About Licia from USA: I think I'm Mariah's oldest fan lol.

Re: Mariah singing at Floyd Mayweather's birthday bash (81,218) (81,224) by Licia from USA
On the one hand I agree that she shouldn't be expected to sing everytime or at every event. It was a party and she's allowed to have fun. On the other hand I agree that she could shut a lot of people up if she just sang. Her refusal to sing at times is a little baffling and concerning. I see both sides of the argument. Both sides have valid points.

I agree it would be a great song for her to cover. I love the original. Would have been nice to hear her take on the song.

Re: Mariah singing at Floyd Mayweather's birthday bash (81,193) (81,202) by Licia from USA
Yeah that wasn't her singing. She barely sang the little of the song that they finally got her to do. I found it hilarious that she tried to play it off by saying "Run me my check motherf*cker", but then I got sad when she really didn't try. Drunk Mariah would have done it and not cared. That drunk video of her singing Heartbreaker is one of my all time favorite performances. Lol.

Re: Roc and Roe are really smart (81,189) (81,191) by Licia from USA
I'll have to look up that page too. Now you ought to know by now I don't give a crap about him or his people. Let them come. Lol I do find it strange that there were no Halloween pics of them. Wasn't it around Halloween when she got rid of Stella Whoseitwhatsit? Maybe that's why there were no pics. I hope they at least got to go trick or treating despite all that drama.

That's a nice little page. He or she has so many nice pics that I loved of Nick and Mariah. They are going to get cyber beat up for not liking Banaka Tanaka though. Those comments are hilarious. That picture of Golden as a oompa loompa is beyond adorable. Yes Roe likes being a big sister.

I never went to the other IG page. Let me go look.

It was an African themed party. I believe he and Golden are wearing dashikis.

Golden Cannon and Roc & Roe (81,179) by Licia from USA
The pics and little video of the kids at Golden's birthday party are the cutest. He's like a darker version of Roc. I'm so happy that Roc & Roe will have a relationship with their sibling. Nothing like finding out you have a sibling years later because your parents couldn't act right. I'll always respect them both when it comes the children. Anyway, here are the pics if anyone is interested.

Re: Butterfly vs. Ray of Light (81,145) (81,154) by Licia from USA
The Ray of Light album is when I took a step back from Madonna. ROL took Madonna in a direction musically that I didn't like. Bedtime Stories is a phenomenal album. Take A Bow was an unexpected and awesome surprise.

Re: Django Jane (81,152) (81,153) by Licia from USA
I've never been into Janelle's music, but from the few songs I have heard in the past I've always thought she was talented and absolutely gorgeous. I might need to check out these new songs. Great music is damn near extinct right now and I'm definitely itching for something new and great from Mariah and other artists. The acceptance of mediocrity in the music buisneds now and days is sickening.

It's still on Nick's IG story. That's where I saw it.

Re: Roc and Roe are really smart (81,128) (81,129) by Licia from USA
Roc kept looking at Nick like he wanted to tell him "It doesn't matter how much money I got left because if it goes over you're buying." Lol. They are too adorable. I so wanted her to put that hundred in her pocket so she wouldn't lose it.

Re: Mariah Carey: Just Be Good To Me (from Japan) (81,080) (81,101) by Licia from USA
Thank you for the simple "dummy's guide to dubbing" explanation. I actually got it. Lol. I think you're the first person to explain it without going into a full Mariah rambling paragraph.

Bill can you explain what dubbing is? I had never heard about dubbing until I started hanging out around this dysfunctional fanbase (lol). I believe someone tried to explain it before, but I didn't get it.

She was getting it and she was doing it better than I ever could. Jesus shaded me when it came to giving me rhythm. I think he gave the little bit I was supposed to have to Mariah. Lol.

Mariah Carey: Just Be Good To Me (from Japan) (81,026) by Licia from USA
I was watching this performance and I was so taken aback at how wonderful it is. I've seen her perform this song before on another one of her tours (not sure which one, it could possibly be from the same tour, but a different location), but I wasn't as impressed with the other performance as I am with this one. Everything I need in a performance was there. I already love this song, but this performance really brought the song and Mariah to life in my eyes. I was doing the little "I can't really dance, but I'm going to try anyway" two step with Mariah.

Re: Stripped versions of Mariah's gems (81,002) (81,005) by Licia from USA
Those stripped versions and acapella mixes are giving me like. I've never been a big fan of Outside or Looking In, but the stripped versions made me start enjoying them. They are also making me play songs that I haven't really listened to in a while like UTS. If I had to pick a favorite, ABMB (the stalker love song lol) is it.

Re: Toni Braxton - Long As I Live (80,959) (80,963) by Licia from USA
I'm still not completely sold on Deadwood, but I bought it to support Toni. I adore Long As I Live. We don't talk about the song with Birdman. That was garbage and I can't believe they let the world hear that mess. I'm still excited about the new album though. Her and Babyface killed on that Love and Divorce album. I hope her album is kind of in that same vein.

Re: Article: Michelle Obama's Valentine's Day playlist (80,960) (80,962) by Licia from USA
ABMB is a stalker love song. Lol. Lead The Way to answer your question. That's the ultimate love/wedding song for me. Also So Blessed. This song turns me to mush. The messages in each song is just beautiful. I would definitely sing either one of them off key and drunk to my future husband.

If he doesn't know the answer to number two he's automatically banned from the MCA kingdom. People who absolutely hate me know the answer to that question.

When I watched I found this to be hilarious. Of all the jokes and disrespectful things others have said, this was tame and light-hearted. *shrugs*

Re: Article: Mariah Carey stops traffic with brazen braless display (80,902) (80,904) by Licia from USA
That's not true. The general public called Whitney a crackhead who lost her voice up until she died. It wasn't until she died that they started back respecting and loving her.Whitney had many love/hate moments from the general public.
