About Bobby A from United States: I have been a Lamb since 1990. I know Mariah. I love her music. I breathe her music.

Happy New Year (104,732) by Bobby A from United States
Cheers to 2024 Lambs. Have a blessed and prosperous new year. 2023 is dead and gone, but 2024 is forever yours. I combined some JT and MC lyrics for fun.

Studio pics (104,725) by Bobby A from United States
True. She didn't tell us who her writing partner is that she has done the 10 songs with. I assumed that she wrote the 10 songs with Daniel Moore, but now I am thinking that she could be talking about multiple writing partners to keep us wondering. She is being very secretive with this new album just like Caution by posting no studio pics. I mentioned Poo Bear today because I saw a That Grape Juice interview on YouTube and it was all about his songs written for 112, Usher, Chris Brown, Jill Scott, and Justin Beiber. There was no mention of his studio time with MC, which I thought was odd considering the 7 songs (actually he said 7 songs in 2018 not 10 songs) they wrote together. Only 3 of those songs made the cut for Caution. Anyway, the waiting game is the hardest part for me anticipating new music.

Studio pics (104,723) by Bobby A from United States
I wonder why MC has stopped posting pics of who she is working with in the studio. I wonder if Poo Bear posting that he and MC were 10 songs in rubbed her the wrong way. She never said publicly prior Caution being released who she had been in the studio with.

More records fall (104,718) by Bobby A from United States
Lol. I didn't catch that she replied to herself. It has been one exhausting week for some of us. The Hot 100 chart news was devastating today. Somebody unearthed Crustella after Tanaka's and MC's breakup announcement to the media. Even I messed up bad this week and had to post my sincere apology. No more relationship analysis from me again. I will never be Dr. Phil. Cheers to the new year. I am ready for 2024.

Stella (104,712) by Bobby A from United States
Do you really think that was the case? I think MC was not making sound business decisions from 2014-2018. She let Stella be too much in her personal life. Those years were very turbulent for MC. The whole James Packer engagement and break-up was a disaster. Crustella was too controlling of a manager for someone as legendary as MC. Whitney would not have given someone like Stella the time of day.

Tanaka (104,710) by Bobby A from United States
The Stella/Mishka storyline during MC's life story would be a screenwriter's goldmine. Meryl Streep and Mayim Bialik could play the dynamic duo. Let's throw in Zac Efron to play Tanaka.

Tanaka (104,706) by Bobby A from United States
Right. She doesn't need Stella back. What MC needs is a songwriter/producer partner like Jack Antonoff or Ilya. Both of them have done wonders for Taylor's and Ariana's careers. He or she has to understand MC as the legendary artist that she is today. I would love to see Robert Glasper or James Poyser become her songwriting partners. If she wants any Grammy nominations or awards in 2024, she is going to have to step out of her comfort zone. A duet with Howard Hewett or Peabo Bryson would set the R&B world on fire and garner her the recognition from the Grammy committee that she has never received.

We need an uptempo song (104,700) by Bobby A from United States
Sitting here thinking that music this year was really boring. No one released anything exciting. For the first time in years, there was not a song of summer. I am hoping MC and Ariana Grande give us great uptempo jams for this summer.

I hope MC makes it to number #1 for another week and beats RATCT. It has been an interesting holiday season.

Tanaka (104,679) by Bobby A from United States
To everyone on the board and Eric, I apologize for my ignorant comments. I was out of line. Sometimes I am too analytical and I forget about the broader audience on the board. Please forgive me and don't hold it against me going into 2024.

Tanaka (104,674) by Bobby A from United States
I heard last week on a Top 40 radio morning talk show that they split because he wanted kids and MC didn't. I guess he told someone and it was leaked to the media. We got the statement today after the concerts ended probably at MC's request. I said years ago that there was going to be pressure on Tanaka to give his mother some grandchildren. No straight man is going to stay with a woman who has no desire to give him any children. That is the reason Sofia Vargara and Joe Manganiello divorced.

Happy Christmas (104,654) by Bobby A from United States
Merry Christmas Lambs. MC's voice sounds amazing. She is going to surprise us with a new album that is going to make the Lambs proud. Something inside tells me that she has signed with UMG. Plus, Britton Nelson (UMG) was the AR Manager for the It's A Wrap vinyl release. It would make perfect sense for MC to return back to Def Jam for MC16. By the way, our Music Box Anniversary merchandise will be arriving in 5 weeks.

New albums (104,635) by Bobby A from United States
I didn't say I liked JLo. Lol. I was just simply posting that she has a new album coming out next year like other artists. You may get a chance to use her new album booklet. It is going to be released February 16th in physical CD format in the UK. Honest Jon's Records or Sounds of the Universe will probably have plenty of copies.

She wrote this little Christmas jam with my favorite R&B slow jam producer, Harvey Mason Jr. I wish MC would cover his most famous R&B slow Jam How You Gonna Act Like That by Tyrese.

Obsessed in the UK (104,590) by Bobby A from United States
Stacey, just ask yourself if Say Somethin' could have paved the way for WBT in the same way? ILT was the party record that TEOM needed as the lead single. It said that Mariah Carey was back. A January release date and a delayed video caused it to stall at number 16.

Article: Mariah Carey stops by Library of Congress (104,568) by Bobby A from United States
MC was emulating what a teacher would wear. The two piece dress suit was a popular ensemble for teachers back in the late 80s and early 90s.

Andrew, you should be a staff writer for Rolling Stone magazine. This week your editorials have been fascinating coffee table reading before work in the morning. I can't wait to read what you will say in 2024.
