So just for fun I'm putting together a lil list of all the things I wish are gonna be Mariah's big announcement for 2015 and or beyond. 1. A European residency in London to celebrate her 25th anniversary. 2. Carbonated Butterfly drink released internationally using Thirsty as promo. 3. An annual Christmas Broadway show written and produced by MC. 4. The Bond theme, performed, written and produced by MC and a cameo role on screen. I think Bianca needs to dust off her wig for this one. 5.The debut album re-released with the original demos, live performances and unleseased tracks or remixes. 6. An autobiography, maybe as a three-part book series? Childhood - The Sony years - Post Glitter. 7. A cable miniseries about her life using the books as a template. 8. Crave Records 2.0 and an HBO tv documentary chronicling the journey of MC mentoring new artists and maybe giving forgotten one's a new chance. 9. A Christmas movie produced and written by MC with old and new music where she plays at least one of the characters. 10. A DVD to commemorate her 18 US #1's with video commentary on every song and how it came to be from inception to charting. Also, funny anecdotes in the bonus features and guest appearances with her collaborators through the years. What do you guys wish Mariah's big 2015 announcement will be about?" I'm doing another wish list for 2016 so I went back to see what I posted last year. So far, I'm a pretty happy Lamb since several of the things on my wish list came true at least partially already. YAY!

Musical parallels of MC/MJ (47,771) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End Mariah Carey is to Walter Afanasieff what Michael Jackson was and still is to Quincy Jones. It doesn't mean that either producer isn't a valuable part of these legendary artist's life work. But, there is a limit to how much credit they can take for the musical and intellectual properties that are the basis of MC and MJ's successes. At a certain point it starts looking less like professional and artistic pride and more like resentment, rather unnecessarily too, since no one is or has disputed their contributions to the legacies of MC and MJ. Especially not the artists themselves. So the question is: Why do you want a big parade only where Mariah is concerned Walter? I don't even think he gets how annoying it must be for her that he continuously muddies the waters every time he does an interview and their writing partnership comes up. Imagine the conversations he's had in private, in the industry, at parties or wherever. Yet Mariah still has to make sure people know that she writes and produces all of her own songs, every chance she gets, 26 years in the game. Why do you think she does that, for her health? So even though Mariah is probably completely over whatever caused their falling out, she will never work with Walter again. Walter was the one who turned his back on their friendship and partnership. But, to be fair, it's not really my own original idea that our Mariah work with Walter and co. again. I just sampled the loop. Although, I do take credit for the writing I did on top of it and the adlibs I layered and weaved to make it, just so. For the Spanglish AYNAF Remix I nominate Brenda K Starr and Cory Rooney. Of course, Benny Medina will manage all the contractual negotiations so Mariah doesn't take advantage of their generosity and forgiving hearts, after all the undeserved attacks MC's made on their characters and reputations, thorough out the years. Anyone who buys into the ditzy jokesy-the-clown act MC likes to employ sometimes, for laughs and camouflage, and thinks she doesn't turn it off and on at will, is a vapid idiot. That's why I lol at all the artistic, professional and personal advise people can't wait to put out there on the off chance that they can take credit for any future (innevitable) successes. Never mind how well she has done consistently all her life, just by trusting her own gut and intellect. If you don't know Mariah by now, you probably never will. (Sunday 2 November 2014; 17:32)

These are a few of my favourite things, Trois (47,756) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End Mariah interviews the best out of anybody I have ever seen or heard. She's the most guileless artist, apart from MJ, at any given time and as far as I know doesn't ban any subject from being brought up or asked about. Yet she is always so poised under pressure, time after time, year after year. I am in awe of her ability to be so completely naked even as her heart is being broken while managing to actually keep her head and all of her humanity and refuse to become jaded by random critic's fangs trying to soil her integrity with their dissonant howls and rotten bites. Manny, thanks so much for posting that classic MTV, Tabitha Soren helmed, interview. It's so candid, well informed and simultaneously lighthearted even as Mariah was being the consummate diplomat about what all had been going on. It's why I believe Mariah meant it when she said it wouldn't have taken that much genuine effort from Tommy for her to go back, well, at least at the top and middle of their separation. It must have been a bitter pill to swallow how easy it was for Tommy to immediately concede to Thalia the simplest of things he wouldn't let Mariah have, even after 4 years of marriage. I think that's when she realised the true depths of his deception. I think it's a great and emotionally healthy choice and all that jazz, if Mariah has forgiven Tommy for what he did to her spirit. Kumbaya my board (47,736) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End Mariah always says the creativity of the lambs is unparalleled. I would have to agree 100%. The only ones who come even close to rivalling us lambs, as of late, are The Walter & Tommy Fangurls feat. The Nickelodeons. According to them, we should treat Tommy and Walter more fairly than they themselves have historically treated Mariah. Uhm. With that kind of reasoning Mariah should also reach out to Samantha Cole, Katy Perry, Sandra Bernhardt, Eminem, Kelly Price, Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Ariana Grande, Cameron Diaz, JLo, Ja Rule and Irv Gotti and announce on Wendy Williams, that she wants all of them to be in a remake of AYNAF. Walter will of course produce the song(without Mariah, like he deserves), Nick will direct the (straight to video) short film and Tommy will release the single under his new label: SingSing Records. It's bound to be this years Christmas Hot 100 Stone-Groove-Smash-Hit-Wonder. Oh Lord. (Saturday 1 November 2014; 16:54)

Why Mariah will never work with Walter again (47,710) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End He won't give Mariah her props (a.k.a. R.E.S.P.E.C.T.) for being the principle songwriter on their collaborations. Notice how he dodges even mentioning the melodies and lyrics Mariah wrote herself on songs like AIWFCIY in every interview he gives to this day. He makes it all about his own contributions and will even go as far as to belittle the greatness of the songs just so Mariah's talents can remain unheralded. Wally still makes it so obvious with his shadey comments that he was part of Tommy's clique that kept Mariah in a gilded cage for all those years. Anyone who thinks Walter winning his only 2 Grammys right after his and Mariah's professional and personal association ended, is a coincidence, is a fool. It's been established many times that Mariah is no one's fool twice. I'd much rather Mariah write with Ben Margulies again. In fact, that is officially my Christmas wish for Mariah this year. Just listen to him continue to evade giving Mariah any songwriting credit, like he's still getting payola from Tommy, in this video from last year. (Friday 31 October 2014; 15:59)

She's got a lot of help, she's doing fine and yes we are still friends. Everything is great and Nick's a great person too. I'm not gonna take nothing away from him because she's one of my best friends. They had their issues, just like every married couple does and they're moving forward, she is and so is he. Diplomacy prevails for now and I'm glad Brat is a lot more Zen in her aura these days. Nick Cannot "The Abandoner" is still dead to me though. (Tuesday 28 October 2014; 17:44)

Jono and the lurkers (47,552) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End The haters are still here. They are very "creative" in their endeavours. Instead of posting, they do thumbs up while they lurk in between finding new ways to criticise, put down and shade MC and Lambily. It's not that Mariah can't sing anymore now, that horsey refuses to stay beaten and on the ground, after we've all seen a full concert and individual performances where Mariah obviously took back the reins of her vocals and slayed her entire catalogue like it was nothing. Instead it's: the whistle registry is a gimmick, the rest of Mariah's voice is chopped liver apparently. And how hilarious is it that one would apologise for the use of something as innocuous as a but not acknowledge the toxicity of one's own hateful words directed at Mariah and those of us who love and support her. I'd tell them to have several seats in the nearest stadium but every chair seems to be occupied by a lamb these days. I guess it's hard out here for a hateher. (Wednesday 22 October 2014; 23:38)

The Elusive Chanteuse Show and the Mariah fandemonium (47,517) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End LC and Deedre, so glad you all enjoyed the concert, as did I. Imagine, it was filmed by a fan, how much better wouldn't Mariah sound if it was recorded professionally? But I love how candid it was and how the fangurling was so on point. Encore encore encore. Lambs at their best. It's obvious to me that MC is getting undeservedly bad press on account of a couple bad notes. I now even question the validity of those early 00:16 clips that starred the whole "Mariah can't sing anymore" meme that had the anti-lambs salivating at the possibility of Mariah losing her mojo. Does anyone else find it funny how Mariah is only accused of singing live when it's "bad" and never when it's good? I mean, some hobby-critics go as far as splicing one single performance into: live plus lipped and dubbed vocals to try and justify their often times logical conclusions. God forbid, once in a blue moon, Mariah Carey live would ever be capable of sounding like, oh I don't know, Mariah Carey on a record? (Monday 20 October 2014; 17:32)

Mariah was born in 1970 (47,457) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End Who knows why they added a year to her age in this article from November 1993 and made her 24 when her mother Patricia is quoted dating Mariah "not yet three" in 1972. The rest of the article has her graduating HS in 1987 and being signed by Tommy in 1988, ten months later. Also, why would her own classmates lie about her age? Being a year older in HS is a big deal, people remember that kind of thing. I personally think the whole Mariah birther movement is a remnant from Tommy Mottola's years long smear campaign of Mariah after their divorce. The whole debate reminds me of those Japanese WWII soldiers who kept fighting for the Emperor in the jungles of Asia, for decades after it ended, refusing to surrender. Please enlighten this board of any and all reasons why you are constantly being so personally offended that she is still singing and making music. You do not speak for the public anymore than I do so stop billing yourself as the spokesperson for the populus with your negativity. We all know Mariah isn't speaking of you and your ilk when she refers to her loyal lambs. That would be delusional right? You are the one who is an embarrassment with your passive aggressive jabs at Mariah on a message board dedicated entirely to her and those of us who appreciate her as an artist and human being. Did she legitemately forget about Pete Ham and Tom Evans? 00:09 "So, Harry Nilsson, he was the writer of this particular song." Did anyone else catch that? I tend to think Mariah said it on purpose to be funny, like how so many people think she remade AIWFCIY and didn't write the song herself. Lambily and shady pines (47,364) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End Why is staying positive and supportive of Mariah considered delusional on a freaking Mariah Carey messageboard? Please let me know where else a lamb can be an unapologetic fan and I'll go there instead. Detractors, perpetual critics, non fans have a million forums and avenues. They are everywhere. But I love how I'm supposed to sympathise with the plight of negative posters who will have us believe they are somehow the victims of deluded Mariah fans. Before you go around campaigning for Mariah's premature retirement maybe you should lead by example and retire as an MC "fan". Talk about a broken record. (Saturday 11 October 2014; 3:03)

The attack of Mariah game (47,325) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End Being a lamb is not for the faint of heart. You have to be constantly on your A game, there is no relax mode because somebody is always coming for her sideways. Even the ones who were the closest to her at some point literally turn on a dime. It's no wonder she and MJ bonded. Well, I'm not going to be made to fell like a villain for looking forward to seeing her in concert, something I have never had the opportunity to do before, when she comes to Europe. Concerts are also a chance for fans to show their appreciation and love for the performer. There is always gonna be someone who isn't happy in the audience for whatever reason. But I refuse to let them be the barometer for what I personally enjoy about Mariah's concerts. I like the unpredictable adlibs and impromptu anecdotes. Where are there are so many reasons why I love Mariah, her voice is really only one aspect of the equation, a very lovely and magnificent part. But I think she is hilariously funny too, and intelligent, kind, generous, loyal, inspirational and Mariah has so much integrity, a quality I am most in awe of whenever it presents itself because of the rarity. Mariah and the elusive surgery (47,324) by Baby from Dreamville...Where There's No Beginning & There is No End May, Julie Andrews settled with the hospital responsible for the surgery so I'm not surprised that she has been gagged from speaking in depth about what exactly happened to her. But before the settlement she did speak of having "one nodule". In the Oprah interview she sorta skirted the issue by saying she never had cancer, "nodules" or anything. Notice the use of plurals and the omission of qualifying what she did have. So technically Julie was telling the truth and honouring any nondisclosure clauses all at the same time. There are a lot of people who are salivating at the mere thought of Mariah not being able to sing that would rejoice in her misery if what happened to Julie happened to her too. My point is, Mariah doesn't need to be pressured into risking her "saving grace". Even if it comes from a good place, we as fans have to be careful what we put out there. Mariah is just as susceptible to manipulation as anyone of us. We should choose to support her when she's down and not jump down her throat at every missed note. (Friday 10 October 2014; 3:40)

The Internet's are full of faulty information, as Mariah fans I think we can appreciate all that. Julie Andrews did in fact have surgery in 1997 to remove vocal nodules and has since not sung a song. Not a note. If you don't want to take my word for it (you should always demand a credible source to people's claims) I suggest you take a look at this interview she did with Barbara Walters and hear her echo what I just wrote. You are entitled to your own opinions but not to your own facts. No hard feelings, I just needed to set the record straight. (Thursday 9 October 2014; 2:47)
