Re: Music now (98,584) (98,589) by MusicfanJ from Germany Yes, I feel the same way the last 4 or 5 years. That's no music, that's noise. There's no soul and no heart to it. Even a "bad" song from the 60ies, 70ies, 80ies, 90ies until 2003 is way better than what is popular today. The few "newer" singers I like, have all in common that they have retro vibes (real instruments, can actually sing lol) on their music. With the movies it's the same, the older ones are better, but here and there a new one is also enjoyable and pretty good. Something I just can't say about today's music. I'm going to watch the "Music Box concert" again. Time machine lol. Mariah at minute 54, so cool playing air drums. (Wednesday 8 September 2021; 19:47)

Then the powerful version of the Dreamlover remix and "Just be good to me". It gives so much joy to watch her. Mariah was rocking that night with all her heart. (Monday 6 September 2021; 22:55)

I just try to enjoy the summer outside, usually I love autumn, but I won't think about what will be in 2 months. I'm so tired of all of this. Article: Ryan Reynolds gushes over Mariah (98,501) by MusicfanJ from Germany That's so cool. I just saw the trailer on TV and to hear Mariah's "Fantasy" really makes me smile. The song still sounds fresh and fun with the one and only vocals by MC. So Fantasy was on "Rush Hour" now on the Ryan Reynolds movie. I think there was another one. Anyway I will never forget when Daydream came out, with Fantasy at number one and played every day on the radio and at MTV. What a wonderful time, carefree and happy just like "Fantasy". It was the song of the summer, with Mariah mania. (Saturday 7 August 2021; 21:54)

I believe because of severeal reasons, most have been discussed here. But you're right, maybe the hidden rock singing style was too much for her unique, soulful voice. (Saturday 17 July 2021; 12:59)

Even though he's younger he seems to have a good, true heart. The way he speaks even shows humbleness. I love his inspirational victory campaign. He's very sweet and pleasant, no clown. I couldn't agree more and it shows once again that you can't buy everything with money especially the important "things" in life. The beginning is wonderful dreamy with a retro feeling, the breaking my heart line is very cool and "adidctive", but at around 2.35 it's bit much going on.
