Plus MC's short but polite replies whenever Nick is brought up speaks volumes. She really doesn't want to talk about him or give him any more media space. When asked what she thinks of all the praises Nick has showered her with recently, she just replies "that's nice" and moves on. Two words, more effective than all the multiple post spree Nick is on. Another thing about Nick (53,193) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter The difference between Nick and Mariah regarding their roles as parents is that MC is doing whatever is needed for the kids' happiness without posting a million tweets/instagram posts about it. She isn't going around using Nick's pictures to show that she is being so friendly with Nick for her kids. She is doing whatever she has to do without declaring it to the world. Same can't be said about Nick. Why is it so important to post these for the world to see? I mean it's not like his kids are on instagram that it's for their benefit and by the time they are of the age to use these, they'll already know what is up so these are pointless. So just don't say anything, no positives, no negatives. I was just going through Nick's instagram and saw he posted a picture of a bag of Fritos. About Nick, while it's true he didn't say anything about MC publicly, he did go on joking about her in his shows even after MC went on and on about how she wants him to stop, he didn't say anything when his father made those disgusting statements supposedly directed at MC, he talked about his past sexual partners (when he could have refused to do so, I mean it's fine for a bachelor to say those not a married father of 2). As for him being famous before Mariah, I personally never heard his name before MC. I am also not hearing his name after MC except for when he mentions her name, or when he is grinding around (and Mc's name is dragged in) and when he is trying to cover MC's tattoo with an elabborate Jesus one. (Not saying he should keep the tattoo of MC though.. Anyways all this aside, good luck to all the parties involved. And love to you. (Monday 11 May 2015; 16:36)

I know MC said that she told him to go back to finish the video, but really how important is a video when your wife has suffered an injury which was apparently equivalent to get hit by a bus. Plus the video was never even released, so it wasn't that important after all and I think Nick can afford the best out there to edit the video while he stood by his wife while she got the scare of having to probably live with a paralyzed hand. In all honesty, I think MC said she told Nick to leave because she was saving face for herself and her marriage. Would anyone of you here leave your loved ones (even if they told you to) and go and finish a darn video if you knew that they were in a world of pain and at the risk of never recovering? Ethan, about her body, she lost all the weight before she met Nick. She got thin around 2007 while she dated Nick around 2008, so the weight theory is something I am not sure about. All the time MC was being blasted by the media the last year, Nick never came to her defense. There were no lovey-dovey notes left for her for the world to see. Nick's move is very calculative this time around. While the diss record got rave reviews, many people are also calling out Mariah for dissing the father of her children, so in comes Nick with all the love in the world because he knows he'll make headlines as the ex husband who is still respecting his ex-wife and posting one lovey-dovey thing after another while his "arrogant wife is dissing him publicly". Just another way to show he is the bigger person. I am sorry but no, I don't believe all these crap. MC is not perfect but I believe her when she says implicitly that Nick has put her through a lot of pain. Nick just probably thought that now that he has so many gigs lined up, he no longer needs MC. But since the divorce how much have we really heard about Nick except for when he is talking about MC? Even his hook ups are only getting media time because Mariah's name is coming into it. It is what it is. This is just Nick's way of getting media attention. When they got divorced, the majority of people said "good riddance for Nick, it must be hell to live with that demanding woman" because Nick always maintains an image that he is loving and caring and is "putting up" with MC's demands because he loves her. He was always portrayed as the victim and the bigger person. So now he is trying to do the same again, to show he is above MC because he doesn't have to diss her. But flashback to a few months earlier, what kind of respectable man drags his ex-wife's and mother of his children's name to a song where he is talking about banging multiple girls? He made headlines when he was promoting MC's song "Infinity" but really he had no idea it was about him. MC said so herself that even her good friends didn't hear the song until it was released. Like I said, I will honor your opinion, but I will still stand by mine and that is NC is only going public with his "over-flowing affection" because his gigs are drying up. Cannon (53,174) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Haha it's so hilarious seeing Nick continuously trying to get Mariah's attention. I mean at first it was annoying, but now it's just so pathetic that I can't help but laugh. While I respect that they both are keeping things civil for the kids, I am happy that MC has decided to no longer be in that cloud of confusion anymore. Her interview showed that she has decided to put that chapter behind her and that she is not interested in it anymore. That and also how she always gives very short but polite answers when they ask her about Nick. I mean she doesn't have to go out of her way and praise him to show that all is fine. Her main focus is her kids not getting affected by the divorce so she really doesn't have to bother letting the world now how "buddy-buddy" she is with Nick. It's just not necessary and it's not true either because obviously MC still doesn't like the idea of him being a part of her life but she is sacrificing that for the kids' benefit. Nick on the other hand needs to constantly keep talking about MC, constantly "@-ing" at her. The gigs are probably drying up for him. I don't even feel bad saying that because he was the one who broke her heart and filed for divorce. MC was right when she said "lost the best you ever had" because it is so true, he may get younger girls, hotter girls (although I have yet to see one) but he will never get anyone again who is a celebrity of Mariah's level. I can bet on that. So Nick just shoo away and let the woman heal her heart. (Monday 11 May 2015; 2:32)

Marcus (53,168) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter This might be a stretch and/or wishful thinking, but I think if Mariah can give a stellar performance of Infinity at the BBMAs, she can indeed get Infinity to chart back up. BBMAs is a big platform and performing the song there is like re-introducing the song so basically like a new release date. If she can just manage to grab the attention of the GP with the song while performing it there, she can very well get more downloads. The music video has been delayed for way too long. I get it that maybe they were trying to include the Vegas concert in it, but I can't help but be a little worried. MC and Brett were uber confident when they talked about the video in their impromptu radio call in and went as far as to say that "it will blow your minds". So at this point I really can't figure out what they have that is going to be so fantastic, but I have my fingers crossed and I hope that the music video creates another buzz to increase streamings and downloads. There's only so many times a non-lamb will stream a lyric video. Giving them some buzz worthy visuals in the form of the music video may be helpful especially if it has something that will go viral. I wonder what Sony's next plan is. I mean I don't think they'll let this single go to waste but after what happened the last few times I can't help but be nervous. In the videos she gets distracted by her angles, she is more aware and on guard and all. Mail Online (53,138) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Wow that interview was so intense. I got all teary. I think when a person becomes such a big star, we tend to look at them differently. I mean we forget that they are humans too. To see Mariah and her amazing houses, expensive vacations, a closet bigger than my apartment and jewels to put kings to shame, makes one feel that she has everything in the world, what could she possibly be sad about? Also since MC hardly talks about her personal life, we just get to hear what the media cooks up, that is a major diva with big demands, a has been superstar with deteriorating voice, an insecure jealous woman and what not. I am so happy that she did this interview. It just shows what a bad place she has been in the past few years. I love you Mariah, and so does the rest of your lambily. You have saved so many lives without even meeting them, you are truly a gift from God. Wishing you all the happiness and good health. You deserve every success you got and yet so much more. The articles always made me feel like the writers have definitely been sneaking around in the forums. The only time I can buy them actually writing the stories from their own is when MC clearly messes up on stage or like the isolated audio incidents. Other than that 80% of the time, Mariah's fans are unknowingly bringing her down. The articles are usually going to only pick up the negative things posted and then run with it without bothering to fact check or see if other fans are feeling positive. So please, it's fine to criticize here and there but be a little considerate about what you post. I can assure you that MC's team and the hungry media (especially ones trying to bring her down) are always reading what we write especially on this board. So let us not kill our own idol's career. Mariah has made a lot of changes recently some directly from suggestions we all have discussed. Let the lambs not be the reason for Mariah's fall. (Friday 8 May 2015; 16:49)

Oh what has happened to the lamb-dom (53,095) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter When shows like Wendy Show and TMZ (two shows that have consistently dissd her for years now) and even the GP start to rave about Mariah and her show while her fans keep tearing MC apart, I think we can say we have hit rock bottom. I was waiting for Wendy to say "but" and add a snide comment to compensate for all the praises, but she didn't, instead she went on to rave about her outfits, her body and her confidence with her body and her voice. Even going as far as to say that MC probably cracked her voice on purpose all these months to fool people which lead to discussions about her. Now while we know MC did have vocal problems a while back so the struggles weren't on purpose, but still at least a semi-hater is coming up with excuses to suggest that her voice was never gone. No, not because they observed her and found out, but because they lurk in Mariah fan forums and since some fans write all her tricks down in such vivid details, you all make their works really simple. I swear, I feel 80% of the times, everything bad caught on about MC is because her own fans details those in fan sites. I didn't read the NYT articles because I heard it's really harsh, but I can bet the cushion on my couch that they read a fan's post and picked up on this. Because no non-fan would know this. They covered whatever back up or lip sync was used very well this time so it seems seamless. (Friday 8 May 2015; 11:22)

Like I said, I respect people more when they can weigh in on the good and bad and it was inevitable that people will be divided in their opinions every time Mariah releases a new song. Just because majority love it doesn't make you a bad person for not liking it. I know you will still have faith in her and you will still try and support her. That's what we lambs do. Two complaints though (53,051) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I have two complaints about the show as of now and I think these are very much under Mariah's control so she can make necessary changes. 1) Mariah, honey, lose that Azzedine Alaia dress right this instant. Take it out, and use it to ignite a bon fire if you will. The dress is bad, I mean really bad. What is that collar and that hideous fringe-like what have you at the bottom? No just no, this has to go. Mr. Alaia, what were you thinking? 2) The video dahlin', give me the darn video (ok so this isn't show related per se). But please this time more movements. I saw the preview of the video and yes you look gorgeous, but I only saw you sitting and running towards the camera. I'll admit both shots were gorgeous and I loved the light effect they did when you were running so that it looks like her hair is glowing, but there has to be more. A storyline. You and Brett can make magic happen so please . (Friday 8 May 2015; 0:41)

Vegas drama (53,049) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter If anyone says anything bad about the Vegas performance, I rebuke it. Haha, no really, I think she put up a great show. Look this show is not for her core lambs only. Many people will be attending the show, some of them may not even know all her 18 #1's and some heard about how she is labelled the songbird supreme and heard her uber popular songs and so they want to witness her magical voice in person. My point is talking about lip-syncing here is pretty pointless, because this show's focus really is to show the "perfect" Mariah to re-introduce her to the world, to the GP. For that they have to ensure that no stones are left unturned when it comes to her putting up a stellar show that will keep people talking. This is Vegas, not a generic Mariah Carey concert. Everything has to be perfect, and since MC's voice is quite unpredictable (because of its fragility) they have to have back up. She can't afford flaws in such a show because people will tear her apart, the GP won't just be fine with MC changing up her songs to suit her current voice. They want the big voiced 90s Mariah. We as fans may want her to sing in her current capacity but GP will want to hear the songs the way they heard it on the radio. If anyone thinks she should sing all her 18 #1's (some of which are the hardest songs ever written) at a go and not lip sync at all, well you are setting up unrealistic expectations. Plus the girl is trying, give her a chance. The world is rejoicing her return, let us also take a moment and be thankful for all the masterpieces she has given us by putting her most valuable asset (her voice) at stake. She sounds so good. We'll hopefully get more clips of songs so you can tell me what you think of the singing parts. Abraham, like Orkun said, I am happy to see the new you. Really you were always a sweetheart, but it's nice to see you are being critical too. Haha I know it sounds weird (I mean since when is that good) but I hope you know what I mean. When I saw you post something negative after the release of "Infinity", I actually did a double take, like wait a minute, is uber positive Abraham criticizing MC. I hope this message doesn't come out wrong, I'm just trying to say I respect your opinion and the fact that you don't blindly fall for everything MC releases is something I can respect. No one is perfect, so MC is no exception. I just have more respect for people who know can weigh in on the good and bad. I love "Infinity" but I can totally respect the fact that you are not feeling it. I will regret posting this tomorrow. Again, I really really hope you got what I meant.
