This is basically only the second official live concert by Mariah released. I'm not sure how obvious it was back then, but listening to her 25 years after this concert one realizes that she is really one of the greatest voices to ever walk on this earth. In the Mix (90,860) by Billy from Greece What a great song. I'm hooked. I have it on replay. I love the groove and the fact that her voice sounds the way we recently heard it on the Caution tour, especially the new texture in her whistles. In fact, I think she kind of premiered the whistles from "In the Mix" in one of the "Emotions" performances on the European leg of the tour, can't remember which one. My only concern again is how well this song can be translated live. At the same time, I don't think people realize how intricate and creative are all the counter-melodies and different layers she has in songs such as this one. Obviously she likes this kind of approach, as I do. If only she can find a way to make it work live in a more dynamic way without falling in the trap of trying to simultaneously sing all the different blending parts. If you target and undermine the artist's main marketing tool, which in this case was Mariah's voice, what is the artist left with? For whatever Charmbracelet is, that review was beyond biased, especially given the time of its publication. Same goes for his disturbing review of "Glitter". "Can't Let Go" (February 2019) (89,523) by Billy from Greece She sounds so soulful here. Musically, in terms of melody and structure, "Can't Let Go" is one of the most enchanting songs I've ever heard. Lyrically, it just cuts way too deep. (Wednesday 8 May 2019; 22:19)

Charmbracelet / SHM-CD (89,195) by Billy from Greece I just got the SHM-CD version of "Charmbracelet" and I have to admit that the mixing is superior to the standard CD. There is a clarity in the vocals and a balance between the vocals and the music that offer a much smoother and way more enjoyable experience compared to the original CD. I could say that "Charmbracelet" truly shines in this format. I'm so happy. (Monday 15 April 2019; 15:46)

"Alone In Love" (89,052) by Billy from Greece Can we show this absolute gem some love? One of the first songs that I fell in love with, and one of the benchmarks of Mariah's sound in my opinion. She seems to also consider it special, given that she has mentioned it several times (most recently the Genius interview). When the demos leaked, AIL's demo was also included. It was slightly different and equally haunting. It's the only one you can't find online anymore. Just in thought that the nightmare camp has stolen the demo tape, I want to very, and I mean very, bad things to them. (Sunday 7 April 2019; 23:42)
