About Malcolm from Asia:

Re: Crying on stage (77,378) (77,382) by Malcolm from Asia
Or maybe she's aware of what people are saying about her and to hear that energy from an audience who's not entirely her fans, she probably felt the love. I also saw tweets that praising Mariah's performance like they didn't expect Mariah to sound like that. You know I really think this tour will help her image as long as she'll deliver a good performance all throughout. Not to mention that the bodysuits are finally missing.

That's the thing Stacey. I agree.

Re: Despacito (77,252) (77,262) by Malcolm from Asia
Given that Wild Thoughts is #2 and Despacito is #1 for 10th week, what would you choose? The chance of Despacito breaking Mariah's and Boyz II Men's record or adding another #1 for Rihanna? Lol. It's amazing that Mariah's name frequently mentioned in Billboard whenever these artists break a record or something. Rihanna can have more #1s, but the pride of having 18 #1s as the lead artist, 17 #1 self-written songs, and 14 #1 self-produced songs in Mariah's name will forever be there. I can imagine if Rihanna will surpass Mariah, her intro in every show will be like "most #1 singles as a female lead artist". Lol. If this will really happen, if I were Mariah I will just settle with "female songwriter with the most #1 singles" introduction because it seems like it's more respectable and besides that's what she always complain in the media so might as well do that.

Re: Biggest concern (77,059) (77,062) by Malcolm from Asia
It's just purely unfair for those who attended the first show. That's why there's a thing called rehearsal and warm up. She's a singer so she's expected to deliver.

Artist Stand Up to Cancer 2008 live (77,060) by Malcolm from Asia
I know I'm late but does anyone know why Mariah seemed lost in this performance? Did she have personal problem that time or what? Because she seemed the only who was not enjoying it lol.

Re: Weight gain (77,051) (77,056) by Malcolm from Asia
Honestly, it's fine if she's fat or whatever because who am I to judge her, that's her body so she can be whatever she wants to be. But like what I said before, seeing her gain weight through the years, you can't help but think that maybe there's something wrong behind the camera. The problem with this is really her fashion choices and the acceptance, because admit it, Mariah seems in denial when it comes to this. If she can approach it like Adele or Kelly Clarkson by saying "[censored] it I'm fat, so what?" then I think there will be no problem at all. Just own it and wear clothes that fits with her current weight and not these leotards and shit because it's almost awkward to see what she wears and do in the stage like what is the sense of lifting her up in the middle of her performances? I really don't get it. She's not a dancer to do this stuff, she's a singer so just have a fabulous hair, wear great outfits and sing, that's all she needs to do, fat or not.

Ensembles (77,012) by Malcolm from Asia
I don't really understand why she can't get great outfits with all that money she has. Her thighs looked like it was going to pop out with that bodysuit.

Re: "I Don't" reached 19 million views, what do you think? (76,912) (76,916) by Malcolm from Asia
Do you think she will reach this huge amount of views and following without the latino market? Because for me it is a big part for her so called comeback in 2011. What I'm trying to say is it's quite unfair to compare the views of JLo to Mariah because JLo has this another market that caters with that. I admire JLo's hard work and professionalism though.

Re: "I Don't" reached 19 million views, what do you think? (76,890) (76,895) by Malcolm from Asia
I think the reason why JLo reaches that amount of views is because of how big latino market is and not really because of how great it is. She's a latin artist so reaching that huge amount of views is not that big of a deal because it's quite common among them.

Next album (76,846) by Malcolm from Asia
I think Mariah will earn her 7th #1 album with this one, as long as she will not release it in the same period with Taylor Swift or with other current huge pop stars. DJ Khaled's new album went #1 just because of streaming, his traditional sales is only 50,000, lower than MIAMTEC.

Re: She is not flat but her Baku show was (76,697) (76,705) by Malcolm from Asia
It seems like she always need to have a tour for her voice to warm up because if not, the case will always be like that Baku show.

Re: Article: Will Ferrell hints at Mariah's diva antics on set (76,514) (76,519) by Malcolm from Asia
Having said that and if that's the case, why does until now Mariah doesn't fire Stella? The last word is on her, it's her choice.

Re: Article: Will Ferrell hints at Mariah's diva antics on set (76,511) (76,512) by Malcolm from Asia
It seems like she thinks she can do whatever she wants, why? Because she's a self proclaimed best selling female artist of all time? Sigh, she's a turn off nowadays and probably in the industry as well. I hope she seeks help whatever she's dealing with that causes this behaviors. Like you're a mother now, what will you tell your kids if they browse these news on the net?

Article: Will Ferrell hints at Mariah's diva antics on set (76,509) by Malcolm from Asia
And now Will Ferrell too? Who actually attended her Vegas show. Stella might or might not involved how things went in there but everything will always comes down to Mariah. Mariah really keeps pushing the limits.

Re: Glitter era vs now (76,437) (76,445) by Malcolm from Asia
I don't really know how big mess Glitter era was but I can say that the two is too different to be compared. When Glitter happened, Mariah was at the height of her career so she had more chance to redeem herself after that (TEOM), but this time, it's like she's already at the 4th quarter of her career to experience this and to label it as an "messy era" because there's no way she'll be on top again. The expectation from her is not to be #1 anymore but a stable career and life and putting out great pieces of work especially with her talent. She must mastered by now the how to be a legend 101 but she flips in the other direction so yeah good luck to that.

Thoughts (76,388) by Malcolm from Asia
Celine Dion is doing okay, still have the love from the public, respected as a legend and truly a class act especially with her successful Vegas show. Jennifer Lopez is doing great with her business ventures, doing tasteful gigs that suits her and looking damn fine at her age. Jay Z is an entertainment mogul, he really took care of his career and uses it for investing what he has now. P. Diddy is the highest-paid celebrity in the world and like Jay Z, he take his career on another level. Even she receives backlash here and there, Madonna still pretty much holds that "Queen of Pop" title and still treated highly by the media and the people inside and outside the music industry, not to mention her efforts for the society. Knowing this and knowing what Mariah is doing right now saddens me. Her peers are doing well and already stable and she's here accepting cheap gigs, managed by a person who doesn't have experience and the skill, epic fail performances and seems lonely. And now she's gaining weight again, not that it's bad thing but it's a different story if she aknowledges and embraces it, but no, it seems like she don't know it by wearing these tight clothes that is unflattering to her. Seeing her weight goes up and down through the years, you know there's something wrong and that this is not just a healthy weight gain. Honestly it's almost hurtful to my eyes seeing her not doing well in life especially at her age where she should just enjoy by now. If she wants again to join these people up there in the A-list department, she should start thinking what's best for her career and take care of herself, or if she can't, it's better to just retire and not damage her already damaged career and image. I'm still hoping that this is just a phase and that she can still make a comeback not in the charts but in a stable, normal and happy life.

Re: The changing of expectations (76,293) (76,299) by Malcolm from Asia
Agree. I really do hope that this is just a mid life crisis because I can't imagine her telling everyone at the age of 60 that she's still young because she discounts number and she's eternally 12, like that will be ew and so innapropriate anymore.

Re: Extra interview (76,280) (76,284) by Malcolm from Asia
She looked tired and babbles in the whole interview. I hope she's just tired with the rehearsal or other things related to the tour or the album and not about alcohol.

Re: Mariah - gay icon (76,205) (76,208) by Malcolm from Asia
Her efforts are not really that conscious enough to say that she's a gay icon. She's not like "Oh I will do this for the gay community", I think she's more like "Oh they love it? They can relate to it? Sure." She just embraces it because people said so but I don't see her joining a movement or creating something solely for the LGBTQ community. For sure she'll agree on this because she's to apolitical to categorize herself, "we love everybody" as she always says. But if being a gay icon can mean that we just love the people who loves us back even if they don't have an advocacy for the community, then she is.

Clean Bandit's Symphony MV (76,129) by Malcolm from Asia
I wish Mariah will do this kind of visual. It would be nice if she's just standing with her mic plus cinematography like that and give to good actors the narration of the story, just like she did in Through The Rain but a level up and up to date in the technical part. It will be refreshing if she do this rather than touching herself. Stella, please invest on this kind of stuff, this is the thing now don't mess it up.

Re: Mariah Bulochnikov (76,118) (76,127) by Malcolm from Asia
We need moments without Stella, it's just too much. We don't have a choice but accept that she's here to stay (unless there's some lambs in California that can spy on her and do something to push Mariah to fire her, what? I'm crazy lmao) especially with this lifestyle that her family is experiencing plus the business ventures? There's no way she will bail on this. The only thing that I can hope for is for her to seek help in learning more about managing an artist like Mariah and invest about it and to convince me or all of us that she's not here to rob Mariah's hard-earned fortune and that she really cares about her.

Re: Article: Mariah Carey on a shopping spree in Beverly Hills (76,119) (76,126) by Malcolm from Asia
This is probably the effect of that 2013 incident. Gotta admit after that, something has changed on Mariah. It's like she's always afraid to walk on her own or she's always on look out, even the way she walk is different now. That accident might forever haunts her.

Re: Beyonce, Jay-Z and Mariah? (76,107) (76,117) by Malcolm from Asia
If 4:44 means Beyonce gives birth at June 4th, 4:44, that's beyond extra lol, there's no way it's a coincidence. The butterfly in the promo is the same breed of butterfly Mariah uses.
