Why? (51,752) by B from USA The artwork for MIAMTEC was taken when #Beautiful was filmed, almost a year before its release. #1's To Infinity isn't overly photoshopped. Her legs are long and musclar. Mariah isn't a twig. She looks beautiful and has posted photos lately that clearly show she has lost weight. Let's not forget that posing can hide a few extra pounds as can lighting. You would think Mariah Carey was Aretha Franklin in a two piece according to some post. I understand that some of you are frustrated but this is extreme. Calm down. #1's To Infinity (51,736) by B from USA I understand that some of you are disappointed that Infinity is the only new song but what were you expecting? I knew the duets weren't happening. A duets album is a last ditch effort and Mariah Carey is still too relevant for that. I'm excited that Mariah Carey is releasing a new single. Billboard describes the new single as breathtaking. When was the last time Billboard said something that positive about a Mariah Carey single? She is promoting this updated release and her residency simultaneously. Has any of the fans who have pre-ordered the album said what the special gift is? I was hoping the demo was included but I think if it's released it deserves to be the focus of the release not an addition to a compilation. (Monday 13 April 2015; 18:55)

Infinity (51,515) by B from USA Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't We Belong Together described as a hybrid of One Sweet Day and Breakdown and the new single is being described as a hybrid of Migrate and Faded. If this is true I think it's an uptempo love song with a huge chorus and an earworm hook. Looks like Mariah is ready to silence her critics and get her throne back. Promo (51,498) by B from USA Mariah is on the cover of Vegas Player Magazine and she made the announcement on Ellen. I think the plan is to promote the residency and new single/video simultaneously. Makes sense since the single will be used to promote the reissue of #1's. It is also a great way to get Mariah's name back in the public gnat like attention span. Likely ticket sales are ahead of projections/predictions and M and Caesars are waiting until this single drops to start the blitz. (Thursday 9 April 2015; 2:57)

LC (51,485) by B from USA I agree Cindi Berger is past her prime as are other "power publicist" that came to prominence before social media became the dominant form of promotion. Mariah needs a social media wiz to handle her public relations. A live stripped down performance of one of her signature songs with the key lowered, to make it easier for her to sing the hell out of it, would be the best promo possible for Vegas. Cindi (51,480) by B from USA Honestly, I think this parting is for the best. Cindi might have helped Mariah during Charmbracelet but Medina and Reid were responsible for helping turn Mariah's image around. Cindi hasn't been doing Mariah any favors. I think these moves are being calculated and are part of a bigger plan that is being worked out behind the scenes. When Loverboy came out I was sixteen dating a twenty-four year, who would buy me gifts like a sugar daddy. When We Belong Together came out I had just broken up with my boyfriend. When Don't Forget About Us came out my ex told me that his girlfriend would call him and play it for him so I called and played/sang it to him, because we were each others first loves. When Obsessed came out I was being stalked by some loser that was literally obsessed with me. When Touch My Body came out it helped me seduce a man. A couple of months before the release of #Beautiful, before the title and teaser had even been revealed, a guy told me I was kind of beautiful. Mariah's song/singles have coincided with events in my life perfectly. I'm not making any of this up. Always Be My Baby: when the twenty-four year old broke up with me I was in my bedroom listening to ABMB and my first love came in and when I told him what had happened, he kissed me and we made love and years later he was at my brothers and he was going through his ringtones and he stopped at ABMB and let it play. I think some of these media outlets are taking Courtney Love's comments about channeling her inner Mariah for her character as Mariah wanting to be on the show. The facts in these articles are inaccurate. Yes, Mariah was ridiculed for Glitter. However, Mariah's acting in Wisegirls, Tennessee, Precious, and The Butler were/was praised by critics. She even won an award for acting for her performance in Precious. I hate articles and blogs that get the facts wrong or have no clue what their typing (writing) when it comes to Mariah Carey. It was also certified Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. Her thirteenth single to be certified Platinum. That is proof that Mariah Carey is still relevant and can easily redeem herself. During the opening night of Mariah's The Elusive Chanteuse Show she was clearly sick but the media and some fans claimed her voice was and is shot. Her voice is fragile but when rested and rehearsed she can still deliver live vocally. Mariah Carey knows what is at stake with her upcoming single, album, and residency. She's the last diva standing for a reason. She's more than her voice, she's a musical genius. She has written countless songs that are considered classics and she has two back to back Songs of the Decade: One Sweet Day and We Belong Together. (Monday 6 April 2015; 19:26)

Mariah looks stunning in her pink ensemble and Monroe is wearing a matching ensemble/skirt. Think (51,415) by B from USA Think before you jump to conclusions. Paparazzi take photos at weird angles. They do this to get the worst view possible. Mariah looks slim and happy in her Easter pics. I think the photographers caught her in an awkward position that made her look fat and gave her rolls. Plus they can easily photoshop on a few extra pounds. Especially when the headline is Mariah is eating her feelings. I can't wait for May 9th. I'm going to be in the second row on the second night of Mariah's residency with my little cousin.
