About RibbonB from USA: I love Mariah's Music.

Re: Mariah Carey dragged into Da Brat's bankruptcy case (85,245) (85,251) by RibbonB from USA
This Rosie interview is classic and entertaining. In it at the 2:50 Mark she jokingly but seriously notes that she always feels financially insecure and with recessions nobody is safe, so can people not call every time they need five dollars. 8 million is a whole other level of bumbing. I love that interview, when Mimi was still open, fun, she certainly seemed happy then.

Re: The Voice (85,233) (85,240) by RibbonB from USA
I think She did do that. I'm just glad she's not involved with The Four. That show is such a dud. Is it cancelled yet? Or is I on hiatus like Cassie?

Re: Mariah Carey dragged into Da Brat's bankruptcy case (85,234) (85,239) by RibbonB from USA
I don't, as that would be a colossal mistake. Mimi seems to be having her own financial woes, with constant touring, salaries to pay, etc. Brat should never have bragged on other's bag, as in saying publicly that she could get either Mimi or JD to pay her debt. JD has had his own tax problems. Brat should do the right thing and create a payment plan to support her victim for the rest of her life. Or maybe they should do a reality show together to generate funds.

Brat bankruptcy (85,232) by RibbonB from USA
Now dragging Mimi and JD in is a stretch and I hope is not allowed. Brat is the only one responsible for that debt. Yikes.

Re: The Voice (85,222) (85,227) by RibbonB from USA
You only see the vocal mentors briefly, it's not a major appearance. But it can be memorable if done right. Too bad Idol went left for her, but this will make be her ten or twenty minutes on air, in a prominent show.

Re: The Voice (85,219) (85,220) by RibbonB from USA
That's great. I think they only appear briefly, but still cool. I hope she gives good input to the vocalists. I like Kelley Clarkson's team better, but it will be interesting to see her interact with JHud's group too.

Memoirs announcement (85,184) by RibbonB from USA
She's been threatening to do one. Maybe dueling biographies? I wouldn't buy either, but I'm sure the excerpts would be titillating.

Re: The "wedding" (85,179) (85,183) by RibbonB from USA
The whole thing seemed like a shakedown of a mentally ill billionaire gone wrong. But Mimi rewrites the narrative, writes a few "bops" and people fall for the new narrative. Packers authorized biography looks to be a juicy one.

The Distance (85,017) by RibbonB from USA
Interesting, but it sounds like a rehash of My Love, which is a better song to me at least. I wish her well, but still singing about showing the haters is so dated IMO. The cheer on the intro and outro is cute, should have been explored more throughout the song.

Caution cover (84,975) by RibbonB from USA
I like it although I liked it with the eye peeking out both would've been better, in stark black and white. But I do like it, something different from Mimi.

Missy Elliott (84,961) by RibbonB from USA
Wow, Missy is dropping her first LP in fourteen years next year. She promises all hot dance music again. I can't wait for that. Mariah needs a hot With You remix stat.

She can have this beautiful, colorful picture of the deadliest butterfly in the world. Actually, the monarch butterfly is rather deadly or distasteful to birds, etc.

Caution (84,896) by RibbonB from USA
This is a good title. So far she has used a theme of signs in shop windows, subdued vocals, sparse lyrics and sexy poses. I suppose there may be songs of build up which lead to explosive songs ending in dramatic climax? Or it could be one simmering, ticking time bomb.

Re: Ella Mai (84,885) (84,894) by RibbonB from USA
I don't know how that name got through though. Is her last name Clampett? I do like what I've heard though.

Shady boots. Leave her lipping moments alone.

Lol, hairbrush singing is funny. Or a reinterpretation of the AMA performance.

Re: New Mariah Carey song co-written by Fresco Kane (84,856) (84,857) by RibbonB from USA
Lol yeah, to hear some people tell it, you are right. Insert eyeroll and chuckle here. Mariah is trolling in the drinking era, I do believe.

The Caymus and what not. I wonder if old Wally indulged? The drinking mentions are old, but she's been consistent with that. Her career and creative process is nothing like our nine to fives. She definitely could write great songs without name checking liquor or anything for that matter. That seems to be where she is at though.

With You challenge (84,846) by RibbonB from USA
Mimi needs a good, fun, viral moment. It can definitely help streaming and With You needs it based on the Vevo numbers. Monica saw a big bump off her old hit So Gon. Drake had the KiKi challenge not that he needed it. But those challenges can be funny, creative and cute. One idea could be put yourself in the vintage car with Mimi driving. The possibilities are endless.

That was Remy not "Henny" though. Not so cute when the songwriting veil is lifted? Although I'm sure the songwriters' bodies weren't blending.

Emmy winner, Tessandra Chavez did the choreography along with Dom and their assistant.
