To be so callus about a life threatning condition with no cure that triggers when she is doing something that brings her joy, is honesty horrible. I would hope that is there is nobody in the world who, after watching her actually have a seizure and what it looks like, would ever have the momentary flash of genuine thought that she would be "laughing all the way to the bank". New Mariah x Ariana rumor (106,485) by Malcolm from Asia I don't know if this excites me. I believe the hype and clamor are not there anymore since they released Oh Santa and Yes, And? remixes. I'm sure they are both aware of the buzz for a Mariah x Ariana song much more like in Madonna x Lady Gaga but they didn't craft/plan it well. It's a bit sad that they don't capitalize on that, it should have been a huge promo and build-up for their (finally) collaboration. (Thursday 23 May 2024; 01:11)

Mariah's voice (106,414) by Malcolm from Asia Remember way back 2016/2017 when we used to criticize every performance? I don't know but as I rewatched her performances, it sounds good to me compared to now. I know that she's not getting any younger anymore but whenever I see her Vegas clips, it's a bit sad to see her lipped almost 90% of the show and remember that she used to showcase her belts once in there few years ago but we didn't appreciate it as much that time. I think now is truly the end of an era where we will not be getting any "great belts" anymore, at least concert/performance-wise. I think she now accepts that her voice is fragile than ever that's why she's doing her best on the lipping with the rerecording of her vocals and better transition which I think is finally doing her good since the general public seems to buying it. If she'll send this to Radio (I don't know how complicated it would be now), revamped it as a 2022 single with a new cover art and make a music video for it, she can score at least another top 40 hit ala Lady Gaga's Bloody Mary. New picture (102,168) by Edward from USA I have heard from some older people that when you get to be a certain age you just stop caring much about certain things. Mariah is not the only woman over 50 who's weight fluctuates, but I don't think it has to do with anything in particular. I know many people in their 60's who are in very good shape and who are dealing with a lot of ailments, but they're disciplined and serious about their health. Mariah, unlike most people, has an arsenal of resources at her disposal to offset any side effects from medications, she probably has a personal chef who can cook anything healthy for her, and also has access to workout privately with a personal trainer too. I think Mariah gets in shape when she wants to get in shape, period. I don't think she's a damsel in distress waiting for the next treadmill to be available so that she can get on ultrasonic high heels with a splash in hand just in case she needs hydration. Oh Santa 2020 reaction (96,796) by Malcolm from Asia It's good. I can't say that it tops the original version but it's fine it's a decent one considering the different tones of them. What I observed is that Mariah lets Ariana do the whistle together with her like we all know it's unusual for Mariah to do that. Because of this I got thinking if she really is in complete good place right now because if we will notice her recent projects (the memoir, The Rarities and this big budgeted Christmas special), it's like she already acknowledges that she is not getting any younger so she's been releasing all of this all together and now this Mariah and Ariana moment where it can interpreted as her recognizing that there's this already a whole other generation of "female" singers that are reigning today and is not her anymore. Also if you caught what she said on her interview with Misty Copeland for Amazon, she said something "I want my story to be here when I'm not here anymore" is more proof that she is now acknowledging that her time is over and she's just here being legendary and living the life. We don't know maybe she gave herself an ultimatum that when she reaches 50 years old she'll start retiring and just do the things she loves. All in all I'm happy with the Christmas special (besides her failing to lip her own songs right as always ), Merry Christmas everyone. (Friday 4 December 2020; 07:53)

I'm still not in that chapter but I heard some of it on social media and made me confused why she had to brought it back again and now with more like bitterness in it. Putting some context on how huge she was making it to be, maybe we don't know something about it that has more meaning other than what we have seen on the performance? (Friday 9 October 2020; 16:41)

Especially her not mentioning James Packer when it would have been a pivotal moment in her life since they were engaged. It's just a testament that all of it was just a play and a result of her involvement with the wicked witch. It was really the darkest and cheapest moment in her career that deserves to be forgotten. It sucks that even until now you can see that she's fragile because of it. I just hope Mariah will reach a place where she can be at peace with her children and be secured for what she is. The behaviors from the past and even her personality as a whole really stems from the insecurity and struggles from her early life. Watching it really made me sad for her because it's really evident in her actions and the way she speaks to Oprah that her story is beyond from what we all know or making it to be. It made me relate to her even more so that when will come a time that she'll act a certain way again that we will not really in favor of, I'll get it, not that I'll tolerate it but surely will see it with more compassion. Save The Day music video (95,540) by Malcolm from Asia In all honesty, I don't hate the video because I didn't expect that we will get it nor expect that it'll be a big budget one since it's a partnership with US Open Tennis Championships, kind of similar for what she did with 100%. I just like it for what it is especially I think this is the first for a long time that she perfected the lip syncing for a music video lol, it's seamless I love it and hey this is more well directed and edited compared to I Don't, that's absurd. But I hope on the next songs she'll release with big name producers she'll decline putting the producer tag and just make some arrangements. Beyonce can do that so I hope Mariah too. Mariah was all over the news at that time but in all the wrong reasons and it reflected on the dislikes in that MV if you will observe it. That era was hell.
