Charmbracelet era (97,353) by Jamie from UK I love Mariah's voice live during the Charmbraclet tour. It was so crisp and clear and fluid. Her voice had gone through trauma prior to this but I wonder how she managed to gain it back then. Even though I love her performances now her voice doesn't always have the fluidity and depth it once did. I just wonder what made the Charmbracelet era so different that she was able to gain back great live vocals after going through the trauma of 2001. She does a great job now I just sometimes feel she's lost the warm/soul in her voice that she had early on in her career. (Friday 12 February 2021; 20:32)

I still think [Everything fades away] is a melancholic masterpiece. I had high hopes that you can hear me on first few bars but it never really goes anywhere. Gonna listen to the rest in more depth tomorrow. Loverboy Firecracker I'm not sold on, vocals defo better but I can't see that it would have done any better at rescuing [Glitter] back in the day. Re: Allison (94,861) (94,867) by Jamie from UK I don't buy it for one bit. If any of that was true then there's no way Mariah would still have a close relationship with her mother. If any of it was true I'd maybe put it down to their father. But unfortunately he's not around anymore and the story wouldn't make as much money as it would if it was Patricia who has had a more direct contact with MC over the years. And don't forget Alison went to live with Alfred after they split so would make more sense. But let's not forget that Alison takes mind altering drugs that can cause psychosis, it could be that Alison has come up with all this while out of it. Satanic rituals etc are a little far fetched and only somebody having such issues with drugs would probably come up with such a story. There's no doubt Alison has her troubles but her early experiences contributing to this are most probably down to her own poor choices as a teen. We don't know the full story but I'd say she got into drugs at an early age due to her parents splitting up which then lead onto the rest of her life choices. And I'd say a lot of both Alison and Morgan's problems these days will ultimately be jealousy. It's happened with other stars, families can be solid but once money becomes involved it can cause huge rifts. Mariah will still be giving them money I'm sure of that, but people get greedy unfortunately. (Friday 7 August 2020; 15:02)
