However, I don't think Mariah's going to retire anytime soon. I think she will continue write and record albums until she passes like Aretha did. Who knows maybe she'll do so in her memoirs. Mariah's single being a success on Adult Contemporary and R&B radio is impressive considering LA Reid said just getting her song played on the radio was an accomplishment in 2015. R&B music is no longer considered popular music. Mariah is an R&B artist not a pop artist. She's never been a pop artist, she happened to debut when R&B was considered pop music. Re: Missing Columbia cassettes (87,396) (87,403) by B from USA There were a lot of cassettes manufacturered for MTV Unplugged and Butterfly but by 1999 record labels basically ceased manafacturing cassettes so finding a copy of Rainbow on cassette is probably going to be extremely difficult but finding the other two shouldn't be. Personally, I consider The One, Yours, I Only Wanted, Clown, My Saving Grace, You Had Your Chance, Lullaby, Subtle Invitation, and Sunflowers for Alfred Roy to be some of Mariah's best songs lyrically and melodically.
