I still can't believe I was there the night Ratner filmed the performances scenes for the video. He was filming the entire night and only focused on the crowd during the performance of Infinity and during the three takes after the show. Caution (85,640) by B from USA Caution will debut in the Top 3. I don't think Mariah and her team are aiming for a big first week though. I think her new team is aiming to keep this album on the charts for longer than the two months MIAM spent on the charts before disappearing. With You is climbing the R&B charts and Adult Contemporary charts. It's at #17 on the Adult Contemporary chart, #16 on the Adult R&B Songs chart, and #16 on the Hot R&B Songs chart. Each release has been strategic and has served a specific purpose. GTFO was released to generate buzz, With You was released to engage Mariah's adult contemporary fans, The Distance to engage her pop fans, and A No No engage her hip-pop fans. Her new songs are being well received, the problem is her audience is limited by ageism. If The Distance or A No No were pushed by Epic with a Clear Channel deal like With You either song would catch on. I understand why they chose With You as the first single though.
