It actually went to number one in Norway, this year. If it can reach the top here, it can do it anywhere.

She should listen to White Christmas and Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas by Connie Francis and try to recreate that sound. To everyone on the board: have a listen. They are so good.

Didn't he say that he enjoyed the show? It's not necessary to criticise him every time he writes on this board.

It's like: would it be ok if a male singer or actor had made his female worker bring him his luggage while lying in bed, wearing nothing but underwear. I don't say that Mariah did do anything wrong, because I wasn't there, but it's the same rules for both genders. It's important for those who have jumped on the social media wagon of vigilant to rethink statements about other famous people who has been accused. There's too many posts about that here. It's not ok to say that he should know that she dresses like that and that she's flirty, when we would have said the opposite if it was a male celebrity.

And George. Maybe Mariah should get in touch with Madonna or the person she claim to not know. They seem to do ok with the game and fame.

Bobby Kristina Brown, Chet Hanks, Weston Cage, Indio Downey and so on. I don't think growing up as a kid of a famous person is easy, and it's not going to be easier if they are exposed for the media and life style. I remember when Bobby Kristina sang with her mother on stage as well. Didn't like it at all. I guess many thought it was cute, but kids are not supposed to make that experience. I'm not saying the twins will end up as her or the others above, but there's a really thin line between what's ok and not.

Christmas songs between songs in a best of album (that she has released before)? It would have been a lot better (in my opinion) if it was an album filled with rare versions instead of album versions. And now I see that the "The Album" was one song from each album. Sorry. Peace.

I thought 2001 was her low point. A really good album, but it didn't sell. I know that 9/11 was the release date, but I guess the movie destroyed her sales number. She's not an actress, or a dancer so I wish she try to reconnect with the music and fans. It's been off for almost 10 years. She needs to be innovative this time and not try to make another "We belong together" or slow RnB song. Some of you might think that her commercial brand isn't that important, but it is. What kind of record company like to keep a really expensive artist if the artist fails bringing the money.

Re: Journalists fat shaming Mariah (77,534) (77,550)

I didn't say that this fat shaming is ok (well, I didn't mean to do that), but because of how she act in the public eye, she will be a target. I love her music, her voice and ability to touch people through that, but I don't love, even don't like the way she portrait herself. She has spent too much time making a fool of herself with this "I don't know her", acting eternal 12, being a diva and so on. It might be her sense of humour, but non-fans don't get it. What goes around, comes around.

There's a reason Adele, Jennifer Aniston and so on doesn't get that treatment. I wish Mariah would find her humble side again. My neighbour met her many times through work in the beginning of her career and told me she was the most humble, a little bit shy, and the cutest person ever, but it all changed as her career took off. By the time Merry Christmas was released she was a different person and not in a good way. Fame isn't always as good as people think.

The press will love it if she does a bad job in the beginning. Stella thinks that a bad review is better than no review. Haha. And we never hear about her good performances. I guess the professional artist we used to know is gone. Sadly. More sadly is the fact that some fans think it's ok. In fear of confronting/fading the problem.

Agree. What's the reason people should go to her concert? Her voice or her body? I wish her confidence would get back so she could concentrate on her voice again. Do you guys think this is weight gain or has she done something else with her body? I don't think it's natural and her legs looks like they contain water.
