About Billy from Greece: I don't know, and neither do you.

MOAIA (89,033) by Billy from Greece
It was a gloomy day here today and I listened to "Memoirs" after quite a while and it fit the mood beautifully.

Loris Holland (88,837) by Billy from Greece
I just noticed that Loris Holland is featured on keyboards on the three Big Jim songs on the "Mimi" album. I thought his only contribution was on "Merry Christmas". Interesting.

"I Still Believe" (Jay Leno) (87,733) by Billy from Greece
A flawless performance and one of my personal favorites. Gorgeous tone, I adore the alternative to the studio version notes, gorgeous face. If only I could pause time.

Re: Heartbreaker / If You Should Ever Be Lonely (87,724) (87,729) by Billy from Greece
The ad libs and all the extra runs in this remix are crazy good.

Rainbow (87,725) by Billy from Greece
I've been loving "Rainbow" a lot lately. This album has always given me the feeling of a "big budget" production. I love the mastering of the record. There is a clarity in sound and in Mariah's vocals that was not present in her previous albums. Jam & Lewis also added a "spaciousness" in the ballads that results in an almost cinematic feel if that makes sense. Despite the aspects that may date it ("X-Girlfriend"), it comes across as a very "comfortable" album for Mariah. I adore the vocals in "Can't Take That Away", particularly the ones in the ending after the bridge. Even though it's only one minute long, "Vulnerability" is one of my favorite Mariah pieces. Same goes for "Rainbow (Interlude)", which I've been singing a lot to myself lately. I want a deluxe edition of this album with all the great remixes included.

Re: Mariah sues personal assistant (87,582) by Billy from Greece
Good for you Mariah. That "assistant" was equally disgusting with the rest of the clan. It's amazing that we could see, even through the media, the immense damage that was lurking yet poor Mariah couldn't. I totally understand, though, how she fell victim of these blackmailers. When you're totally devastated due to personal circumstances (and the second divorce was enough to overwhelm her) it is likely that you do things out of character. Such disgusting people. I'm so glad Mariah "woke up in time". Parasites is an understatement for these scums.

Walter (87,326) by Billy from Greece
Since his name has been discussed a lot lately, here's Mariah's take.

"Glitter" movie commercial / "Firecracker" (87,310) by Billy from Greece
I remember reading that on the initial trailers of "Glitter" you could hear either the original version of "Loverboy" sampling "Firecracker" or just "Firecracker". I just found this so it verifies it. Not sure if it is just the sample or the original "Loverboy" though. As I re-watch the trailer, I think that it is the original "Loverboy" that is played towards the end because the sample is slowed down (compared to the original "Firecraker") and you can hear parts of the vocals as we now know them (namely, the opening of the song before the verses). This is very intriguing because I can somehow imagine how the melody of the chorus would fit on top of the "Firecracker" sample. You can actually sort of sing it following the sample's melodic direction. To be honest, I think I prefer the "Candy" sample, though I can see why a coherent melody was not as prominent in the chorus of "Loverboy" with "Candy" as its basis. Maybe it's the familiarity factor, maybe it's because I've associated "Firecracker" with that other lady's inferior song, I don't know, but I still love "Loverboy" as it is. Interesting discovery, nonetheless.

Chanel 5 "documentary" (87,172) by Billy from Greece
To this day, I don't think I have seen a UK-produced "documentary" about Mariah that is not exaggerated to death, victimizing, defamatory or cringe-worthy.

Walter (87,154) by Billy from Greece
Mariah has never said that she wrote the song when she was twelve.

Re: Ugh Ariana (87,092) (87,106) by Billy from Greece
Did you just put Minnie Riperton and the words "gimmicky, random and borderline cringe worthy" in the same sentence? Are you even serious? I totally agree with your descriptions of Mariah's usage of the whistle register, but to mock the impeccable artistry of Minnie is a travesty.

Miss You Most (Belgium) (87,040) by Billy from Greece
I'm officially dead. And this happened in the same year that we had live snippets or live versions of Outside, Music Box, Can't Let Go, Mariah's Theme, One Child as well as an acknowledgment of Glitter. I love 2018 Mariah.

Slick Rick (86,991) by Billy from Greece
In several interviews Mariah mentioned that she had sampled Slick Rick prior to their collaboration. What song was she referring to?

Beacon 2014 (86,987) by Billy from Greece
I don't think I had realized back then the quality of the vocals she delivered. Wow. Her singing "Hero" is where I'm at right now. Wow. Thank God for this woman.

8th Grade (86,971) by Billy from Greece
So in love with this song. "I'm not your world, I'm not your life." The chorus is stuck in my head. So melancholic.

Re: Billboard's Woman of the Year (86,914) (86,916) by Billy from Greece
I love how all these young ladies initially say how they idolize Mariah and then all of a sudden they don't even reference her as an influence.
