WMA (43,493) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Mariah will be opening WMAs and will be honored with the Pop Icon Award. I am sooo excited. It's gonna be a perfect setting. She can sing her new songs. And since WMA's are watched by people from different age groups especially the younger generation, she can attract the attention from them. This will help boost her CD sales. Again, I do hope she sings new stuff and not her old hits medley .Please Mariah don't let this opportunity go to waste. (Monday 12 May 2014; 22:14)

The weight must not have been an issue since it will be edited either ways. Using pictures from 2008 and the shape magazine shoot is not fun anymore. I want new shoots. Opinions on opinions (43,437) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter 1) To those saying that Mariah's recent album cover looks like nothing her and that shows she doesn't like living in reality. Show me one celebrity who chooses to not photoshop themself. Did you look at JLo's new album cover? She's been photoshopped so much she looks like she has demon eyes. Britney being so young is photoshopped so much that her real face looks nothing like her album covers. Madonna anyone? Even the gorgeous Ms Jolie. You can't expect MC to put a flawed picture for a cover. That's just not Hollywood and then their will be trolls talking about the flaws and picking her apart. 2) I don't know if Mariah is hung up on Luis or not, but it has been stated many times that the name Moroccan was chosen because that's where Nick proposed to her. 3) Mariah's face was really swollen on Letterman. Usually her face looks somewhat swollen in pics without her makeup on, but on Letterman she had full makeup and still it looked really bloated. I hope it goes back to normal. 4) I am not a fan of the Japanese cover, I never really liked the Charmbracelet cover and as someone pointed out her arm have been messed up. Love in this club Part 2 (43,372) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I don't know if you all knew this, but Usher wanted Mariah to do the female vocals for this song. But for some reason she ended up not doing it. Which is sad, because I really liked the original and Part 2. Mariah would have sounded beautiful on the track and her vocal chemistry with Usher is great. Anyways so Beyonce ended up doing it. (Thursday 8 May 2014; 23:04)

Japan tracklist (43,350) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I found it really weird that America the Beautiful was on the deluxe CD. I was looking forward to some new songs in the international release. Mariah had 4 years, and she gives that song on an international release? No offense to Americans, I am not judging anyone's nationality, but I think a lot of US lambs are also wondering the same. Yes it's true that American culture has inspired more or less every nation, even here in my country, but come on really? (Thursday 8 May 2014; 13:36)

Mariah (43,349) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter From the little portion of the interview I saw, Mariah is again talking about how she doesn't care about the single, she wants the album to be heard as a whole. I love and respect Mariah but I call bull**** on that. Come on Mariah, you attempted 3 separate singles (I am excluding TAOLG as it was "for the fans") to launch this album, and everytime it didn't hit #1 she kept delaying the album. Let's not kid ourselves, she's been trying to release the album since 2012 with all the MC Summer 2012 campaign and what not. However as soon as triumphant bombed, Mariah vanished and the song was later dubbed vaguely as "a song for Nick" or "buzz single". Then came a string of other singles, and apart from Beautiful each time a single didn't do well it was called "for the fans" and what not. Moreover she keeps talking about how she has 18 #1s, which in all honesty she should be proud of. So why pretend that you don't care for a hit single, when you really do. Mariah could have had a hit from atleast one of the 4 singles (including TAOLG) if only she would have promoted it more. Triumphant even had potential eventhough lambs hated it, but it was catchy and nowadays catchy sells. TAOLG, often cited as for the fans, wasn't for the fans. If that was the case she would have just released it on fb and announced it on twitter and whatever. She instead did multiple radio interviews, Fallon and even had a better cover photo than her official singles. Something went wrong and it got abandoned. (Thursday 8 May 2014; 13:32)

The appearances / single (43,305) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter So Mariah doesn't have a single ready in time for her letterman appearance. I do hope she has one for the Today show concert atleast. Otherwise all these appearances would not be of much use. Had she released the album right after #Beautiful, it would have gotten a lot of attention as the song was completely fresh. But like it or not her latest singles didn't do well in the charts (although I personally loved them) so to kind of relaunch the album, she really needs a new single. What can she possibly talk about in the Letterman interview that we didn't hear of already? I hope she performs new songs on the Today show concert, I really want this album to do well. Left over songs / promotion (43,245) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I so hope that what you all are saying about Mariah releasing a part 2 of this album is true. It would be awesome. She was working on this album for 4 years and must already have loads of songs in it, especially ones that was on the original version of the album - TAOLG. She did mention she added 3 songs so that means she probably scrapped off 3 other songs. So yes, the thought of a sequel excites me. Secondly, I was thinking what if Mariah has surprises planned for us for each day of the month. She creating one buzz after another since the end of April. Starting with the surprise Billboard cover, then all the other magazines. Then she drops the big bomb - album details for which we lambs were dying. It doesn't stop there, she practically shuts down Times Square. She is taking over Fuse on the 6th along with being featured in CNN's leading women. She will be on Letterman on the 7th. Today Show concert on 16th. But who is to say she will not have more surprises in between these appearances? I think Mariah realized how some of her awesome singles didn't perform the way it should have since she didn't promote it and so now she is coming out in full force. I hope she announces a new single too. I am being greedy but hey can you blame me? I love me some Mimi. (Saturday 3 May 2014; 3:09)

There are many files on YouTubes which are basically combining the ringtones that Mariah recorded for Pepsi back in 2005-06 exclusively. Mariah has been guarding the materials to the new album very closely and I am sure not many people have heard them, apart from those close to her and obviously the label. She didn't even play the new songs at the conferences she had so the chances of leaks are pretty slim. (Friday 2 May 2014; 14:57)

Me. I am Mariah (43,210) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter The album is now at #6 on the iTunes USA charts. I hope it steadily climbs to number 1. This album has to be big for Mariah because lots of people are just writing her off and she doesn't deserve it. She is one of the most talented vocalists in the world and people need to be reminded of it. I am glad Mariah has started to promote the album pulling over the top stunts that only a diva of M's caliber can pull. She's got the articles buzzing about her magazine covers and her album cover and album name. Whether they are praising her or cringing at the photoshop overload, it doesn't matter. No publicity is bad publicity (well unless it's really very bad). I don't mind the photoshop. M is, as we all know, naturally gorgeous, but if they decide to make the covers more "magical" I see no problem with it. I loved the album cover. A lot of people are talking about how weird the name is. And I am like whatever, it's perfect. As long as people keep talking, the general people will start getting curious, and that will give the album a chance to fly all the way to number 1. I also hope she picks up atleast one if not multiple number 1s from this album. We gotta aim for The Beatles' record now dahlin' and only Mimi can do it. (Friday 2 May 2014; 14:36)

Anyways I agree with the other person who wrote below that apart from Fabulous we heard about all the other guests. So who is the surprise guest that she isn't supposed to talk about? Can't be dembabies because she mentioned that song and in the same interview said that there is one more guest she can't talk about. So is it Mary J Blige? But didn't we know about it from 2010? I can't remember which one, but it was there and the description was there too. I can't remember whether it was a TV interview or whether it was a magazine spread, but I definitely did see that picture before. So it's not a publicity stunt. Me. I am Mariah (43,116) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Wow to finally have a name and tracklist with the covers just very well got me speechless for a while. Yes, yes the release date tucked nicely at the end of the video did make me momentarily sad but hey I think it's for the best. Will give Mariah enough time to pull together her promotion strategy, be everywhere (in caps lock) so that everyone knows she's back. I loved both the covers. I would love to see the outtakes from this shoot, I think it's one of her best (the cover of Billboard and TAOLG is from the same shoot). Now that she announced the details, people will probably shut up about Mariah copying Beyonce. M is so smart, while she made us all think she was talking about Marilyn's piano, she instead went and took out a personal belonging. I personally like this titlte of the album than TAOLG. TAOLG sounded like she's giving up, where as Me. I am Mariah sounds like hey b**** (to all the other female artists) I am back to reclaim by throne. Moveover. It's simple, yet it sounds bold and confident. "The elusive chanteuse" adds a little mystery element to it. I noticed that Roc and Roe are not mentioned as featured guest on Supernatural. I am glad she included the 2 remixes from MOAIA, I already got to hear the other leaked remixes from that album and I loved them, and I was interested in these 2 versions. People may hate MOAIA but I loved it. It I never skipped even one track on that album. Now that release is pushed, she has time for a new single. *fingers crossed* Thirsty. Random thoughts (43,054) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Mariah looks really good on the cover of Wonderland, although I do wish she didn't feel the need to take off her clothes so much. But hey, whatever, it's her choice to make. So yes, she looks hot but does the cover layout seem a little amateurish to anyone else? I really didn't hear about this magazine before (we don't get it here) but are the layouts always like this? It seems like someone just put random things on it. And although M looks good, something is missing, maybe the stark white background is a little bland? I don't know, something just seems missing. But moving on, so Mariah is listed to be on Letterman, CNN's Leading Women and the Today show concert. I hope we see a lot of her in starting from the first of May. If she wants her album to do well, she obviously needs to show up almost everywhere to let people know about it. I am sure a lot of people, even some fans are not aware of the album. She needs to really promote it and not leave it midway like she did with the singles. Beautiful was such a lost opportunity, it reached number 15 with almost no publicity, and had the potential to crack top 10 if not top 5 had she promoted it more. Same with You're Mine. Some lambs didn't like it (but I loved it and a lot of non lambs loved it too) so that song doesn't deserve to be at 88. It was just due to the lack of promotions. Magazines (43,037) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter In the last 4 days Mariah has been on 4 magazine covers. I'm happy so see that she's getting covers again. I hope she's on the cover of more magazines leading upto the album release. But she should seriously do some photoshoots. Apart from the wonderland cover all the others are old pictures. Just a few more days untill May 6th. I don't know whether the album will be released on schedule or not but I sure am excited. I may get annoyed every now and then but I love Mariah dearly, her songs have really helped me through many times, be it happy or sad, so I'll always support her. I don't care when she releases it, but I am sure when she does, it'll have great songs, her albums never disappoint. (Tuesday 29 April 2014; 21:40)

Magazines (42,976) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I am happy that just before the album is coming out, MC is being featured on the cover of magazines atleast. But why isn't MC doing promotional photos particularly for these magazines? The picture for the Observer is from 2012's or 2011's shoot for Shape magazine. The picture on Billboard is an outtake from her album shoot. Apparently she was supposed to have a photoshoot and sit-in interview for Billboard but Roc kicked her on the nose the night before and her nose swelled up somewhat. But if Mimi can perform with a broken arm, couldn't she do a small photoshoot and let them photoshop away the flaws? I don't like it when they use old photos for new events. A probable pushback (42,959) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter Someone on this board mentioned a few posts below that the Observer states the album is out late May. I just went through the scans of Mariah's Billboard interview and in one of the pictures (the coloured version of the cover) there are 3 circles, one that has July 2013 written in it and then cut off with a red line (meaning cancelled), the second with May 6, 2013 written in it and then another red line through it and a final circle with the words "release date late May" or something like that. So either Mariah's management is trying to keep the fans guessing or the album will be out later in May. At this point I don't care, I just want good music and chart success for her. Also, it's written in the interview that the cover for the magazine is an outtake from her album shoot so fingers crossed for an equally fresh and classy album cover. And about people constantly talking about not buying the album, look it's your decision, but there's no need to come here every second day and start talking about how you won't buy it. If you decide not to buy, good for you, if not, move on. We are all disappointed/ anxious about the lack of information regarding the album, but let's not forget we have loved this woman for years and if she is not giving out details, she maybe has a plan and wants it to go accordingly. Album (42,937) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I can't wait for more details on the album and its release. Mariah spent so much time on it, I expect really good songs. But more than that I'm just "thirsty" for some new MC songs. I won't bother trying to guess the name of the album, it can be anything, so I'll just wait. I hope the cover is nice and classy. I still am rooting for Beyonce to be the surprise guest star. I think a duet with the two of them can burn the charts down. The Justin Bieber rumour, I don't know if it's true, but even if he is on the album I don't mind as long as he isn't the prized surprise guest. This album is really important for Mariah and I really hope it goes to number one and also that she picks up atleast one number 1 single from this album which will definitely get her back to the top where she deserves to be. She said that Stevie is on the album but only plays the harmonica, he has no vocals (which is sad, it would have been great if he did sing). Blah (42,835) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter G.G. I agree with you, if not any details Mariah can atleast write something addressing the fans. Instead she is completely ignoring us. I love Mariah, but this is annoying me to the extreme. With about 2 weeks left, we are left blank. Why did she suddenly decide to pull a Beyonce? (Assuming that's what all the silence is about.) Why announce a date and then disappear and let websites do mysterious things like pulling out the album release from the listings and all. I can't say I'll ignore the album when it comes out, because God knows I love Mariah's work, but this is no way to treat fans. Lets not be blind, Mariah isn't as relevant today as she used to be, and if she starts enraging her remaining fans, it wouldn't be a good move. Album (42,800) by Mimi L. from Empower Your Highlighter I sure hope that all the silence and rumors about the album delay are just planned strategies that Mariah and her team cooked up, because I will be really disappointed if Mariah doesn't release the album on the announced date. And the excuses that she wants to focus on her family and is only doing the album to get out of the contract doesn't cut it. If that was the case she would have released whatever material she recorded in over four years and get it done with. Plus she is the one who said multiple times that she intends to tour to support this album. Blaming JD isn't enough, yes he is partially responsible but if M doesn't give the green light JD can't do much. We fans deserve to know what on earth is going on with the album because we have been waiting patiently for it. She has been hyping it up since summer 2012. It's getting annoying. I love MC but it'll be sad if she doesn't go ahead with the release date. I really wanted her to reclaim her throne this time like she did with TEOM.
