is at least a couple of pounds lighter than what we see in the paparazzi photos. In the pap photos of her making her way to Busta's concert, she looks wider, but if you check out the video from the same night of her performance wearing the exact same dress, she looks way thinner and very close to the instagram shot she posted. It's good to see her feeling confident again and hopefully people will now keep quiet about her giving up and not caring about her looks. (Friday 11 December 2015; 3:06)

I love this dress that she has been wearing to the show, along with the sexy red number. The gold dress just hugs her and let's go at the perfect places. Her hair is perfection. That skin is flawless. Like girl bye, I can't deal with these high standards of beauty she is setting. The woman doesn't age. She is looking better than ever with each passing day but what is adding to her beauty the most is that she looks like she is finally happy and free in some way. I said this before, and I will say it again, she better get a music video done real soon and release it to rub it on people's faces. Plus can we please get started on the much delayed photo shoots. I will agree with you if you say her vocals are not the same as what it was in early 90s, but even then she is one of the best singers in the world and that's not just according to lambs. Of course her studio vocals will be near perfect, because it is recorded in a controlled environment. She can take breaks in between, she can take her warm tea and throat candies and anything that helps her voice while she is at the studio. Heck the temperature is probably set to give her the best for her throat. Yes some parts are probably fixed but those may almost be negligible compared to what the current hot artists do. The studio version has to be the best version because no one is stupid to send half assed vocals/production on an album or radio. No one expects a studio version and live version to be the same. When she is on stage she is bound to make mistakes, she is not perfect, she never claimed to be. (Tuesday 8 December 2015; 22:50)

That being said, maybe her team could have informed the crew that she won't make it, but it doesn't justify the shame she had to go through. I can understand some angry staff member leaking the footage, but NBC as a corporate entity should have stood behind Mariah, an artist they called in to get people more interested in the event. I heard that NBC replaced the official video of the performance with the mic feed once it leaked. That was in bad taste too, especially since even in her broken state Mariah's interview on their channel got them millions in live viewers. Just saying, one shouldn't mix their personal feelings with business. (Thursday 3 December 2015; 17:35)

Steve Harvey (58,178) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter So I just watched the interview (watch the link if you are interested). I really liked it. I saw a lot of lambs on other boards talking about how Mariah looked unfocused or not interesting or whatever. I thought the interview went great. Mariah was sweet, slightly funny and classy and cute. The interview was fun to watch. She answered stuff directly and made small jokes. I laughed when she threw shade at Glitter. (Mimi get a hold of yourself, Glitter is a lamb cult classic, stop bashing it. Ugh these people. *like Roc*) Finally a long interview with Mariah. I really hope though that we get another long serious interview of her like the ones she did with Oprah or Larry King or Barbara Walters. But for now, I am satisfied with this interview. I think NBC did her wrong by not backing her up and letting her get embarrassed like this. I would however like her to sing it somewhere else maybe which will be televised and not just Beacon because Mariah Carey is not done with this business yet, she is just getting started.
