Do you think Mariah has another #1 in her? (96,928) by Libra Lamb from USA I was really hoping that Mariah would pull through again with another Billboard Hot 100 #1. What do you guys think? I'm wanting to stay positive and supportive but I don't want to be delusional. I guess anything is possible. She's still an amazing writer, producer and can sing circles around most of today's entertainers. Cheers to her for her many accomplishments to date. She is still very impressive and I'm always proud to be a Lamb. I live with my husband in the Atlanta area if anyone else does too and one day wants to meet up, after the pandemic, of course. When I see anyone putting others down I feel the need to step in and defend them. You're absolutely right though, I should take my own advice and just ignore it and keep it moving. Obsessed and in love? I think not. Very very funny though, made me laugh out loud. I just wanted to apologize because I accidentally told you to shut up. By the way, I've been coming here for almost 20 years, without posting much, I come here for news on MC. I even contributed to the book that never happened. But I noticed that initially I was credited, then one day Eric took credit for my contribution. He must have found his own copy of the VH1 Super Audio CD because he replaced my name with his but it's okay because I'm probably not the only one this happened to. I also noticed that my messages are not being posted when defending my comments, yet there are ignorant and insensitive comments that continue. I guess if I had my own website I could choose only the messages I agree with instead of being impartial. I have been coming here for many years, many times a day, but there's many other places I can get news on MC which I think will be best for me. Wishing all of you well, deuces. You really don't know anything about the everyday problems that Americans face, such being murdered and terrorized just for the color of their skin. So as much as you pretend to know about the topic, you don't know crap about our citizens being victimized just for not being a while cisgender male. We need a lot changes in this country and I don't feel that Trump wanted to represent all Americans, only the ones that agreed with him. I already love it and it does remind me of IKWYW, it’s like Part 2. I hope she follows this with another original album (after Christmas passes). We need club remixes for this new song ASAP. Re: Firecracker vs. Cameo Loverboy (96,395) (96,397) by Libra Lamb from USA I like both versions of the song but I prefer the Cameo version. It has been one of my favorite singles from Mariah since 2001. The Firecracker version is good too because it’s very catchy but I like it less than than Cameo version, sounds a little disjointed, sorry about it. Overall Glitter is some of her best work and where she had lots of creative freedom, even the songs that were straight out of the 80s she found a way to make them her own. Mariah's legacy (96,385) by Libra Lamb from USA First things first, I deleted my account on this board a few years ago but now I'm back. I've not posted in a while because of all the negativity on this board but I've learned to simply ignore and skip those messages from those people when I see their avatars. Mariah Carey is a living legend. Her music has inspired many people and will continue to do so after we are no longer here. Of course her voice has changed a lot but her passion for writing, recording and producing music she loves has not. We may not love some songs that she has released but they are still far superior than anything else being recorded out there by other artists. I personally am very excited about the new book, The Rarities and anything else coming our way this Christmas. I will always support her no matter what anyone here or anywhere says about her because she is a true living legend and there's no one that compares or even comes close to her creative genius. And simply because I am a grown man and no one tells me what to do, think or feel about anything. Period. Much love to all the true fans out there. (Wednesday 21 October 2020; 14:51)
