About MusicfanJ from Germany: I'm a fan of Mariah since Daydream came out.

Re: Me and Mariah (77,985) (77,987) by MusicfanJ from Germany
CMC thank you for sharing. How cool that you showed Mariah your tatoo. Lucky one. One of my biggest dreams is to visit New York. I'm a fan of MC and NY.

Re: Stella has lamb kicked out of concert? (77,979) (77,981) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Why was the person kicked out? I can't believe it. Is it really true? Imagine this would have happened during a Daydream concert or during Butterfly tour. No way.

Re: Is she okay? (77,963) (77,969) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I hope she's ok. But I doubt it. If I look at all the latest pics, I see a superstar (the best-selling female artist of all time) who's not happy at all. I don't know if it's because of private things or health issues. It's not my business, but I would love to see her happy again. I have a feeling that she's heartbroken plus other things. Money can't buy you happiness. I fear that she feels like Marilyn Monroe her idol. Most beautiful and talented woman who only wanted love in life and couldn't get it. I hope I'm wrong.

Re: On Butterfly's 20th (77,938) (77,941) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Randy what a great post. I enjoyed reading every word of it. You're right, that's one reason I can't leave Mariah alone too. There will never be another Butterfly. What she did in 97 was pure genius and it still sounds like a record that could easily be released today. I love her combination of "classic" Mariah with rnb. I even love the hip-hop collaborations. I only started to listen to hip-hop because of Mariah. She really created a masterpiece and with every song she shared a bit of her soul with us. Thanks for reminding me of the greatness of this album. I'll play tonight and just enjoy the one and only Mariah. Lambily forever.

Re: Help is close by (77,937) (77,939) by MusicfanJ from Germany
That's true, help can be often near if you're open to it. I had to laugh so hard because of the minions. Now I have this picture on my mind. Mariah and the minions. Haha.

Re: Jessie Ware - Midnight (77,929) (77,932) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I like Jessie Ware. She's special, a true musician, not like the famous wannabes. When I saw a concert of her on TV, I had to buy "Devotion". Such a great album. I'm sure the other ones are good as well. And I do need new MC music (not only a Christmas song) too.

Re: New dress (77,913) (77,918) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Now this is a dress that belongs to a lady like Mariah. She looks beautiful in it. I hope she had a good time with Da Brat. Finally someone to spend time with who knows Mariah longer than the clan.

There's got to be a way (77,891) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I'm still listening and enjoying her debut. Imagine Mariah would write a song with lyrics like "There's got to be a way" again. At a time where most of the so-called singers just shout out how sexy they are, party non-stop and don't give a f. about anything. The music world would be shocked to hear it from "the diva". Lol I mean the charts are so boring. I need some new music from the one and only Miss Mariah Carey.

Re: Article: Why Mariah Carey fans are so worried about her (77,888) (77,889) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I hate to say it, but I'm sill worried too. I miss the Mariah who had fun while doing a show. Mariah should try to forget the circus for a while. Just relax, have a good time, money and fame means nothing if you're broken inside or burned out. Why not going to NY to meet real friends, or Italy or just any place where she can refill her "batteries"? I miss her inner "sparkle". I mean even if you're not famous and touring it's so easy to get or feel "lost" sometimes. It's ok, but if you surround yourself with the "wrong" people it will only make everything worse. They won't help you at all. Everytime she's with her kids, she looks like herself again. The Mariah I love. I think someone on this board noticed it too.

Re: "Pisces" - Trey Lorenz feat. Mariah (77,829) (77,834) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I love "Pisces" too. Yes, Mariah is phenomenal even as a back-up. By the way, Billy I love the word Mariah-esque. On "Everytime" with Babyface it's the same. Mariah takes the song to another level only with her back-up vocals. I remember when I bought "How come how long" and discovered MC's voice on "Everytime". It was the best.

Great songs, all of them. But they forget Mariah's "Honey".

Re: Article: Mariah Carey is performing with "no f---s given" (77,812) (77,819) by MusicfanJ from Germany
It's frustrating again to read such an article. In other news the press is saying that Mariah is an emotional wreck because of the Packer split and because of the divorce from Nick. That she didn't get over him. I know it's all private and only the three know what was really going on, but it hurts that most of the news is only about her diva behavior or private things. I miss the time where the press was talking about the musician and singer. Times are changing but I agree with most of you on this board, that Mariah needs a new team and some free time without the press. Please no burnout.

Re: Despacito | Most-viewed YouTube video of all time (77,754) (77,756) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I can't understand the fascination of Despacito too. It's nothing more than a summer song to dance to or chill outside. It's not my taste and I'm tired of it when it's playing on the radio. Well YouTube is one thing, to stay 16 weeks on number one another. I think Mariah's record will still last a while.

Yes, I love the counrty Mariah. A lot of people wrote they had TGIFY remix vibes. Another thing is I want to wish all the lambs and fans here on this messageboard a nice weekend. I really appreciate to read all your opinions and thanks to Eric the webmaster for the daily news and for all the work with this messageboard. So as you can see I need some positive moments today.

Re: Cougar cadre (77,707) (77,716) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Oh Celine. I just saw the "sexy" pics and I really had to laugh. But hey, I think she needs to experience a bit. With the dancer, I wish her a good time. The lost of her old husband must have been very painful. So I hope she's enjoying the time now. But please no more half naked pics of Celine.

Re: Mimi's hair (77,712) (77,715) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I miss her more natural hair too. Her hair during "Daydream", "Butterfly", "Rainbow" and "EMC2" [was] always so beautiful. And I love her curls [in] the early nineties. Now it's too long, too blond and unnatural. But Mariah's natural hair is so beautiful, I hope she leaves the trend of extensions and co. more often in the future.

Mariah "idol of the 90ies" (77,692) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I was watching a tv-show "Big Countdown" 50 idols of the nineties. Mariah was mentioned at number two. The moderator said that she was writing all her hits (the non-fans don't know it) and even if her domination of the music charts is over and she has the over-the-top diva behavior, she'll always be an idol. That's how MC got described on the show.

Re: Fidget spinners (77,667) (77,686) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I think it's not good/healthy if 5 or 6 year-old kids are on the internet and "playing" with a tablet, smartphone and so on. I know it's common these days but I know a lot of kids who are too young for the digital world, but the parents don't care. It's easier for them than to take time and read with the kids or do a puzzle and learn something while playing. I wouldn't switch with the young children today. That Roc was able to buy 100 fidget spinners (if it's true) says a lot to me. It's normal to give the children everything if you're well, but sometimes a little less can be more.

Re: Cameron? (77,648) (77,650) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Lol. I remember the interview where Cameron said that she can't stand Mariah's music. But it's long ago, maybe it changed a bit. I can imagine that Miss Diaz hates the ballads and likes "I Don't".

Re: Mariah (77,605) (77,606) by MusicfanJ from Germany
I miss the eloquent Mariah too. I can't understand that at a very young age she talked so clever and eloquent. And yes very mature. You had to love her. The past years most interviews are about diva topics or commercials. Superficial topics. I mean how can a young Mariah talk more eloquent than now? Normally grown-ups talk better than tweens. Is it really just a role? I want to see more of the person Mariah not only the diva.

Re: Journalists fat shaming Mariah (77,533) (77,535) by MusicfanJ from Germany
TJ that's very interesting. I've always thought that during the Daydream era she started to become a little more diva like. I wish she would enjoy the fame and still show the world her humble side. I love the humble and shy Mariah from the beginning. But it must be very hard to stay completely "natural" with such a success. Although I think it's possible.

Re: Article: Mariah puts on another underwhelming performance (77,513) (77,519) by MusicfanJ from Germany
Joe Jonas looks nice with the t-shirt. Hmm I didn't hear that they have a feud. Like you said Mimi L., her "team" should tell the press that it's all made up. But hey, only professionals would do that.

Re: The Star (77,512) (77,517) by MusicfanJ from Germany
How I love the NY penthouse too. Mariah belongs to New York no matter what Stella says. I think L.A. and Hollywood can be a "toxic" place for people. For me it seems that NY is less fake (although it's a big-business city). Mariah always looked happy and real in New York and for me she'll always be a NY girl. One last thing to the topic, maybe Crustella fears the Ghostbusters in the city. Lol. The Christmas movie trailer is really nice and I can imagine that the radio stations will play "Star" a lot in December.
